Excellent suggestions!

Great reaction to a fantastic series, but I think I´m going to only suggest shows where you don´t have to be afraid of jumpscares and can enjoy the story more :) The Americans - cold war drama (75 episodes) and of the best series ever created Black Sails - prequel to the classic novel Treasure Island and one of the most underrated series out there (38 ep) The Marvellous Mrs. Maisel - housewife in 1958 becomes a stand-up comic (26 ep so far), brilliant writing and acting, could be a great replacement for Ted Lasso. Dopesick - miniseries about the opiod crisis/OxyContin, on right now, will have 8 ep., hard to watch, but very important & great cast. Barry - great comedy about a hit man who wants to become an actor, 16 ep so far Fargo - can´t really describe it, amazingly ridiculous crime drama anthology (maybe), every season plays in different time but everything is connected... (41 ep) The Boys - what would Superheroes really be like... :) (16 ep so far) Warrior - Tong Wars in the late 1800s in San Francisco, not only the martial arts are top tier (20 ep so far) Kidding - no one can make you laugh and cry in a matter of seconds like Jim Carrey! 20 ep Some miniseries to keep in mind if you want something short and amazing: Chernobyl, Escape at Dannemorra, Sharp Objects, Mare of Easttown, Waco. I´ll stop here, but there is more... ;)

Hits you right in the feels. What a beautiful show.

WackySwacky

did you find all the other ghosts hidden in the background? mike flanagan said there are “dozens.” 😈

Summer

I lose it every single time Mr. Dudley is carrying his wife to the house. Such a beautiful moment!

Molecule

So ends another Natmares season. *despondently kicks a pebble* If only it were 13 months longer. (No typos.)

Sean

Did you miss the reveal of Hugh's body? When Steve was asking him (after the other siblings left the house) what he saw?, when he stumbled while him/the dad were carrying Luke/he looked down - that was when he saw the body.

Bryce Hatley

I do hope you continue with The Haunting of Bly Manor, though not as good as Hill House it still is worth a watch in my opinion.

Nat and everyone else, another creator I’m a patron of Ladyknightthebrave does video essays and her best one IMO is the essay on this show. Watch it on YouTube. It’s long but it’s excellent and I’ve watched it multiple times. Here’s the link for the essay: https://youtu.be/lSZVIW6zM9I

Glenn Wiggam

ok i cried, who else?

Kamikazedude

That's cool, I didn't know that

Gavin Day

Bly would be awesome, Midnight Mass would be good too

Gavin Day

Just going to add to the chorus begging to not wait a year for Bly Manor.... this was one of the best reactions you've done, and Bly would be incredible.

I'm so glad you finally watched this show as did I this past summer for the first time and became absolutely obsessed with it. I really loved the monologue that you had at the end to wrap up your reaction to this series because it did give me a bit more to go on myself, to be honest. I can't wait to see your next poll and I'm still crossing my fingers for Saw and The Walking Dead to be on that list if you haven't seen either of those already. Happy Halloween Natalie :)

Bobby Riesco

That’s harsh.

Dooly

Shirley is still a pos and should never be forgiven

Since I've not seen anyone else mention it yet, I'll be the "original ending" guy. So, apparently, the original ending was supposed to hint that the characters never made it out of the red room. I believe you were supposed to be able to see the red room's window in the background of Luke's 2-year celebration. But Mike Flanagan changed his mind because he felt like the Crains had been through enough, and he wanted them to have a happier ending. I'm so glad he made that decision, personally - even though I've seen a lot of people disagree. The bittersweet ending works so much better for the themes of this show than the original ending. I'm a pretty big horror buff, so I find it really refreshing when a horror movie/show pulls out a happier ending because so many just end in tragedy.

Hill House is a hill I will die on - the best thing I’ve seen Nat review. I’m absolutely serious, I was ready to quit after episode 2, I was so traumatized by the kittens. But I hung on for my beloved episode 3 (still my favorite) and for everything to come and I’m better for it. And now I can’t stop looking for friends and family members to share the show with. I always say “Trust me.” And quote one single line from the very first: “It isn’t what you think it is.” What an experience. What a journey. What a story. What a surprise. Best thing she has done this Natmare season, best thing on the channel by a mile. And I say that absolutely loving Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, Marvel, even Thrones. This is special. This is unique. And so so worth every minute. Still Golden… and so grateful to have shared this.

Missing relevant information is her thing.

Dooly

Oh no! Nat looked away/wiped her tears for the whole Hugh's body reveal. 😲

Natalie, there's a phrase i've enjoyed you saying in many of your reactions: "...we can't have nice things"... and if i am honest, that is the depressing way i see much - most - of my life. So it's still amazes me that this magnificent series is one that we all got to share with you. I've been trying to get friends and family to watch it for more than a year now, with very little success. I wanted it to enrich their lives, i wanted to hear what they had to say about it.... It is an amazing work of filmed literature, and watching through it again with you has enriched it more than i can say. The series is magnificent - but Natalie, your reactions to it - have been a masterpiece. Your insights along the way and at the end have been worth so much more than the shekels i toss into the Patreon membership! Almost none of the very few people i managed to talk into watching this - agreed with me on many of the points you made at the end of this video. In many ways this show was more terrifying and haunted than any of the schlocky, torture-porn that gets made. Sadness, depression, and that excruciating dullness, the loss of joy is more menacing than 98% of the horror stories we find everywhere. And this show was beautiful, exquisite. Very sad, unsettling, but enthralling. Not to be missed, and even in this world where 'we can't have nice things' - we got to have this superb thing alongside of you. I can't express my gratitude for how you enhanced what was already magnificent.

I'm so glad you missed the Abigail reveal in the last episode cuz it sure made for a much better reaction in this one. This show drives me to tears everytime I watch it especially this finale. The writing, the performances, the editing, the cinematography, the music... just the overall story is so wonderfully crafted. Probably one of my favorite shows of all time. Thanks so much for watching it. It's been such an incredible journey reliving it with you. 💜

Anthony Willis

Okay, now that you're finished the series, you must watch all the ghosts you missed in the background! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmE4M6puY-4&t=606s

J

you should def do a video reacting to the hidden ghosts.

Vincent Valentin

I know october is about to end but I truly hope you watch bly mannor as well, even if you don't react to it I think its worth watching in your own time, mike flanagan man !!!! that dude knows how to weave horror with very poignant stories filled with hard concepts. I just finished mignight mass as well and its a deviation from the haunting series for sure but it still feels like like a mike flanagan exploration of faith, amazing amazing series hill house a masterpiece of horror imo

jose giron

Hi Nat and thank you so much for this great and intense journey, this show is a gem, the characters, the dialogues, sounds designs, the atmosphere, etc, everything was so perfect! This show is the perfect example of why I love the genre fantastic. I don't why but I felt the twist coming with the little girl (what a twist, what a twist haha) And oh boy, your tears are so contagious, you almost brought me to tears hahaha, more seriously I felt so bad for you, I just hope Koda and Tyler gave you a lot of hugs 🤗 On this note, I hope you're fine, take care, be safe and stay golden as you are! 💛

Calo Grsf

Just coming here to mention this.

Nicholas Hentges

Now you have finished the series I suggest you might like to check out a video where they show all the hidden ghosts of the series.

Lee Gannon

RustafanX

Really glad I watched this series. I had not heard of it before and it turned out to be great. It was very well made. Great cinematography, suspense, and emotional payoffs. I will recommend this to people for sure.

Myles Away

I think you missed the reveal of Hugh’s body lying on top of the staircase after he showed Steve the truth. You were wiping your eyes 😂😂😂

Ali S.

Oh man this show broke me.. This episode in particular and right now I'm just not okay. Thank you for doing this show Nattie - I probably wouldn't have watched it if not <3

Danishprince

great finale!

Grady Shelton

It was really great to see this story end in such a moving and beautiful way Nat, and your emotional reaction for this episode, and the entire series, helped bring everything together. Family is family. The show started off them being ghosts to one another, but when it really matters, everyone comes together to do what's right. Thanks for watching this show on your channel Nat. We've had plenty of flapping hands and screams along the way, but I think it's your reaction for today's final show that will stick with me the most 💛

Darryl Low

I like to think of the Red Room like the Room of Requirement from Harry Potter.

Philip De Leon

Same.

Navjot Singh

And please do The Haunting of Bly Manor as well. It's another very beautiful story and slightly less terrifying and made by the same people

Navjot Singh

Don't know if it was mentioned earlier but now that you have finished the series, I guess now is the right time. The five Crain kids represented 5 stages of grief Steve is denial, Shirley is anger, Theo is Bargaining, Luke is depression and Nell is acceptance. The show even went through their stories in the first five episodes in the same order.

Navjot Singh

Oh my... watching the penny drop when they find Abigail... that's EXACTLY how I felt. Such a gut punch! I don't know how much you noticed all the set trickery they did... they were constantly changing little parts of the set (statues in different poses, things moved around, etc.) including during long shots. So many little things to set you on edge. Everything about this show, from the writing, to the acting, to the sound design, to the set design, is just impeccably magnificent. And the ending is so bittersweet and full of love, I absolutely adore this show and watching it never gets old.

Byron

I've seen it so many times now that I'm good all the way up until the Dudley's return to the house. Gets me every time.

Thomas Yanez

I didn't think this episode would strike me again but man was I wrong. I don't think that I've ever experienced a piece of fiction that hit me that much in the feels

Philippe Dessaints

Yeah, she didn't comment on it and people usually do when they realize it. I was wondering if she actually noticed how the window was the same as they were flipping through the various versions.

Thomas Yanez

Oh, and to answer a question.... Vasectomies can be reversed. Most of them have an extremely high chance of being reversed if the patient chooses to do so afterward.

Jomero

Even though he doesn't seem to want to be there, he's one damned cute dog.

Thomas Yanez

I loved how every aspect of the red room had that same rectangular window in the background if you looked for it. I love subtle consistency. I agree that this show should still be classified as horror. It's just "horror with a heart."

Jomero

More held Koda during reactions, peeze!

UmmmmmmNo

I hope we won’t need to wait until next year to see your reaction to Bly Manor

Jeff Wolff

So glad that Nat got past the scares and get invested in the wonderful story, very proud of her.

Obie Brown

Happy Thursday Nat yeah thought the tears would flow I'm expecting some What! Moments as everything comes together I'm super excited just to get going and hear your thoughts tbh so let's do that shall we and begin cheers for doing this series Nat it's been amazing 💛 and boy was this finale sad my eyes were not dry that's for sure 😥 it was great to see koda he was super chill for a while 🙂

Ian

Happy Thursday, Natalie! 😊 Since this is the finale episode, I'm going to watch this reaction right now. I think that I remember how this ends. And I've got plenty of tissues on hand. Have a great day today! 😊 Until the next video, Stay Golden! 💛
