Honestly, you can just go with the “Lincoln is adopted” route. It’s been heavily implied a bit during the real show. And even if the parents say that he is, the story behind is birth is way to weird of a story. If they’re blood related it’ll be really friggin weird, but if they’re not it’d be a lot easier to make the story at least somewhat a happy ending

But it just feels like they're trying to justify in their minds that there must be some reason - any reason - as to why their son and daughter are in a romantic relationship together. But, as Lincoln and Lynn keep saying, these feelings just developed and happened on their own. It's a very simple and honest truth; there's no ulterior motive behind that explanation. But I'm guessing they will at least hear this psychologist out, if only just to appease their parents. However, I'm sure Lincoln and Lynn already know this is a lose-lose situation - having this third party put their two cents in and just parrot back how this relationship is all wrong, and you need to reevaluate yourselves and your feelings, et cetera, et cetera. I just feel this won't make a difference - judgment has already been passed and no amount of psychoanalyzing will undo all of that.

It's not gonna be pretty. 😮💨😥 Honestly, it's better for these love birds to just run away and start a new life together. To find happiness as a couple and to not bring any grief to their friends or family anymore. It's worth sacrificing for.

And if I have to wait till I’m not beholden to anyone(becoming a free adult) then I will and hope that my family won’t completely abandon us
