2023-11-20 20:45:12 +0000 UTCYa know I feel bad for The Deep as well mostly because I feel like he is the way he is because of Homelander. When people are being abused they tend to take it out on others and repeat the same behaviors. Same thing with A-Train. He's an asshole to everyone else but his behavior shifts around Homelander. I think everyone would be better without him.

It basically accounts for half of the artificial tension that would occur in a lot of 2010ish films' 3rd acts where the main character and the best friend/partner have a falling out over some misunderstanding like this.

It doesn't make using her okay, but it could've at least bought him more time to try and reason with her. Honestly, he just did an awful job of trying to explain himself.
