I just remembered that Hailee Steinfeld in the Hawkeye show threw shade at Imagine Dragons and here he she is playing Vi.

David Lonewolf Wright

Except she was reacting to someone eating a rat, not the homeless themselves.. Eating rats is pretty eww no matter who's doing it.

Linus Marjeta

you recognized the guys voice down in the slumps cuz he was the guy on the receiving end of a bad deal in episode 1 and he got protected by Vander

Mathies

why lol

Mathies

you need to get Vi's name right by the time the series ends lmao. It's "Vi" rhymes with "high" and is short for "Violet"

rayman

I literally saw a reaction channel(not gonna say who) go like "Oh, V I, like 6 ... wow" xD and there I was thinking "6 what? Please elaborate on this... "

Javier Vara

It's not like she's reading the name Vi and pronouncing it wrong, she's hearing the characters say it and still pronouncing it wrong lol just one of those things.

Chris H

Love this series so much. My first time watching through I remember this episode leaving a mark. The scene with Jinx/Powder lighting the beacon really hit me. I just love how melodramatic and passionate it is. The music swells, Milo and Clagger on her back, and Milo almost looks to be singing the song. The whole sequence is so intentional and well edited. I love how sincere this series is. It never winks at you or ruins a scene with bathos. It's nice to see something so well animated and produced wear its heart on its sleeve.

Myles Away

Arcane is quite hard on the heart. I get you, Nat. But it's a beautiful journey!

Ana Fox

That's what I figured. Thanks for the clarification!

Boomcity

Only the general schedule for December where she said she's traveling so a reduced amount of reactions all month :)

Danishprince

Nice! Thanks Mastervodo!

Boomcity

Interstellar

Mastervodo

Yeah, this episode is sucker punch in the gut. And the sequence at the end!! 😭 I'm an older sister so I relate really hard to Vi as well, and I just feel so sad for both of them. Powder's been imprisoned in her mind and Vi's been imprisoned both physically and mentally for the same amount of time, neither able to be there for the person they care the most about 😭

Yani Dodge

I keep thinking it's Friday, wondering what movie is on deck.

Joe Blankenship

Did Nat ever drop a schedule for this week? Obviously, with the holidays going on, I didn't know what we could expect.

Boomcity

Well it’s better than calling her Six, because you know VI . In Roman numerals.

Wild_Lee_Coyote

The is my favorite episode and it has such excellent emotional haymakers throughout: Heimerdinger's retirement, the Flare Scene/Vi meeting Silco, Vi and Jinx's reunion, and the final battle. If episode 3 was all shock and awe, episode 6 cuts to the bone emotionally.

Robert Bonfante

Honestly, nearly every reactor I've seen had a positive reaction to Caitlyn. Heimerdinger gets mixed responses (for me, he's an interesting yet flawed character).

Robert Bonfante

TBF, the last time Caitlyn saw Jinx, she had blown up several of her co-workers and stolen her friend's Hextech crystal. Plus, Caitlyn could've had the best timing in the world and Jinx still would've lost it seeing her. Jinx is a massively unstable character that has no one looking out for her mental health.

Robert Bonfante

One of my favorite scenes from the series.

Com1xguy

The Mel painting scene really is working overtime with the amount of information about the characters it's able to convey

Rich House

Yeah I'm not okay after this episode.. Seeing the pain Powder is in and has been for a decade.. Constantly haunted by the ghosts of her brothers that she carries around with her would mess up anyone.. Such an incredible character!

Danishprince

No poll? why live

devin flynn

Kinda odd Nat can remember "Kiramman" and not "Vi". It's right on her face!

Mastervodo

Kiramman is Caitlyn's last name, i'm pretty sure Nat just calls her Kiramman because it's what her enforcer name is

alejandro

On the names I know you have been having problems with Vi. Vi is short for Violet, you get it in episode 3 when Powder calls her Violet right after Vander dies. It’s her last desperate attempt to reach her sister. Just remember all the Violet Violence this show has. Also it’s Kaitlyn not Kiramin. I know it can be hard when you get the wrong name stuck in your head. Just trying to help for future reviews.

Wild_Lee_Coyote

In terms of editing, I love all of those parts, also the song drop as she lifts the flare is soo good! Some little details I noticed on this time around was how each firelight is very aware of the others and try and distract the sisters whenever a companion goes down. Also, imagine if Jinx had shot Vi in this scene, I wonder what would have happened then...

Yani Dodge

Right? Like when Kaitlyn and VI slide down that tube, cut with the enforcer loading bullets into their rifle? Or the bit where the camera is panning around Jinx, and the "ghosts" of Milo and Claggor are there? Any bits in particular that stood out for you?

Mastervodo

A beautiful reaction, love that you're getting caught up in the beautiful editing and character work!

Yani Dodge

Uh-huh! I have pretty neutral feelings about Jayce and Heimerdinger, but I really like Cait and I'm glad Nat's been invested in her :)

Yani Dodge

She didn't just hug Huck, she really meant it. You could tell she wasn't just doing it to thank him. She has much to learn, but she cares, and she's soaking everything in.

pedantech

Thank you for not trying to not cry. Nothing makes me more upset than seeing people actively try to prevent themselves from crying while watching something. It makes no sense. You're having an emotional reaction. Let yourself be. It's normal. I cry just about every time I see this scene, with them reuniting, the end of episode 3, and many other scenes as well. And it's so important to normalize that and let people know that it's OK.

Dervorin

Sevika lost her arm because of Powder's bomb in episode 3, she pushed Silco out of the way and you can see her arm destroy in the explosion. The sick man with glasses is the man who Vander help in the first episode because some peoples were going to cheat him of his money.

David Bourgeois

+1

Javier Vara

The more we near the end of the season the more I fear I'll have a second post-season depression over this one ^_^u

Javier Vara

Not to sound too obsessed (I am), but this show does have alot of details that they treat you to upon rewatch. It's really a series that I think succeeds in multiple facets: the voice acting, the 'camera' work and scenes, parallels and payoffs in the narrative, and dialogue and musical choices (some are less than others, hehe). Glad for an excuse to rewatch it with Nat too! It's neat to see what she comments on/her perspective on what's happening.

Rabbid Dawg

I forgot how good the show actually was. All i could remember from watching it when it was new was that it was League based

devin flynn

Yeah it's a shame a few rotten apples made such chaos on here and while I can surely understand people being turned away from something if they see the fans behaving toxic. Luckily it didn't scare away Nattie because it was mostly the same person that kept making new accounts for some reason

Danishprince

I'm glad you've enjoyed it; I was curious how the reaction would be from the patrons here after several...interesting poll interactions.

Micah Zimmer

3rd act is the best too! Everything building to the ending no one predicted! Man. I wish we all could just chat with Nat for a couple hours after she is finished watching it all, asking her questions and talking about everything from the art, music, things she missed, etc... That would be fan-tastic. (See what I did there?)

Mastervodo

Caitlyn is naive and does have terrible timing in this episode. I don't think her naivety is something we can blame her for since her folks actively shielded her from 'the real world' despite what seems like Caitlyn's best efforts. Arcane shows how she's still earnestly trying to learn and she has a good heart just in this eps too: hugging Huck without really knowing who he is but seeing his struggle and trying to understand Vi ('I suppose topside is the cause for all your problems'/'We're people too'). They could've written her as an obsessed cop that just wants to get to the bottom the 'Conspiracy', but I think they've taken a more nuanced approach to her character. She could've left a dirty, Undercity criminal (Vi) to rot while she continued her investigation at this point. Her timing sucks sure, but I think seeing her be such a wet blanket between eps 5 and this one allows us to see the potential she has to grow. If you aren't seeing the narrative between Vi and Caitlyn too, it's fine, but I can assure you that it isn't just a fan ship. These interactions were intended to show romantic interest between the two, writers and the creators of the show specifically had these scenes of eps. and 5 and 6 to express their respective interests. (Tweets from them all confirm that this was silly they had to state this) You can miss out on it because it's not heavy handed (it's amazing storytelling cuz sometimes gay stories must be hamfisted to be understood), but there was a point in showing Caitlyn with a woman at the brothel, Vi telling her that she's hot and pinning her to the wall, and a lingering shot of Caitlyn watching Vi come down from the potion's effects. If it's easier, imagine a guy/lady doing those same scenes. They're not dating, but there are obvious drops that they're at the very least interested in each other.

Rabbid Dawg

And Huck, the guy that rats Vi and Caitlyn out to Silco, was in episode 1. He was in The Last Drop, making a deal. Vander helped him out when the buyers tried to screw him over on the payment.

pedantech

Your comment made me cackle lol

iskeirim

This was another great reaction. Its super fun to see Natalie have such a different reaction toHeimerdinger and Caitlyn that other people.

Joshua Kon

This show is so good and I'm already sad that's it's almost over :D

Danishprince

People keep shipping Vi and Kathelyn but holy crap the ending pissed me off and made me kind of not like her much haha

Philippe Dessaints

Out of context this is a pretty confusing sentence lol

Philippe Dessaints

If I'm not mistaken 'Vi' is short for Violet. Watching episode 5 in case you sorted that out already. Catching up!

adrianR31

This is Awesome!!! Ty

Jayson Phillips

Fav quote from this episode: "I don't think it's going to be as simple as this happy reunion, you know?" Literally 2 seconds from "not simple" coming up the stairs.

Mastervodo

Totally agree.

Mastervodo

Tear Tier Two Achieved! Tear Tier Tres coming in Three Tube Takes! Top Tier Tears from Top Nugget!

Mastervodo

a couple of details i think you missed Nat. They're not spoilers just things that are easy to miss. The girl that appears at the beginning looking at yong victor is Sky. His and Jayce's assistant in the present. The doctor is the one that created the shimmer for Silco. And Rio is the original source of shimmer, hence the importance to "save the mutation".

oscar latorre

I am so ready for all the tears!! Can't wait to watch with you 😁

Yani Dodge

I love how every reactor goes "eww" when they first see the homeless affected by shimmer, then "aww" after Vi humanizes them. "It's where the kind of people you topsiders don't want to think about wind up."

pedantech

Wish she had listened to the song during the credits. It's so good.

pedantech

Oh cool I thought Tuesday would be Wednesday, this is a pleasant surprise.

Ryan

Happy Tuesday Nat. Been looking forward to watching your next Arcane reaction all day 😊 Damn this show hits you in the heart. Thanks for an awesome video today Nat 💛

Darryl Low

Daniel Molina
