BTS + location + EXIF + gear - Syren in the sun - Lyubov

Once again I was shooting in the midday sun, which is not something you are supposed to know if you ask most photographers, but I kinda love the harsh shadows, high contrast and just having my models get toasty.

About the model

Lyubov responded to an Instagram ad I created prior to travelling to Thailand. She is a russian handpan teacher living on the island for a couple months already in a cozy bungallow.

After the shoot she invited me over for a russian tea that I never had before and thaught me some basic stuff to play on the handpan (see picture).

Location

My model picked the location, since she is the local. We had to cross around some rocks with our bags over our head in the water (where of course we both cut our legs), but it wasn't that hard. On the other side there were two people nude sunbathing on the secret beach... well, they got a free show.
