Help me pick a Quentin Tarantino movie
Added 2023-01-19 17:00:04 +0000 UTCTitle says it all!
I've seen some of his films, although there are some I haven't seen or don't remember well and have included them here.
I'm intentionally not including Pulp Fiction as I've seen it multiple times (and love it) or Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (seen more recently and didn't love).

I cant think of a Tarantino film i didnt enjoy. Maybe Jackie Brown, but other than that they are all modern classics imo.
Cripkie
2023-01-27 07:11:00 +0000 UTCInglorious Bastards is his best movie imo but yeah watch Django
Eiden
2023-01-26 17:15:48 +0000 UTCPlus watching everything in order actually leads to watching Jackie Brown, which a lot of reactors skip or their audience never recommends. It's truly underrated in that regard, even though it's not his most amazing work.

2023-01-22 19:13:42 +0000 UTCI had to vote for Kill Bill, because is the best. But I guess Django is a better choice since you haven't watched it

2023-01-22 12:44:37 +0000 UTCIt's usually the Friday of the next week so most likely on the 27th :)
Danishprince
2023-01-21 22:03:20 +0000 UTCAny Idea as to when your reaction to the winner is gonna come out? Cant wait to see you react to Django Unchained!
samuel Jakob
2023-01-21 15:10:03 +0000 UTCDjango is arguably a better movie (although I still prefer RD). Resivoir Dogs should be now or very soon, it's just good to see where the world of Tarantino started.
Thomas Snyder
2023-01-21 11:04:10 +0000 UTCSweet. Now I hope she finishes Wednesday next week. Probably not but doesn’t hurt to hope.
jamie jones
2023-01-21 07:58:52 +0000 UTCLooks like Kill Bill is not gonna win but the combine movie outside of pulp fiction is my favorite Tarantino and needs to be remembered Natalie lol

2023-01-21 06:13:44 +0000 UTCReservoir dogs just started it all... so why not look how the Tarantino style started ;)
Alain
2023-01-21 02:33:05 +0000 UTCThat's awesome! Thank you
Bathu
2023-01-20 22:26:32 +0000 UTCYeah she talked about it on a stream yesterday - She will pick it up after Wednesday is done :)
Danishprince
2023-01-20 21:59:22 +0000 UTCDo we know if she might pick up the last of us? i think that'll be a good series in the future
Bathu
2023-01-20 19:47:51 +0000 UTCDjango is going to be crazy.
Bathu
2023-01-20 19:46:45 +0000 UTCYou should also watch the Hateful Eight! One of his less talked about movies, it’s really underrated in my opinion.
Chris Moon
2023-01-20 17:50:04 +0000 UTCShe saw OUATIH as she said above and didn't like it. It's an absolute slog of a movie. Not even Margot Robbie can save it for me.
REDR58
2023-01-20 16:25:57 +0000 UTCFor sure, Jackie Brown belongs on this list and at the top.
REDR58
2023-01-20 16:23:41 +0000 UTCI hope you’ll eventually get around to all of them!
Chris Moon
2023-01-20 15:02:46 +0000 UTCWritten by and starting doesn’t really qualify as a Tarantino movie. Fantastic as it is and as much I’d enjoy to see Nat react.
Harry Reece
2023-01-20 11:09:11 +0000 UTCYep. She literally said that in her post above the poll. Reading is fundamental Bobby
Harry Ballsak
2023-01-20 10:46:17 +0000 UTCyeah I want reaction channels to just sit down and watch a director’s entire filmography from beginning to end and chronologically to traCk their growth One summer , I watched thirty of Hitchcock’s films
AC5555
2023-01-20 08:37:58 +0000 UTCI hope she reacts to less famous films. 1930s to 1980s films. Foreign films
AC5555
2023-01-20 08:36:53 +0000 UTCI tend to love older movies . And by old I go back to 1930s to 60s
AC5555
2023-01-20 08:36:06 +0000 UTCI think it's best to watch QT in chronological order. Reservoir Dogs being the oldest on the list gets my vote. It has some of the unique camera techniques and storytelling devices that made QT, QT
Edward Rahardjo
2023-01-20 08:00:54 +0000 UTCI'd love Inglorious Bastards, but I think I prefer movies you haven't seen. Genuine first-reactions are a huge part of what makes watch-a-longs so appealing.
ThinkClint
2023-01-20 04:15:06 +0000 UTCShe said she didnt like it
jamie jones
2023-01-20 03:24:30 +0000 UTCI hope you do have Once Upon a Time in Hollywood on a poll one day.
Com1xguy
2023-01-20 02:06:50 +0000 UTCdjango is goated, undoubtably
luke
2023-01-20 02:03:32 +0000 UTCDjango is my favorite Tarantino movie b/c Christoph Waltz absolutely Steals the movie with his performance!
Alan Felicia
2023-01-20 01:54:17 +0000 UTCshe said she's watched it recently and didn't love it
alejandro
2023-01-19 23:51:50 +0000 UTCShould have included Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I voted Reservoir Dogs because Django, while a great movie, already has millions of reactions, and Kill Bill and Inglourious Basterds Nat has already seen.
Martin
2023-01-19 23:48:32 +0000 UTC“Once Upon a Time…In Hollywood” is an excellent choice for a later time I guess. I’m new here so I don’t know if you’ve done this film already.
Bobby Bates
2023-01-19 23:39:34 +0000 UTCIt was meh to me
The Dingo
2023-01-19 22:35:26 +0000 UTCGonna love Django
Peter Moe
2023-01-19 22:33:30 +0000 UTCi think reservoir dogs is the better movie, but i understand it's older
Dale Diaz
2023-01-19 22:26:53 +0000 UTCIf Quentin Tarantino is your goal, I suggest "From Dusk Til Dawn."
Tim Ostipow
2023-01-19 22:21:03 +0000 UTCI'm generally a big fan of whatever his latest release is -- Now that is Once Upon a Time... In Hollywood. Inglorious Basterds is my favorite of these, but you've seen it and that's often less fun that seeing your reaction to something anew. I'm less of a fan of the Kill Bill movies, something about the sword and kung foo world never held much appeal for me. So it comes down to Reservoir Dogs and Django. Both are great, but I could watch those guys argue about misaligned eye holes on a loop. Go Django!
james repka
2023-01-19 22:14:31 +0000 UTCFor me, it depends on the reactor... with Nat, yeah, a re-watch pretty much guarantees a steady stream of half-remembered spoilers yelled out, on top of her normal yelling... just not for me. Love the first time reactions, though.
Thomas Yanez
2023-01-19 21:31:59 +0000 UTCSame here.
Thomas Yanez
2023-01-19 21:30:07 +0000 UTCDjango is a great movie. Afterwards you should watch The Hateful Eight, which according to Tarantino was initially intended as a sequel to Django (although it evolved into its own story).
Rek
2023-01-19 20:35:08 +0000 UTCDefinitely Django. I'm not much of a Tarantino fan, but this was the one of his that stuck out to me as a genuinely great movie.
History Nuggets
2023-01-19 20:27:35 +0000 UTCFor more complicated movies – or more complicated concepts within movies – I prefer deep-dives or discussion panels to reactions. Or, even better: Watching it again with someone who has a different opionion, so we can pause and discuss. A second-time reaction doesn't seem to give me that content. Now, there _are_ movies where I'd prefer a reaction and then an _instant_ rewatch and reaction. Memento springs to mind.
Patrick Armbruster
2023-01-19 19:31:32 +0000 UTCGreat movie, selling that script gave him the money to film reservoir dogs
jamie jones
2023-01-19 19:15:22 +0000 UTCEven if you’ve seen Kill Bill before I’d still LOVE to rewatch it with you! That’s the reaction I’ve been waiting for and I’m not even a big fan of Tarantino 😂
Daniel McGuinness
2023-01-19 19:11:13 +0000 UTCThat opening scene is just amazing
Rey
2023-01-19 19:07:42 +0000 UTCYep, I'm must highlighting your take (which is a synonym for preference in this context) is not a universal one; personally I hope we see more second-time watching reactions in the future from Nat, as there are a lot of movies that are widely recognized as befitting from an additional viewing which helps pick up on details, context, story beats, etc that can be really hard to put together the first time you watch something, particularly if your job is also to be live reacting to it.
Erik Stevenson
2023-01-19 19:07:39 +0000 UTCIts honestly my favortie one
Rey
2023-01-19 19:05:54 +0000 UTCDefinitely appreciate how you tell us which ones you have seen before. Maybe for a future one we can slip true romance in there, Tarantino didnt direct it but wrote it
Rey
2023-01-19 19:05:23 +0000 UTCGlad you mentioned having seen Pulp Fiction already cause that would've made me sad for this poll, hehe, thats still my fav Tarantino movie. Django is a good choice (currently winning) I love pretty much all his films
Unsecret Identity
2023-01-19 18:55:15 +0000 UTCJackie Brown is pretty amazing.
Jack Burton
2023-01-19 18:16:37 +0000 UTCMy real vote is for his best movie: Jackie Brown.
Adverb
2023-01-19 18:14:36 +0000 UTCI liked the Hateful 8 mini-series—IE Director's cut.
SilentBobFather
2023-01-19 18:07:37 +0000 UTCThe Hateful Eight is another option.
Patrick Reynolds
2023-01-19 18:01:50 +0000 UTCWould love to have seen Jackie brown in the list but Django will make for a great reaction so definitely looking forward to that 👍
Ian
2023-01-19 18:00:03 +0000 UTCIt's not a take, just stating my preference. :) (and from the poll above, I'd say ~85% have the same "take" or at least a similar view...) And it's perfectly okay to enjoy second-time reactions as well. Just not my thing when selecting reaction videos.
Patrick Armbruster
2023-01-19 17:49:38 +0000 UTCIt looks like Django will take this, and it's a fantastic film, but I'd also love to see your reaction to Reservoir Dogs eventually. Please put it back up in a later poll if possible.
Andrew Fadner
2023-01-19 17:48:53 +0000 UTCInteresting take, I definitely don't mind at all.
Erik Stevenson
2023-01-19 17:46:58 +0000 UTCDjango is amazing. Christoph Waltz is so good.
Tucci
2023-01-19 17:40:19 +0000 UTCEverytime I accidentally click on a reaction where the reactor begins with "I've seen it once a long time ago", I immediately stop the video and go look for something else. It's just not the fun I'm looking for, really.
Patrick Armbruster
2023-01-19 17:40:17 +0000 UTCInglourious basterds is my favourite hands down, but if youve seen it, my vote goes to django
jamie jones
2023-01-19 17:31:39 +0000 UTCJackie Brown is so underrated
kenneth radd
2023-01-19 17:28:44 +0000 UTCReally hope for The Hateful Eight one day

2023-01-19 17:21:35 +0000 UTCAll (plus Hateful Eight)
Jordan Love
2023-01-19 17:19:12 +0000 UTCOnce Upon a Time in Hollywood gets too much hate and is an incredible movie imo. I liked it even more on rewatch.
Dante
2023-01-19 17:18:25 +0000 UTCI’ve never seen Django Unchained either so this will be good
Byron
2023-01-19 17:17:48 +0000 UTCHonestly I hope you can eventually get to all of them but Reservoir Dogs is one of my favorite movies. All 4 options are great through.
Jennifer Murph
2023-01-19 17:16:32 +0000 UTCUsually Kill Bill would win but a first time Django reaction is gonna be epic!
Danishprince
2023-01-19 17:15:23 +0000 UTCDamn... all of them are so great! I voted Reservoir Dogs just to hopefully boost the numbers enough Nat will watch it soon after Django! xD
SmokeAndACoffee
2023-01-19 17:14:27 +0000 UTCDjango unchained is easily one of my favorite movies ever, has more heart and humanity than the rest of Tarantino's movies while still maintaining the fun dialogue and action of the others.
Edward Brink
2023-01-19 17:14:18 +0000 UTCOh the foot fetish guy? 😂
Nathan Smith
2023-01-19 17:13:06 +0000 UTCKill Bill is his best work. Hopefully you get around to once upon a time in Hollywood
adrianR31
2023-01-19 17:12:18 +0000 UTCStart at the beginning – Res’ Dogs. Then go by order of release.
Rev.J
2023-01-19 17:10:56 +0000 UTCThey're all so good and a Tarantino spin on different genres. Django is a Tarantino spaghetti western. Reservoir Dogs is like a noir crime movie. Kill Bill has a ton of Asian martial arts influences. Inglorious Basterds is a fictional war action movie (comedy?). Any way, all so good in so many different ways!
Bryant Nieto
2023-01-19 17:07:08 +0000 UTCKill bill for the win
Alex Densmore
2023-01-19 17:07:05 +0000 UTCDjango is brutal. Probably my favorite Christoph Waltz character besides Hanz Landa in Inglorious Basterds. Can't wait to see it.
Walter Lopez
2023-01-19 17:06:47 +0000 UTCPersonal favorite = "Death Proof" 2007

2023-01-19 17:06:46 +0000 UTCI mean really. All of them. Watch all.

2023-01-19 17:05:32 +0000 UTCI value everyone’s opinion for sure. However, I loved Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

2023-01-19 17:03:17 +0000 UTCHow does one skip the very first Tarantino movie? We simply have to do reservoir dogs first!

2023-01-19 17:02:56 +0000 UTCinglorious basterds is by far the best of these four
