Okay, that's legit awesome! xD hahaha, way cool! :)

Watched this a little bit late and whoa, it was exciting! This show really is a good one! :) lol, I got super emotional at the end of the episode.

I don't know if I would consider this the best episode of the series (maybe for the season), but this is the episode where I was completely sold and invested in the show. Season 3 has some emotional bangers and season 4 also has some very solid episodes that do reach this level. I would say this is the first episode where the show hints at how dark this show can get. The notion that air-bending could've been completely erased this episode is pretty dark to begin with, let alone Lin's tragic moment. For the record, I've enjoyed reactions to the previous episode a little bit more -- that "plot twist" of Amon appearing and taking Tarrlock's bending has led to some great reactions and is a truly great moment in this season.

TBF, I'm sure she rewatches during editing. As a viewer, it does kinda get annoying when reactors talk over key moments, but she honestly didn't miss much in that one scene (it's obvious Lin won't say anything to Amon). Also, part of watching reactors for me is hearing their commentary, and the best reactors have interesting commentary. I've already seen that key moment when I watched Korra so hearing Natalie weigh in on the previous scene is what I'm here for. :)

Robert Bonfante

Taking it upon myself to put the call out to reactors on their latest posts to watch the movie "The Warriors" from 1979. Awesome movie; I have never seen reactions from any of my favorite reactors.

You'll get more information next episode I believe, but General Iroh is Zuko's grandson. And he is voiced by Dante Basco, the same guy who voiced Zuko

Jeremiah Dolan

yes that is Dante Basco, the voice of Prince Zuko returning to play General Iroh, the son of Zuko. Mako by the way is named after the voice actor for Iroh who passed away. Also I’m wearing my Uncle Iroh shirt from RSVLTS right now https://www.rsvlts.com/products/nickelodeon-avatar-last-airbender-jasmine-dragon-kunuflex-short-sleeve-shirt

djKENTO

the ending of this season is awesome

TokyoLopez

I'd love to see her react to Independence Day (1996) given the date. I'm surprised she hasn't already.

David Sumner

Nat, PLEASE stop talking during important scenes lol you're missing out on stuff. Like that scene where Amon confronts Beifong and she refuses to tell him where the Avatar is. Completely missed the dialogue lol

Jenny Tolls

Happy Monday Nat. Hope you had an awesome weekend too 😊 Damn, this show just gets better and better. Raising the stakes, and everyone's in danger. So sad what happened to Lin 😒 Can't wait to see what happens next. Thanks for a great video today Nat πŸ’›

Darryl Low

I agree. This episode is the best one for sure, start to finish.

Lee Smith

Good vid today Nat! Seeya tomorrow!

Mastervodo

To answer your question Nat, yes that is the same voice actor that played Zuko!

Alex

I'm crossing my fingers for double Ted Lasso this week

this is my favorite episode in all of korra. its not my favorite show but they get this episode right. Linn's sacrifice to save the airbenders is overlooked way too much, it is an amazing moment where the hardass character has a moment of love (to save the family of her ex boyfriend). There's also an unspoken element that I've heard a lot from army and police stories where I'm sure Linn feels just wrong that her officers under her lost their bending but she kept hers. Even if the officers don't hold it against her at all she still would feel responsible as the leader.

Banana Hammocks

I really hope we get to see the finale this week (:

FatLittleButterfly

General Iroh was indeed voiced by Dante Basco who voiced Zuko and also played Rufio in Hook, which, sidebar, you should react to. Stephen Spielberg, John Williams, Robin Williams, Dustin Hoffman, Julia Roberts, Maggie Smith, and Bob Hoskins are all very good reasons to do so.

Ben Wheeler

It's Zuko's grandson, technically, but yes...same voice actor who did Zuko.

Caomhan84

Hope we get a double feature tomorrow :D

Lee Smith

One small benefit of Nick screwing the creators over (greenlighting seasons 1 and 2 one at a time, fewer episodes per season, etc.) is that forced each season to be really tight with no real filler. Unlike ATLA, every episode drives the main plot of the season forward.

Geoffrey of Monmouth

Are we finishing the season this week?? I'm really happy you're enjoying it :D

Danishprince
