As for that titty show you were talking about whatever it's called, unless I get to go home who one of them, I don't see the point. Not a fan of looky no touchy.

2023-01-12 16:57:22 +0000 UTCThe show is not sponsored by imagine dragons lol, I have no idea where you got that idea from, imagine dragons are however huge fans of league of legends and have a long history with riot and league (they are league players themselfs) , that why they agreed to do this, them being in the show is just a homage to them, I doubt they asked for it, And the song just fits extremly well to the story (they wrote it for the show) and especially to that scene.

Almost all animation, especially the game themed anime, all have unnaturally huge titties. It was nice to see a wide range of assets in the characters and none outrageously displayed or sized. It was presently surprising.

If you want to argue something such as the song doesn't fit with the style you would expect to be played within Zaun, or the lyrics have no meaning to the scene, or the band members don't match the look of everyone else then that could have some value. But 'Imagine Dragons bad' is just one of the laziest opinions on the internet.

I'm not going to say it's my favourite scene, in fact it could be the worst scene in the whole show and still be perfectly fine. It serves it's purpose, transition between Jinx & Silco to the Vi & Sevika fight and establish what Marcus, Mel, Jayce and Viktor are dealing with. You could make some arguments as to what is wrong with it but just it being Imagine Dragons is not it.

2022-12-19 23:50:25 +0000 UTCThis is my favorite episode. For me, it's the most subtle episode in the first season because of how it weaves back and forth between everyone. Other episodes have better action, better music, better shots, better dialogue, or better voice acting, but this episode stands out to me for how simple everything is. And when I watched it the first time, I was so invested in the story and the art that Imagine Dragons were the last thing on my mind; I didn't even notice them because I often forget what they look like and was simply riding on the vibes. Woodkid has been in my playlists since 2012, and I couldn't believe it when they showed up in the next episode. I think that guy serving Vi food in this episode is probably my favorite character, ngl.

I was thrilled when I found out they designed that character's look off the real guy who plays the violin solo in the score for the episode.

2022-12-19 22:54:59 +0000 UTCIt should be said that while Marcus did imprison Vi, and it's fucked up she was in there so long, he did it for multiple reasons. He wanted to correct his mistakes, so he went out of his way to make sure Silco didn't kill her, but he also still had the responsibility of arresting the culprits for the break-in during the first episode. I feel like many people overlook that fact. He saved Vi while also tying up loose ends, and it probably was the only option he believed he could take once that thought occurred to him. Silco only took over the Undercity because the enforcers were pulled out after Vi was arrested. This isn't a spoiler because they never explain it, but I'm sure the writers of the show made sure the logic all made sense, and I think people appreciate certain details that are more upfront and apparent, but forget how every story line affects all the others, in more ways than the show bothers to explain.

2022-12-19 22:51:55 +0000 UTChaha i agree the Imagine Dragons thing was a bit silly but it was not unexpected as they have worked with Riot on this stuff before, i believe as others have said the song was made for the show specifically. i appreciate that even though i personally enjoyed it, they kept it short in the show, but you were right on the money there is, in fact, a full music video haha im glad you felt like you wanted to keep saying Powder too, and you're right, its a really interesting look at mental health and untreated trauma also i understand many hate Markus quickly, and i dont blame them, but i love that this show has him because hes a great example of someone who wanted to do good, and got tangled doing bad and has no idea how to reverse it in the first 3 eps we see he really over the top trying to fight those responsible because he believed the propaganda of the trenchers were all criminals, and he learnt the hard way that Silco was the worst of the worst, and i LOVE that in this ep we see how thats affecting him, from visiting the tomb, to keeping the blood stained coin, even wishing he could end it and take silco with him, but he has a daughter, and thats where everything become complicated, Markus hasnt done good, but take the imprisoning Vi and telling silco he killed her, hes trying, he didnt want to kill Vi but Silco obviously wanted her dead, doesn't excuse what he did of course, but that the point, every character in this show is complicated and has shades of grey and i LOVE IT haha i apologise for the wall of text lol

Imagine Dragons are fans of League of Legends and they've worked with Riot before in creating "Warriors" for the League World finals. Riot giving them a cameo, while a bit silly, is probably just a fun thank you.

She was able to figure out how hextech works using nothing but scraps and notes. Had she been born in Piltover she likely would have been recognized for her genius, but because she was born in the undercity she was always criticized for not being street smart 😔

I wonder if she noticed that Sevika's arm was blown off in Ep 3 in the same explosion that took everybody else out? I wonder if she noticed that the symbol the big fishmonger guy gave VI on the note he slipped her matched the little "peephole" for the brothel they went to? There was another little detail I saw this episode when Marcus was talking to Silco. He was nervously tapping his left leg while sitting there, and the Foley artists even included the sound!

The intro being "ehh" with imagine dragons is one thing, but this music video randomly in the episode was a horrible choice haha.

2022-12-19 18:28:46 +0000 UTCLOL there actually is a music video for the song Enemy which is normally recommended viewing after episode 7 but you don't need to watch it to enjoy the show. The one issue I always have with this episode (okay two if you count the weird space banging) is that Jinx never actually saw anyone die, so it's strange that she gets flashes of it. But it's a miniscule gripe. The show is still great.

But afterwards as I learned that Riot’s actual talent lies not in making video games but in Music Video production I became more forgiving of it, it’s still cheesy as all hell but its well done cheese so I can let it slide.
