Yes. This is how reaction viewership works. You watch reactions to your favorite videos. Making it sound like the viewer is selfish for that is completely ridiculous. Looks like The Boys is going to win. Good show. I just never could get past the gore. I did like the concept and the characters. It was just too gross for me. I do hope you get to both Band of Brothers and Andor at some point. BoB is probably my favorite series of all time. Andor is 2 or 3 on my favorites of this year. I've never heard of White Lotus so can't really recommend that.

I love BG but I've recently been watching another reaction channel doing it and I have to say it's not working that well as a reaction - kind of boring. Also not getting that many YT views, about 9k an episode. While Natalie would most likely do better (both her reaction and her YT numbers), I don't know if it would justify the time it would take.

Word of warning regarding The Boys - its... uh, let's say... graphic. Very enjoyable show, but not for the faint of stomach. Band of Brothers is incredible but also harrowing (as you might expect from a WW2 series). Andor is just the best Star Wars has ever been and is also deceptively deep and heartfelt.

One of the things I've come to realize about many of (if not most of) the patrons of reaction channels is that they care more about getting their personal favorites watched than anything else, even if they know those favorites would tank on YT. Watching the new season of Mando would be good for Nat's YT channel, I say go for it, even if there are things I personally would prefer over it.

Every time someone doesn't want a reactor to watch a series with more than one season they say it's too long. Can we stop this already. If a series is good I don't care if it's 10 seasons with 23 episodes a season they should watch it. Natalie generally watches two series a week, why not have one of them be a long one.

A reaction can still be enjoyable despite it being to something she has already seen. Just look at Indiana Jones, Stranger Things season 1 and Back to the Future. It's been years since she has watched it so she obviously can't remember all the small fun details in the first season and it's nice for her being up to date on the plot when moving on to the seasons she hasn't seen yet :)

Andor was not better than House of the Dragon, Ozark, or Severance. I guess it's the best thing Disney+ released this year, but that's about it. People are just freaking out because something Star Wars finally got good and compelling writing. If it wasn't set in the Star Wars universe, the story wouldn't be anything special or new.

The Expanse is a show that is written by and based on books that were all planned from the very beginning and are very much like Game of Thrones where you have to give the world time to breathe and build. In The Expanse's case, most people say to give it 4 episodes. Please try it again, maybe with a friend! It's one of the best shows ever made!

I'd like to propose, for whenever you're in the mood, "Designated Survivor" starring Kiefer Sutherland (3 seasons) and "Queen's Gambit" (one season). But, most of all, the best series I've seen in many years: "The Blacklist," starring James Spader and a cast of thousands (10 seasons). It's terrific.

I'm conflicted because I've kinda been jonesing for another Boys rewatch so this is great timing, but BoB is an amazing experience, especially if she hasn't seen it. 20 years old and still the quintessential WW2 story. Start with White Lotus because it has a great atmosphere, great cast, it is funny, it has a mistery, and the character story lines are great and interesting to think about. Overall it is an uplifting show. Its only 6-7 episodes per season so you can get to the end very fast. After that you can start the Boys. That is a very different show. It has a very dark humor, but also a mistery.

The voting on this site is all over the place and depends on what's in the poll (and how that poll is worded) more than anything else. Not gonna lie I don’t know if Mr. Robot would be for Nat. Nothing against her I love her style of reactions but she has a propensity for talking over what she watches and getting confused/missing things in complex stories and then getting flustered when she’s confused so I fear Mr. Robot might be a bit too confusing and hard to keep up with for the way Nat reacts to things. It is my favorite show of all time though and I wouldn’t complain if she did start it at some point.

Exactly this. I cannot think of a quicker way to smother a channel full of Gen-Z or young millennial views than committing a month and a half to marathoning The Wire, for instance, but man what a treat that would be. Mr. Robot, at least, is a more kinetic and visually arresting show.

Shame to see White Lotus so thoroughly buried here, it's really a good show. Might be a bit subtle for good reaction bait, though. The same, unfortunately, is probably true of Andor. The Boys gets a bit repetitive and is spinning its tires a little, but it should make for fantastic reaction fodder, especially if she's going in blind. I'd kill to see her react to at least one high end prestige TV series, such as The Wire, Sopranos, Mr. Robot, or Breaking Bad, but I realize that's probably never going to happen.

Agreed – two episode mini series is self contained enough to get a great impression of the show. Otherwise four seasons could be a bit much. I did an episode, or two, every week day last year. It took a couple of month to do all all the seasons. Also there is a particular order of all the productions (Seasons, ‘webisodes’ and TV movies), so it’s quite the task to get through it. If Nats looking for a single season show I think Andor would be the best option (I know there are plans for season 2 in 2024). If she's looking for a multi season show to binge watch the I think The Boys would be better especially as Nat has seen season 1 already.

While all of these shows are good, I'll never understand how Band of Brothers always polls low. It's so powerful and emotional. Hell, I can't even get through the opening credits without tearing up, and it's one of the few shows out there I'll actually let the opening credits play. Really think Nat should just watch it instead of putting it in a poll. Maybe closer to D-Day. That'll give me time to emotionally prepare. It also makes a great game of "spot the actor."
