Help me pick a holiday movie!

Title says it all :) I know there's A LOT of movies in this poll. I'm only doing one Christmas movie this year so that's why I threw a lot of choices into this poll.

Stay tuned for a sci fi movie poll later this week!

Comments

I always watch rom coms in the season. Dont really watch them the rest of the year but they just feel right this time of year.

Cripkie

The Green Knight (2021)

Matt D

Rare Exports lol

Rudewalrus

This poll is an insult to Muppets Christmas Carol. If you haven't seen it watch it NOW.

Ivari Tölp

Can't recommend the full version of Muppet Christmas Carol enough. It's listed under "Extras" on the Disney+ menu.

Andrew Harrison

I'm always in favor of A Muppet Christmas Carol; it's been my favorite version of A Christmas Carol since I was a kid, and now that the full version of the film is finally available on Disney+ there's never been a better time to watch it. I'm irritated that the full version of the film is listed as an extra instead of just being the version of the film on Disney+, but at least it's finally there for people to see.

Sylvaine Glenn

if you haven't seen klaus and you voted for muppet carol... i hate you lol

Simon Bauer

Bless us all who gather here

Ed Green

im so happy the muppets won its very surprising

Liliana

How a Muppet Christmas Carol is winning is beyond me. The movie is horrible

Chuck Eberhart

My favourite is Santa Claus: The Movie

Lana Hands

Scrooged with Bill Murray

Daniel Vezina

Looks like you support 6 different reactions channels and follow 63 others. I can't imagine how you find the time to complain especially about lack of content when you must have at least a couple of posts a day from various creators.

Rich House

I think there's a good chance it will be the week after next as Stranger Things final episode is super long

Rich House

For those who don't know or have forgotten remember nat is Jewish so we're lucky she's reacting to anything Christmasy at all lol I appreciate her for that, also if you're wondering that might explain why during her GOTG Christmas special her reaction isn't over the top "yay look at all the fun Christmas decorations, I love Christmas music" etc. Im just glad she reacts to anything Christmasy at all 😁

dieselbeast

whens arcane coming back

Cameron Navarro

Any movie that happens to take place on or around Christmas = Christmas Movie!

Richard Maurer

Iron Man 3 = Christmas Movie

Richard Maurer

Scrooged would be a good choice too if there is somewhere it's streaming.

Essero Eson

Glad to see the Muppets winning. It's a Wonderful Life is really good though. You should see it even if you don't film a reaction.

Joe Blankenship

Awful movies choices but then again there are only so many good christmas movies. Krampus shouldve been added horror christmas movie wouldve been fun.

juan calderon

As far as I'm concerned, the new one doesn’t exist. The first two are the only two.

jamie jones

Jingle SNAP. You'd like Home Alone 2, Lost in New York better then the first one. And for a classic, you can't go wrong with A Christmas Carol starring Alastair Sim as Scrooge! Put them on your 'nice' list for next year!

MertzRocks

Yes, but I think Nat said she is gonna slim uploads this month due to traveling. (keyword{s}: Think

devin flynn

Original Robocop is a great watch! The new one I'll pass on though.

Logan Kerlee

I'd love to watch a reaction for Gremlins! That film's so much fun. I love it.

Logan Kerlee

So you are just a lunatic, yes?

FullMetal B

I think it’s the reduced schedule, I think she said 3 posts a week so a movie tomorrow and that’ll be it.

Ryan

Red Letter Media reviewed some really awful Christmas cartoons- the 🎄 Christmas Tree 🎄or something like that... watch those! 😉 I would rather watch Fiddler on the Roof! (If I can’t wait for Easter to watch it).

James Quinn

Wondering if this is patreon or part of the reduced schedule for december

larshans

Ok. Carry on 😅😅😅

James Quinn

lawlZ; did Patreon Shit itself again, or is she just not releasing anything 2day...... ? Either way IDC, cuzz it's probz DOGSHIT arcane again, if she is....... Just Fucking hilarious how patreon's going the way of twatter lately...

Diiirk706

And I was responding to "Dave A", not you. Perhaps I should have @'d him (fixed that now). He's the one that compared them and said we'd start liking "The Polar Express" better as time passes. I've edited my posts to clarify who I was responding to, and correct the mistake where I thought I was still responding to @Dave A, not realizing you had jumped into the middle of it.

Thomas Yanez

No I didn’t say stop-motion. You’re reading the wrong comment. I said old and outdated, but YOU made that connection to “claymation” stuff. I know what those movies are- they are not CREEPY, they are Xmas fun for everyone.

James Quinn

@Dave A mentioned the "stop-motion Christmas movies" and I just referenced the most popular/successful producer of such. I don't see the comparison, since those movies (his reference) were loved and not considered "creepy". That is why we still look fondly on them. I don't see "The Polar Express" surmounting the self-inflicted zombie plague that should have been obvious to the producers from the first samples of completed renderings. Edit : updated to reflect I was responding to @Dave A, not OP.

Thomas Yanez

Ed O'Neil is fantastic.

Boomcity

Batman Returns = best Christmas movie

James Quinn

Is English your first language? I didn’t say anything about Rankin/ Bass... that’s not the same type of ANIMATION at all! The key word here is ccccooooommmmmmpppppppuuuuuuutttttttteeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrr animation. Hand drawn cartoon animation is the best. It always will be. This CGI stuff sucks (well, it isn’t for me).

James Quinn

@Dave A I don't agree. We didn't look at the Rankin/Bass era movies as being "creepy" at the time, and we still don't. They were loved then and are still loved. "The Polar Express" shouldn't have tried to go realistic with the humans. The technology simply wasn't there (and arguably isn't there yet (at least, for cost-effective film production)) and there were already plenty of examples (just look at Pixar's pre-2004 movies) of ways you could make a great CG movie without taking the audience into the uncanny valley. Edit : Added @ for "Dave A" to clarify post's intended target.

Thomas Yanez

I feel like someday it'll be looked at fondly, how we look at the stop-motion Christmas movies now, but that's not today. Today it sits hard in the uncanny valley.

Dave A

Never ever watch Polar Express. It has this old outdated computer animation style that looks like unholy unliving zombie creatures from hell. All copies of it should be destroyed forever!

James Quinn

Yes. District 9 took me by surprise if I'm honest. I slept on it for the longest time

Adam

Elf!

Tim Keating

It's a Bruce Willas movie.

Mastervodo

I LOVE Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas! Oh man, that would have won on the poll today for sure!

Mastervodo

I keep on forgetting about Gremlins, this is the second time someone has reminded me of it being set during Christmas. I'll probably host a watch party for it.

Ernesto

Adam sandler's 8 crazy nights

devin flynn

Bad Santa needs to be on this list

Thomas Myers

add Die Hard, that is Xmas movie

Tony Ngo

For a suggestion not in the list - Jingle All The Way with Arnold Schwarzenegger. I'm serious.

Laura Thornley

Maybe Krampus? hehe

Luis Camacho

For sci-fi poll please include robocop and district 9.

jamie jones

For next years: ARTHUR CHRISTMAS ❤️❤️❤️

Elle

How have you not seen A Christmas Story? It is, and I cannot stress this enough, a must.

History Nuggets

Rise of the Guardians is a good one

JarHead0351

It's A Wonderful Life is the ultimate must-see Xmas movie.

sarCC

That's a solid tradition. Introducing my son to Die Hard, for the first time, in a couple weeks!

daquake

Loved Gremlins growing up. Finally had a chance to see it in a theater a few years back.

daquake

Muppets for the win!!!

Byron

I always watch Die Hard on Xmas eve, then Scrooged on Xmas day.

David Weinstein

The night before

jamie jones

All good choices, but my personal favorite Christmas movie is 'Arthur Christmas'. I watch it every year. ...I also watch 'The Hogfather' every year, but that has to be listed under my favorite Hogswatch movie. 😉

Benjamin Preston

Agreed we need to get reactors on The Ref

Charity Konusser (the chonus)

I think I speak for all of us when I say "A Madea Christmas" is missing from the list

Yasin

Ref. ‘It's A Wonderful Life’ Batman: “You know, I've never seen that. I could never get past The title.” – Christmas with the Joker (Batman: The Animated Series)

Rev.J

KLAUS! Please! You wont regret it, the best spin on the christmas tale

Elmo

Gremlins is pretty good.

Richard Maurer

honestly Gremlins was great from what I remember haha

Natalie Gold

Call me the Grinch, but I don't care about Christmas movies. So I voted for Gremlins as it's the least Christmasy movie here.

Richard Maurer

Just watched Muppet Christmas Carol, so I have to go with A Christmas Story, which is my favorite Xmas movie.

Kevin Mowery

The absolute best rendition of A Christmas Carol is the one from 1984 with George C. Scott.

Megatto

Gremlins and Gremlins 2. Then Drop Dead Fred. I'm a huge Phoebe Cates fan. Shame she retired so young.

Jordan Love

F'n-a right it is!

Jordan Love

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang! You'll LOVE it. Robert Downey Jr says it's the best film he's ever made.

Kevin Maguire

Klaus is not only a solid story, but an excellent example of beautiful animation. A Muppet Christmas Carol is a solid pick as well.

Andrew Howard

The Ref (1994)! For some reason, hardly anyone knows about this, but it is such a fantastic holiday movie!

David Sumner

Klaus is suuuuper underrated. I hope it gets picked. It’s so good.

djKENTO

There's magic in the air this evening

Ed Green

There a lot of good movies in this poll though! 😁

Yani Dodge

This is a stacked poll! Couldn't get into Polar Express as a kid but the rest are great.

JayyDTR

I’d love a reaction to 8 crazy nights

JefftheMaverick

If you’ve never seen it’s a wonderful life maybe consider adding it in as a bonus it’s so good

Michael Patrick

It's a Wonderful Life is so beautiful, it makes me cry every time

Philip J. Music

I would love for you to watch Behind Her Eyes. It's only one season and it's on netflix

Jennifer Barroso

Great list but I'd personally go with A Christmas Story. Just a personal favorite of mine, but as I said, hard to play favorites with so many great classics on the list.

Brian Jones

Muppet Christmas Carol and It's a Wonderful Life are necessities for Christmas movie watching

TGrimace

Klaus is beautiful, visually and storywise, I hope you'll be able be able to watch it soon!

Yani Dodge

I'll always vote A Christmas Story, but I'm not mad Muppet Christmas Carol is winning. Also, Muppet Christmas Carol is currently making the rounds with some reactors, so there's a boost from that too.

Tony Sanson

Jim Henson getting some love? I'm cool with that.

JayF

The town I grew up in was Jimmy Stewarts old home. It goes all out for Its a Wonderful Life every year so Im aalways down for that classic

Joshua Kon

Wow. Muppets in the lead? Not mad about it. Just surprising.

PickettsChargingPort

Polar express is my favorite christmas movie, I understand why people don't wanna see it but I really wish they did

A2Rhombus

It's a Wonderful Life by a mile!

David Crabtree

Adding another suggesstion for a little known gem of a movie,"Trapped in Paradise" is a comedy Xmas movie with feels as well. Have a great holiday season Nat.

Athenor

Klaus!!

Alex B

I know It's a Wonderful Life is the classically overrated holiday film, but it's still one one my absolute favorites. That may be my love of Jimmy Stewart talking though.

Andrew Fadner

Definitely gotta be The Muppet Christmas Carol. It's my favorite adaptation of the story, mostly because Michael Caine is my all-time favorite Scrooge. His performance is magnificent. He will break your heart in all the best ways.

Patrick Egan

All great choices Looking forward to it!

Nathaniel Castle

Klaus is a new classic and the best film on this list (yes I said it)

Mike Hell

Klaus is outstanding and I wish I could vote for it 100 times

Jamie Mulholland

I don't care what the internet says about uncanny valley, the polar express was my favorite christmas movie growing up.

Katie Kiesel

Muppet Christmas Carol is maybe my favorite Christmas movie of all time. And now that they are restoring the Love is Gone to D+ on Dec. 11th, it's a great time to watch it

Tay Schumaker

I'm throwing in a plea for 'Love Actually', although I voted for 'Christmas Story'. Both these films are now firmly in the popular lexicon with scenes included in current onair commercials. Watch these movies and you too can be like Steve Rogers and Get that Reference!

Ken Mazur

I didn’t vote for it, and I’m not a Christmas type, but it’s a wonderful life is fantastic

Rory cornetto

Never any love for Emmet Otter...

Thomas Yanez

Klaus!!!!

Simon Bauer

Ooo gremlins or muppets that is the question lol

Rey

Klaus is so dang underrated

Ron H

Muppet Christmas Carol is a classic but throwing some love Klaus’ way because a colleague of mine animated on it.

David Trumble

The music being everywhere is obnoxious to me.

Jason Gillman

Oh hell yes; Muppets Christmas Carol is probably my favorite version of the story, stoked that it's winning! That said, A Christmas Story is probably a must-see eventually, maybe next year.

Erik Stevenson

Muppet Christmas Carol is THE Christmas Movie. A must watch.

PiratedTVPro

Muppet Christmas Carol is a gem! Michael Caine is great, the songs are catchy and Gonzo and Rizzo are hilarious.

Joe Blankenship

Gremlins, easily. But I hate Christmas so this is an easy choice for me.

Jason Gillman

You need to see (if you haven’t already) the musical version of Scrooge from 1970 starring Albert Finney and Sir Alec Guinness. It’s a yearly thing for me and one of the few movies to cause me to cry.

Eric James

Happy Wednesday, Natalie! 😊 This was such a tough choice for this one. Ultimately, "Gremlins" ended up getting my vote. Have a great day today! 😊 Stay Golden! 💛

Randee Carreno

I feel like Klaus would be winning by a landslide if most voters had seen it; it's one of the best Christmas movies ever made and my heart hurts seeing it losing to Muppets.

NerdyGothKitty

Hoping Klaus wins. It's the sort of uplifting movie that Nat will love.

Kunarian

The Muppet Christmas Carol is my favorite Christmas Movie 🎄 I know it's unlikely to win, but I'd be so thrilled

Josh W

Same. It's our Xmas eve traditional movie every year!

Jessi

Gremlins is must see! Loved muppets and Christmas story later on but good choices overall

Jose Nuño

Gremlins is my favourite Christmas movie, and I would love to watch it along with you Nat and seeing your reaction would be awesome. Jerry Goldsmith is my favourite composer, and his score for Gremlins is just amazing. You've only watched one other Jerry scored movie on your channel and that's Alien. We need to add more! he he Have a great Wednesday Nat 💛

Darryl Low

Gremlins! It's great and it's sequel is something out of this world.

Cole Crouse

This is tough but I gotta go A Christmas Story just to get Nat's Christmas commentary after watching her Guardians Special reaction.

Jason Dolan

Wish Spirited was on the list ✌️

Trish Murphy

All y’all Gremlins voters (including me) are getting coal in your stockings

Ben Wheeler

You're making me pick only one Christmas movie?! 😱😱

Elisa H.

Gotta go Muppets!

Boomcity

Muppet Christmas Carol is my favorite Christmas movie.

Garrett Wolf

Klaus is incredibly underrated!
