The day I rediscovered Tumblr (and update 2/2)

Hey guys,

A little update for you all first, I'm still cranking through writing for Saturday, but the end is near. I've just about completed one large branch for the night, once that's done, I'll be on to the other branch, and then all of Saturday will be done writing-wise.

Sunday will be less of a lift because I don't have any super-crazy shenanigans planned (like I do with Saturday), but with how my characters are and the situations they're all in, I may stand corrected.

As of this very moment, I'm clocking in at 5357 lines of code for Saturday. I really was able to write a lot in the last week, but I don't think I'll be able to reach my goal of having all of in-game Saturday done by this coming (IRL) Friday. Even if I'm off by a few days, I'm still really proud, because I'll be on track for my goal release still! (I've had things broken up into weekly milestones for my writing, and have stuck to it pretty well!)

I've also gotten a few CGs drawn in between the writing so I don't have to draw 3-4 a day for weeks like I did back in December. I plan on hopefully only needing a week to get through those at the end of all the writing, but that'll take some sporadic drawing in the meantime.

In other news, at the wonderful suggestion of a patron, I'd decided to make a Tumblr for the game. Now, I used to be on Tumblr religiously before they nuked the site with anti NSFW stuff, and it was a refreshing platform to be on because I wasn't constantly dodging ads to buy shit. I could just collect pretty/sexy/funny shit on my blog and scroll endlessly on my dashboard. 

I haven't been on Tumblr in YEARS. So when I made an account for College Craze, I assumed it was going to be dead. And don't get me wrong, compared to the days I used to be on it, it is dead. But to my surprise, there are still folks on there reflagging things, (even NSFW things, despite the crackdown) and I fell into the old trappings of nostalgia. I was obsessive about finding the right theme to match my aesthetic... and then customizing it in HTML... and then finding the right blogs to follow... and setting up my queue... and it all came rushing back.

I've been finding a lot of great inspo on there whether its for scenes, or characters or just visuals, and I'm glad to be back on the site, even if its a lot different from before. So that's all to say, if you're at all on Tumblr or wanna see my collection of sexy gifs and snippets that resonate with me, or just wanna see me make arbitrary posts about certain characters, come follow me. I'd be happy to follow back of course, and would love to see what your blogs are looking like these days (if you have em still!)

And now an interesting question I got from a patron, that I'd like to pass on to you:

Do you think you could take a guess at someone’s personality based on their romantic interest from College Craze?

I think, from what I’ve seen demographically, most women love Jay, most men love Blair. (They just like her looks though, not her personality, obviously)
I think if you’re more of a romantic, you’d probably gravitate towards Jay, Shaun, Jace, April, Bernie, Prof McCallahan.
If you like to fight and then have lots of make-up sex, I’d think you’d be a fan of Bryce, Trish, Triggs, Courtney, Blair.
If you’re non committal: Rafi, Luke, Pierce, Demi, Grady, Dr.Gray  and Chad. 

And if you like “projects” (ie I can fix him!) then: Gabe, Thomas, Dean Monroe, Samir, and Grady.
