Tricky consent question...

But seriously, I've been thinking about consent and how I handle it in-game. It's incredibly tricky, because while I'm not a fan of non-con stuff, I realize I have created some scenarios where the consent can be dubious. As such, I've already tried to compensate for that by having characters in-game give you subtle warnings about going off with one character, etc.
That being said, is that enough of a warning to *you* the player? If you don't want your main character to be in triggering scenarios, would you prefer a fourth-wall breaking warning beside choices that will lead you down that path? For example:
Dance with Character A
Dance with Character B (Trigger Warning)
Or is it enough to have a character in-game say something along the lines of "I heard that guy is trouble... you shouldn't go dance with him."
Would love to hear your thoughts!
