Weird question... How do you feel about blood/virginity?

I'm in the middle of writing my second scene where the player can lose their v-card, but realized that in some cases it's normal to bleed during/afterwards. But that can make some people super squeamish. So I pose the question to you guys... How do you feel about blood and the mention of it in game when it comes to virginity?
