Ouch! I love love love Ms. Marvel, however if you are going to watch it I recommend just watching episodes 1, 2, the first half of episode 3 and then the season finale (no recaps). I think episodes 4&5 are the most important ones but they belong in another season, like if they were doing 3 seasons of this show it should be in like late season 2/early season 3.

I definitely recommend getting around to watching Daredevil S2 at some point. It's the weakest of the 3 seasons but not bad by any stretch and you'd need to watch it before season 3 which is arguably the best season.

Daredevil season 2 isn't as good as the first, but it builds up to quite possibly the best television marvel will ever produce with season 3. I highly recommend finishing DD before the new series is released.

I'm half way through and I don't get CW vibes. The issues with CW to me stem from low budget and a mismatch between the somewhat serious tone they try to achieve and kind of silly writing. Wednesday doesn't have those problems to me.

It’s very YA in nature and tone, it’s clearly geared at the teen market. Jenna Ortega nails the role but it’s a CW show with a budget. There are elements of a very good show in there but they get washed out by bad acting and mediocre writing

Laura Thornley: I believe 127% that this was an intentional marketing decision, made after great thought and debate. We live in a world now full of people who spent their entire lives growing up from childhood with mainstream internet. A lot of those people have an attention span of about 10 seconds before they click off onto something else. That is how "short form" social media has conditioned them to be. The movie/show marketing people know this and figure they have about 10 seconds, 20 if they are lucky to "hook" their potential new audience and get them to watch the movie or show. So they throw everything they can into the trailer. All the best scenes, arcs, one-liners etc into 10-20 seconds because they think if the viewer loses interest part way through and clicks off they lost that viewer forever. It doesn't matter how amazing the story is, how amazing the cast is, the directing etc etc... If they can't hook these new people with a 10-20 second attention span in the trailer they won't give it a second thought and will not watch it. Marketing people tend to focus on the young generations of "new customers" that don't already have an interest in what they are selling... which tends to leave the rest of us out to dry. Very similar to how most websites development teams are redesigning everything with the eyes of smartphone/tablet users and completely screwing over real computer uses in the process. I could be very very wrong. But this is the only way it makes sense to me how the trailers have became nothing more that a giant experience ruining spoiler to me. Also explains the spoilery nature of the "previously on" and "next time on" intro and outros of most shows.

I loved Wednesday. Jenna Ortega and gwedoline Christie who played Brianne on got were absolutely brilliant. If you loved the Addams family you might really liked this show, it's really well done. I had my doubts considering being Netflix (sorry not sorry) and Tim Burton but I was so surprised and I cannot wait for season 2.

Problem is you can't just watch Daredevil season 1-3 without none of the others. Season 3 is a direct continuation of Defenders and would make zero sense to a viewer that hasn't seen at least that. Watching Defenders without watching at least season 1 of the other shows also makes zero sense.

IMO, the Marvel Fans (of which I am occasionally one) did this to themselves when there was a demand that Nat watch all of the Marvel Netflix shows after DD won the first poll. If the fans had agreed to just watch DD Seasons 1 - 3 outright they'd probably already have reactions to all three at this point. But having DD win a poll, and then telling the reactor that means there are 10 seasons of random and bad shows to watch was a big misstep.

I liked Ms. Marvel even though it was a bit YA for me. She-Hulk I just didn't watch past the first episode. Something just felt off about it. I didn't get the humor and just didn't get invested in the character. Haven't seen Wednesday, but I've heard great things. You could always go back to DD2, though I'm sure you're planning to at some point anyway. But, I voted for Andor, which has pleasantly surprised me becoming my favorite show of the year. It looks like Wednesday will win, but I hope you include Andor on another poll in the future.

There's a "slow burn", and then there is just outright bad pacing. True Detective season one is an excellent slow burn that holds interest and is compelling throughout every one of it's episodes, and Andor isn't even remotely in that league. Many of it's shots went on WAY too long and there were entire episodes that could have easily been condensed into much more entertaining 15 minute scenarios. It was sadly just not well edited. Still a really good show, but it turned many people off because of that. That story could have been epic within an 8 episode arc.

@Emily Albaugh - The vast majority of shows that did run for 20+ episodes were running episodic television with a self contained story within each episode. It wasn't long form content....smh..... I did get a laugh out of your attempted slight though. Now if you want to take offense due to me pointing out the blatantly obvious, that's on you, but the major complaint across the board regarding Andor, online, from critics, and from plenty of my acquaintances, is that it's poorly paced. This caused many to just lose interest. It's a matter of keeping the content interesting.... Not just throwing shit on a screen to fill time. I hesitate to describe which episodes and parts of the story drag due to spoilers, but it most definitely drags and has far too much filler. It's well shot, has a decent enough story, is extremely well acted, and it thankfully re-grounds the Star Wars universe and has begun to restore my faith in how Disney might handle the franchise going forward after it's colossal screwups.......BUT....... It definitely has pacing issues and could have easily told that same story more effectively in about 8 episodes rather than 12. It also might have gotten better viewership numbers had it done so.🙄

The hate She-hulk got came from those that either didn't understand the source material, didn't like being the butt of the jokes, or just hate female led properties. It's not actually that clever, you see what you do is write things in the comments enough times and she takes it on as a suggestion. And what we have here is the result in which there's tonnes of content, Jessica Jones didn't perform that well, and she has decided to put things in polls to make sure there is still interest in this multi year project of TV shows when she is deciding to continue with it. I watched She-hulk and as much of RoP as I could stomach, which wasn't much. She hulk is actually a lot of fun, unlike RoP, and a lot the negative reviews for She-Hulk come from people with a agenda, the kind of people who use terms like M-She-U. From what I've seen of those people they don't ever give a show with a female lead an honest chance. Hell, I saw people on YT giving negative reviews of both Ms. Marvel and She-Hulk based on their trailers.

As far as reactions channels "struggling" goes, a drop off in numbers was pretty much inevitable. Reaction channels blossomed during the height of the covid lockdown, and as both the novelty wore off and and covid restrictions were removed, a drop off for all reaction channels was a forgone conclusion.

Once again some people seem to think that reactors are just doing this for fun and don't care about views (money). Regardless whether they enjoy doing reactions or not, ad revenue from YT is always going to be a major factor in their decisions to do a show and also to continue a show. While some reactors will throw their patrons a bone in the form of a less popular show/movie on patreon now and then, none will do it consistently, nor should anyone blame them as they would be basically throwing money away. For instance, I would be surprised if many of the reactors who did Rings of Power S1 will continue with with season 2, considering how the numbers dropped off for that series.

I love the old show! He comes out of boxes that creak in the show, yeah. But doesn’t come out completely. So you never know if he’s attached to anything more. Also Lurch was a lot better, and more involved. Pugsley was the OLDER brother- so he was more in charge of Wednesday... Uncle Fester was the UNCLE not the brother to Gomez. It's YET ONE MORE attempt for Tim Burton to exorcise that stop-motion Addams Family movie he didn't get to do, by taking the only thing Tim-boiz remember about the 90's Barry Sonnenfeld movie, and obsessing over it. (Both Tim and Bryan Singer wanted to do the Addams as goth-icons/gay-metaphor, but the Broadway musical held on to the rights.) Any of the Christina Ricci acolytes...you are not prepared for the original 60's B&W series. Wait, What?? There is a tv show about Wednesday Addams? That has my curiosity peaked. It could be great, it could be terrible (idk I never heard about it till now), but at least the potential for greatness is there. Edit: I know what people are thinking.. How can I not know about so many new shows. Simple answer. The world we live in makes it nearly Impossible to look up new shows/movies without spoiling the entire experience with far too much information. Even most trailers nowadays include almost every main twist, reveal, and story arc of the whole story. So I choose not to look up anything. When something new just so happens to fall in my lap, like just now, or on an internet page I happen to be scrolling past I see it and go watch it. For the most part I get to enjoy it spoiler free like we all did in the old days before internet became what it is.

Andor is a great show but it really takes its time to get going. Wednesday is funny from the first episode and just keeps going. Also Wednesday is a complete story arch and doesn’t require watching additional seasons. She Hulk is the funnier than Miss Marvel, but I think you would want to do more Daredevil before She Hulk.

I hope Nat doesn't waste her limited time with them, ever. Daredevil Season 2 may get to see the light of day eventually. Hopefully before the new Daredevil series comes out.

The pacing of 'Andor' is so refreshing. In a lesser show conflicts and resolutions would have been achieved in 15 minutes like in The Mandalorian. Instead we get to live in them and truly experience the scenarios over the course of multiple episodes.

Andor deserves a watch, not just becz it takes place 5 years before Rogue-One & New hope, but because it has been the best series of character stories plots, story arcs & a magnificent finale. It's hard for anybody to root for Cassian Andor, but when u do look deeper into his story u root for him with all your heart. In my opinion, he's the true spark of the rebellion for everybody in star wars.

Just because they r still governed by British rule, nobody else should watch any story which even makes a small reference to British colonization or the story of independence. I like Andor as well..... But excusing bad pacing by calling it a "slow burn" is kind of laughable. It's just bad pacing. It's a show that easily could have told it's story far better, while keeping viewer interest and being just as entertaining, with about four less episodes than it ran for.
