The long, silent journey home.

....................................................................................................................................

Sorry it took a while, I had a college test (I think I nailed it), and in a burst of sudden inspiration, I joined a regional karate tournament. I didn't do so well, but I only trained for 3 days, so I don't think I can complain! It was a great experience and I'll definitely be joining more karate tournaments. In the meantime, I'll get back to working on the comic! Thank you all for the support!

But yeah, oof, Lynn Sr doesn't seem too thrilled about what's going on.

That look in Lynn Sr's eyes is more than enough proof that he is generally pissed and shocked.

CipherRage0909

I wonder if they’ll be grounded or get a different punishment.

Double Gron

We'll see what happens with the sisters...

UnderratedHero

Paul's right, the parents need a moment alone to gather their thoughts and figure out what to do.

UnderratedHero

I thought that, because if they start yelling, inside the house, the rest of the family will hear everything.

Happychap2628

I suspect he and Rita want to talk to each other before talking to Lincoln and Lynn Jr.

Paul Hoon

I just noticed Lynn Sr.’s hands shaking at the steering wheel. Is that shaking out of anger or fear I wonder?

Paul Hoon

I really want to know why Lynn Sr sent them inside and not talked to them in Vanzilla, but then that would spoil the next page.

Happychap2628

Only the parents know, currently.

UnderratedHero

Lo dudo

UnderratedHero

They're clearly shocked and trying to process what's going on and what this means.

UnderratedHero

I’m really hoping that the other sisters don’t find out, because why would the parents tell them? You know what I mean? I wonder if this is where Lucy reveals that she knows.

Paul Hoon

Oh man. It’s not going to be a quick transition. We’re really getting into it. Is it just the parents that know or do the rest of the family find out too?

Paul Hoon

Ok. We'll know eventually. Glad you're back

C.E. Zim93

Solo dime una cosa... Habrá agresión física?💔

Hugo Sanchez

See, I would of expected this from Rita, after she and Lynn. Jr had that talk in chapter 3, but to have Lynn Sr have that look in his eyes is something else. I can't wait to see what he has to say.

Happychap2628

I don't think they'd ever be separated if it was up to them :/

UnderratedHero

Creen que soy malvado, pero todavía no han visto nada.

UnderratedHero

That's a scary picture you're painting there with your words; the scariest part being that you're not all that wrong. But we'll see how it develops, cause the Loud family is still a loving, tight family, and there's not much that can change that... probably.

UnderratedHero

Lynn Sr, while softer than your usual dad, has his moments when he goes firm. If we're using the defcon scale according to BITF, this is a 1.

Willy Asaka

Aztrux

Oh no, it's very likely that they didn't temporarily separate by choice…

Mia Roman

We're getting closer to find out what they think

UnderratedHero

I think that Jr. would get more grief from her parents irl since she is female and two years older than Lincoln. Families can vary greatly, but that's what I’ve seen irl.

Mia Roman

W-We'll see

UnderratedHero

Oh God things are getting tense!! I just hope nothing bad happens

C.E. Zim93

I can only imagine what the other siblings would think or say if they find out Lincoln and LJ secret. It’s nerve racking.

Thuren Miller

Gosh, the silence on the ride home speaks more volume than any words ever could. You could cut the tension with a paper knife, it feels like. I’m not liking the way Lynn Sr. is transforming here. Back on the dock, he was the loving, caring, worried and concerned parent, but once the Mountie dropped that bombshell, he’s been turning slowly from Jekyll to Hyde, it seems. I can see the anger in his eyes, how his hands are shaking, and how tightly he’s gripping the steering wheel. I could even hear the icy chill in Lynn Sr.’s voice and quite frankly, it scares the hell out of me. I can only pray and hope that he’s not visualizing that steering wheel as Lincoln’s neck . . . The night of reckoning is upon Lincoln and Lynn; it’s time for them to stand—er, sit together in the faces of adversity. Even if those faces are their parents and the rest of their sisters . . .

I.O. Penner

Hopefully it doesn't get to a funeral lol But they're in a dire situation for sure...

UnderratedHero

It's gonna be tough, for sure...

UnderratedHero

La idea es acomodar mis horarios para poder publicar más seguido, pero aprecio la paciencia <3

UnderratedHero

That's a pretty big tell lmao

UnderratedHero

I'm imagining the funeral playing... poor Lynncoln

Hootsifer

Sure thing, but now it’s time for Lincoln and Lynn jr. to explain themselves. This is so gonna get really interesting and dramatic.🙁😔

Double Gron

Ah dios mío noooo😢😢; por cierto no hay problema que tardes de subir las paginas se que tienes muchas cosas que hacer sigue así

Juan Carlos Juarez

You know it’s serious when the lines around the eyes AND pupils come out 😬
