We’re In The Home Stretch & Update 5/27

Hey guys!

Quick Friday update for y’all this week. I added 587 more lines of code and 5,984 more words to the script, so that puts us at 6,350 programmed lines and 67,161 words of dialogue for v4! I’m hoping to be done with all the writing by the next update! The art is also swimming right along with 3 more CGs complete, and the lineart for another 2 finished as well. Once writing is done, I’ll be going back to add in the posing, CG placeholders, and to proofread/edit the writing to prep for the beta testing period.

I know you saw yesterday's mini update regarding the voice actor, but here’s another friendly reminder. Since it’s been opened to Seniors, we’ve got more takers, but there are still a few spots left! Sign ups close on Monday at 11:59 PM EST, and the sooner we get the list to the VA, the sooner I get to finish programming.

On another note, I'm aiming for the beta testing period to be only a few weeks from now. I’ve been getting more interest from people wanting to test the game. I’ll be putting out a sign up form for volunteers closer to the date, so keep an eye out. Keep in mind that this isn’t just an opportunity to play the game in advance. I need people who are going to stress test the build, check for typos, point out any narrative inconsistencies and mark all the choices they made to find errors so that I can reproduce and resolve it. If you think you’re up to it, be sure to sign up when the form is published! :)
