HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! Help me pick a movie!
Added 2021-11-20 17:00:07 +0000 UTCFigured it'd be fun to kick it off with some animated suggestions!

As Honest Trailers joked, a movie that goths, outcasts and unconventional rule-breakers have all joined in on big creative displays of showing the world that they all love the SAME MOVIE!
Eric Janssen
2021-11-23 05:17:32 +0000 UTCI remember all the goth girls in my highschool were obsessed with NBC. Not surprising since it became the face of Hot Topic.

2021-11-22 22:20:51 +0000 UTCThe Ref (1994) is one of the best Christmas movies ever!
David Sumner
2021-11-22 17:49:49 +0000 UTCNever been a holiday guy before, let alone holiday movie guy, but this season I'm all in, cartoons whatever, been a shit year over here. Like Joey Ramone said, "Merry Christmas, I don't want to fight tonight" 💛
Joe D. MacGuffinstuff
2021-11-22 09:44:09 +0000 UTCScrooged would be great
James Yetter
2021-11-22 04:44:37 +0000 UTCHarumph. Nobody says, "please watch The Ref". An overlooked Christmas jem. Sorry Nat, you know I request this all the time. Just had to make it public.
TamaMetalPuppet
2021-11-22 02:42:49 +0000 UTCThat would really be a treat. :)
Logan Kerlee
2021-11-22 02:35:57 +0000 UTCThank you! I watch it every Christmas Eve, it is a smuch a tradition as that stupid Charlie Brown movie.
Vega
2021-11-22 02:29:57 +0000 UTCYou're missing the ultimate Christmas movie: Die Hard! Bruce Willis trapped in a building as Alan Rickman takes hostages to steal money on Christmas Eve. And before anyone says it's not a true Christmas movie, Bruce does have to fix his broken marriage and learn what the real meaning of family is!
Richard Church
2021-11-22 01:38:00 +0000 UTCHoping you can do Arcane at some point :)
Javier Vara
2021-11-22 00:34:36 +0000 UTCKlaus needs to be watched as well!
Simon Bauer
2021-11-21 23:47:35 +0000 UTCIf you're looking for a GREAT movie that takes place during Christmas, try Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Kevin Maguire

2021-11-21 21:20:03 +0000 UTCJust to see if it can be done, this year I’m going to try and get SOME reactor to watch 1985’s Santa Claus: the Movie 😈 ‘78-Superman sets, one of John Lithgow’s most recognizable performances, and the Big Lebowski as Best Movie Santa Ever. 🎅
Eric Janssen
2021-11-21 16:36:07 +0000 UTCKlaus is the best film on this list. It was never gonna win tho.
djKENTO
2021-11-21 16:04:04 +0000 UTCTim Burton actually had very little to do with The Nightmare Before Christmas. He was in a different country shooting Batman Returns while Henry Selick was directing. They were friends and Tim Burton designed the characters but Disney slapped his name on the film so it’d have some recognition.
djKENTO
2021-11-21 16:02:14 +0000 UTCAn American Christmas Carol starring Henry Winkler is my personal favorite version 😊
Ben Wheeler
2021-11-21 15:19:04 +0000 UTCThe polar express is brilliantly written tho, just sayin. but tim burton, a quirky genius, i get it.
Cripkie
2021-11-21 14:27:54 +0000 UTCoh, well late to the game.
Cripkie
2021-11-21 14:27:19 +0000 UTCJust so you know going into it, Tim Burton did not direct Nightmare Before Christmas. Also, if you want other "Christmas" movie recommendations, try The Nice Guys (it's set during Christmas). Think you'll love it.
Marc Ammundsen
2021-11-21 13:52:23 +0000 UTCAnother really cool animated movie featuring Santa Claus, and other characters from holidays throughout the year is Rise of the Guardians
Darryl Low
2021-11-21 10:25:22 +0000 UTCKlaus is great, do it too! please. I voted for NBC.
Kevin Warner
2021-11-21 08:35:19 +0000 UTCDiscworld for the win!
Tomas
2021-11-21 08:17:37 +0000 UTCI totally agree with your sentiment, but maybe ease up on the spoilers as she hasn't seen it yet? 😉🙏
Tomas
2021-11-21 08:11:20 +0000 UTCDamn it! Klaus will never win! X'D
Fredrik Larsson
2021-11-21 07:11:03 +0000 UTCHaha, I'd get to watch Nightmare before Christmas with you for the first time, but please, please to Klaus too! It's a wonderful movie :) And speaking of animation, it doesn't have to be for Christmas, but I am currently in love with Arcane on Netflix! It's a bit edgy for an animation, but it's extremely well done and top-notch storytelling
Yani Dodge
2021-11-21 05:52:03 +0000 UTCSorry, not seeing it.
chicks dig me
2021-11-21 04:47:50 +0000 UTCwell this is not one sided at all lol
jose giron
2021-11-21 02:35:02 +0000 UTCHope your gonna do fewer Series and more Movies.
Daniel Vezina
2021-11-21 00:53:31 +0000 UTCNat watched Planes, Trains for us last Thanksgiving. The full reaction is here on Patreon, and the edit is up on her Youtube channel.
Darryl Low
2021-11-21 00:18:33 +0000 UTCSome other great Christmas movies I can recommend include: -Scrooged (Starring Bill Murray as a modern day Scrooge, with Karen Allen from Raiders of the Lost Ark.) -Shazam! (Part of the DC Extended Universe, so maybe you'd want to wait until you go through that universe, if you do go through it. It's the one that starts with Man of Steel. If not, Shazam! works perfectly well as a standalone film.) -Die Hard -Gremlins
Nicholas Sulikowski
2021-11-21 00:09:45 +0000 UTCWell this was easy. Have you not seen Nightmare before Christmas? That and Edward Scissorhands were my go to comfort Christmas movies. Also, if you haven't seen it, Planes Trains and Automobiles is THE Thanksgiving movie.
Cory Silver
2021-11-20 23:57:17 +0000 UTCwould also recommend Plague Dogs, another animated movie with a similar vibe.
Dooly
2021-11-20 22:59:11 +0000 UTCIs it accessible for people who don’t play or know the lore of League of Legends?
Dooly
2021-11-20 22:55:32 +0000 UTCNightmare before Christmas really defined a generation 4 this wild idea of like Halloween Town and Jack skellington and the rest of the towel like taking Halloween to Christmas it even kidnapping Santa Claus that was crazy and having the boogeyman kind of involved as well it was such a wild idea but it works it really does the sig he's actually really good it's one of the few musical movies I really enjoy I still enjoy to this day
David Pressley
2021-11-20 21:39:21 +0000 UTCDefinitely nightmare before Christmas. That is such a classic movie I grew up on it.
David Pressley
2021-11-20 21:38:20 +0000 UTCI’d bet you like mushrooms. Cause you’re a Fungi 🥁
Stefan Johannsson
2021-11-20 20:52:45 +0000 UTCYes, Natalie hasn't done What If? yet. She needs to do that, and Hawkeye starts on Wed. so she's getting behind again.
Richard Maurer
2021-11-20 20:45:07 +0000 UTC"Watership Down" the original is a great animated movie. I saw it as a little kid and it was a bit traumatizing, still sticks with me today as one of my favorite movies. It's not holiday related, but it features rabbits as main characters. I won't say no more. It's a suggestion for another animated movie poll.
ron young
2021-11-20 20:42:20 +0000 UTCRare Exports: A Christmas Tale. My kind of Christmas movie. That being said I didn't bother to vote as I didn't care about any of these movies and TNBC is going to win anyway.
Richard Maurer
2021-11-20 20:37:48 +0000 UTCAnother Christmas movie that I always watch and always puts me in the best mood is Arthur Christmas, highly recommended!😊
Julia Bennie
2021-11-20 20:03:43 +0000 UTCActually misread that as The Natmare Before Christmas LOL
Sir_Dalagad
2021-11-20 20:00:13 +0000 UTCThe 1983 Christmas Carol is my favorite.
2021-11-20 19:59:34 +0000 UTCOr and hear me out, more marvel reactions. Or man of steel. Jk but not really. Loving your reactions either way. You rock.
Alvin Baca
2021-11-20 19:45:41 +0000 UTCLetting us know this is the VoicePlay cover of Oogie Boogie's song I do not think would be a spoiler. and YES I think she would like it. Possibly put it on the end of her reaction to the movie as a little bonus.
Garrick Smalley
2021-11-20 19:26:50 +0000 UTCVoted for Nightmare. Would love to see you also react to Hogfather even if it is live action. It is a bit long at 3hrs but it is full of British absurd humor and satire about Christmas.
Garrick Smalley
2021-11-20 19:19:06 +0000 UTCChristmas movies??? I’m sure you’ve watched “It’s A Wonderful Life” there’s a similar modern redux. 2000’s “The Family Man” with Nic Cage / Tea Leoni / Don Cheadle.
Oottat
2021-11-20 19:07:18 +0000 UTCI havent' seen Nightmare before Christmas yet and now I have a good reason to finally see it.
Joits
2021-11-20 19:04:05 +0000 UTCWhat, not the 1951 Alastair Sim? (huh-huh!) You must be mad!
Eric Janssen
2021-11-20 19:02:41 +0000 UTCHow about a Christmas movie without Chevy Chase, that you HAVEN’T lived to see in theaters?: The 1983 George C. Scott “A Christmas Carol”. (And for the next kiddo who says, “No, but I remember the weird Jim Carrey cartoon!”….this is why I point these things out. That fever-nightmare I wouldn’t inflict on anyone. 😱 )
Eric Janssen
2021-11-20 19:00:01 +0000 UTCSo much suspense. I wonder which one will win? /sarcasm Yeah I voted for it too. It's a great movie and you will love it.
JayF
2021-11-20 18:42:36 +0000 UTCA fun Christmas movie you should watch is Krampus (2015). It's a comedy/horror movie that I ALWAYS love watching during winter!
TwiztedBuddha
2021-11-20 18:19:33 +0000 UTCWell these are only animated options so you can probably expect Die Hard to get polled (and rightly so because it is 100% a christmas movie ;) )
Danishprince
2021-11-20 17:57:10 +0000 UTCYou should definitely watch Arcane (Netflix show), it's probably Netflix's best show.
Edwin Bertilsson
2021-11-20 17:54:41 +0000 UTCThree of these are great. And the other one is The Polar Express.
Aaron Kirk
2021-11-20 17:53:09 +0000 UTCPolar Express still has a chance!! Come on guys!! Lol
Jenny Tolls
2021-11-20 17:52:53 +0000 UTCAlthough I'd be interested on hearing your thoughts on The Polar Express, it's always more fun to watch you see something for the first time.
Ken Schneyer
2021-11-20 17:51:27 +0000 UTCAfter watching Nightmare Before Christmas, she should watch this music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbxkOntz2SA
2021-11-20 17:49:02 +0000 UTCNot too keen on any of these in particular, but at least it's not pretending Die Hard is a Christmas movie. Being set at that time of the year doesn't make it a holiday movie. She should react to it tho. Just not as a so-called Christmas movie. The kind that would have guns, terrorists, and explosions. LOL
Robert Reichle
2021-11-20 17:36:13 +0000 UTCIt’s not animated but National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is a great Christmas movie to check out.
Adam Grunther
2021-11-20 17:30:48 +0000 UTCIf you haven't seen Nightmare, then i defffinitely vote for that
2021-11-20 17:26:24 +0000 UTCDoes the Dis+ version have the song they left out of the theatrical/DVD? "When Love is Gone"
Lucas Roemersberger
2021-11-20 17:14:09 +0000 UTCLethal Weapon: https://www.patreon.com/posts/first-time-44874617 You're welcome. 🙂
Onno Smits
2021-11-20 17:12:30 +0000 UTCAlso just realized these were animated suggestions so disregard my list 😆
Charlie Keeler
2021-11-20 17:12:17 +0000 UTCWait wait wait…no Christmas Vacation? No Muppets Christmas Carol? Elf? Die Hard? Welp I’ll vote for Klaus then one of the better holiday films in a while but Nightmare is more fun so maybe not 🤔
Charlie Keeler
2021-11-20 17:11:00 +0000 UTCIf you watch any version of A Christmas Carol this year, watch the one with Patrick Stewart
Lucky Dragon ‘She.They’
2021-11-20 17:09:16 +0000 UTCYes please react to a Silent Voice and Your Name, 2 of the Best Anime Films!
2021-11-20 17:07:33 +0000 UTCI agree! I loved this film however it's too early for it hahaha
Calo Grsf
2021-11-20 17:06:48 +0000 UTCHappy Saturday, Natalie! 😊 Great holiday movie choices for this poll. "Dr. Seuss' The Grinch" got my vote for this one. Mainly since that's the only one listed here that I haven't seen yet. Have a great day today! 😊 Stay Golden! 💛
Randee Carreno
2021-11-20 17:06:16 +0000 UTCKLAUS!! 😭😭😭😭 It's gonna make you cry for sure.
Brian - DocHikes - Hall
2021-11-20 17:05:50 +0000 UTCI second the suggestion for A Muppet Christmas Carol - it’s one of my favourites! The songs are amazing!
Ali D
2021-11-20 17:05:24 +0000 UTCAt some point please watch my fav Chrismas movie "Groundhog Day". Not technically a Christmas movie I know, but it is set in winter and has a real "Christmas Carol" feeling to it, even more so than Bill Murray's other movie "Scrooged".
ProgressiveRoxx
2021-11-20 17:05:08 +0000 UTCGo with the classics if you haven't seen any of them yet. It's a wonderful life Home Alone Die hard The Santa Clause Or to be unique go with - The Hogfather by Terry Pratchett
Seymor Butz
2021-11-20 17:04:51 +0000 UTCHas to be Nightmare Before Christmas, such a classic, the stop-motion is incredible!
Andy Crawley
2021-11-20 17:04:39 +0000 UTCAnimated Holiday Movies and Nattie G. The perfect combination 💛
Darryl Low
2021-11-20 17:03:38 +0000 UTCNightmare Before Christmas is probably the best among these but none compare to the best holiday movie of all time, Die Hard.
The Golgothan
2021-11-20 17:03:37 +0000 UTCNot a holiday movie but you should check out " a silent voice". Japanese animated films have an awesome way of capturing mental health and feelings and its just an excellent movie.
Raymond Tleimat
2021-11-20 17:03:32 +0000 UTCBa humbug! I hate Christmas! But a nightmare before sounds best
Declan Cahill
2021-11-20 17:03:25 +0000 UTCI'm not big on the Holiday movie genre over all, but out of these I'd prefer Klaus, but NBC would also be OK
Felix Bergman
2021-11-20 17:03:22 +0000 UTCNatalie! You've gotta do Muppets' Christmas Carol! It's got catchy tunes, Michael Caine, and it's hilarious!
Joe Blankenship
2021-11-20 17:02:46 +0000 UTCNot on the list but Fred Clause is good!
VidKris
2021-11-20 17:02:34 +0000 UTCWow, overwhelming nightmare before Xmas in just a couple minutes.

2021-11-20 17:02:02 +0000 UTC👎🏻 to all
