It's finally time for this incredible show!! I truly am so stoked to be revisiting it and can't wait to dive into new seasons soon :)
For those that are watching this for the first time, I highly suggest watching this first season without me haha. I likely will mention spoilers or get excited for things I know are going to happen. Just want to keep my reactions honest and not stifle myself and I don't want to ruin this story for those that are completely new to it.

A lot's happened since then, so I'm hoping that'll make it more palatable to me. Either way, I'm hoping that watching it with you reacting will offset some of the horror. =D (That oftens works with actual horror movies, so...)

I like the comic, but a lot of shit in there just seems like it's there only for the shock factor, which ultimately waters down actually gruesome moments or crazy character driven story beats.

May not be NEW for her but it'll be an entertaining watch. If you're just not a fan of the series and you're wanting to rush through it - I guess that I understand. If that's the case though then I'd end the subscription until it's wrapped up then hop on back once fresh content for her is being seen. I'm aok with this - so I'll be watching and having fun while I'm at it. :)

It's hard to believe that you didn't watch seasons 2 and 3, but hey I'm stoked for whenever we get to those. :) This show's such a blast! Happy to have this one going. I remember this first episode just having that moment near the beginning that really sets a tone for the series and making it clear that 'this ain't your regular superhero series'. I could say the same for and recommend a show called 'Invincible', animated series also on Amazon prime
