It would be one thing if she only did one series at a time, but seeing as she does two, why not one long one. There are too many great longer series to just write them off because some people are too impatient to get to their favorite series, Which, by the way, we may never even watch because whatever short series you're waiting to see may never even win a poll.

His time as writer of his comic the preacher has several similarities and the over the top violence is just like his time writing for the punisher for his painkiller Jane arc. 2023-05-17 02:41:54 +0000 UTCI love The Expanse, it's my absolute favorite show ever, and yeah it does require you to watch all 6 seasons, as that is the complete series and was planned out from the very beginning to be one giant story, but it's well worth the commitment and gets better every episode! I do definitely agree that it's time for a longer series for Nat to dive into since she's done shorter ones lately, but it's up to her for sure. Also, Westworld is super awesome, but it's my understanding that HBO Max removed it from their catalog after cancellation, so that might be difficult to find.

2023-05-16 22:37:26 +0000 UTCAgreed, the writing for this show in particular is pretty phenomenal, and I'm pleased they've made the choices they have where they diverged from the source material. That being said, the strike was inevitable and a purge of employees is going to have to happen in Hollywood regardless. You can't keep producing this much content when it's quality is either poor or doesn't have eyes on it, which is a symptom plaguing much of tinsel town these days as well as all the streaming services. At the end of the day this is business. So sadly I'd expect huge swaths of layoffs regardless of when the strike ends. But considering just how popular this show is, I doubt it will be affected. In the meantime you will probably want to watch the faux news reports and such they've been releasing to bridge the gap between season 3 and 4 once you're done with this particular season. They're really entertaining.

I don't know what the expanse is like and which seasons people prefer, but something like Westworld I know I'd be happy with just a singular season with less motivation to finish all of them that have been released. But if the Expanse gets better with each season I suppose that's a different story

2023-05-16 19:32:20 +0000 UTCAs an Expanse fan, I think the length of the show is definitely the biggest challenge. At 62 episodes, it'd be second longest show she will have tackled behind only GOT. ATLA is about the same # of episodes but the episodes were half as long. Personally, I think she's done so many shorter shows since ATLA ended that I'm ready for a longer-running series, but totally get the drawbacks.

Id love to see something DIFFERENT that also doesn't require such a massive time commitment from Nat. I hope "Sweet Tooth" is included!
