2023-10-24 17:22:06 +0000 UTCHonestly. The old one was so good, and we could see the entire dog, that I would suggest there is no need to stay with the on-screen mic. This one doesn't sound bad by any means but I can't discern it being one jot better. So maybe you can save a penny or two by sending it back. One other consideration you have hurt yourself on your desk with some jump scares I'd hate to think how you might hurt yourself with a jump scare with the mic and the boom arm so very close.

2023-10-23 23:12:04 +0000 UTCI'm Deaf, so I'm only concerned about how audio quality affects autogenerated captioning. I normally notice issues when the videos are edited for YouTube with both clips from the show/movie and the reaction are playing at the same time, so autogenerated captioning doesn't pick up on all dialogue and commentary (some reaction channels have serious issues with this where autogenerated captioning just gave up and didn't show anything for several minutes then a line or two then nothing again). I'll watch out for that in your upcoming videos to see how autogenerated captioning performs. Also, I'm glad to see you combining the next two episodes for tomorrow. I always skipped the 8th episode during rewatches.

2023-10-23 21:14:33 +0000 UTCMic is good, but side noise cancelation is a bit too aggressive and provides weird jumps when you stop and start talking. I believe it could be adjusted easily and voice quality itself is good.

2023-10-23 18:49:39 +0000 UTCFeedback on the mic is that it sounds great. There are low profile microphone arms that don't obstruct the view as much, if you wanna look into that. I personally own an Elgato Wave Mic Arm LP(Low profile) that I have coming under my monitor so it doesn't limit my movements or the view.

2023-10-23 17:21:42 +0000 UTCHi Nat, just a little feedback on the mic, when there's sound from the episode it's great, but I did notice that during the intro the background noise wast silent, but when you spoke we could hear what sounded like an aircon in the background. Personally I think you should keep the new mic, but thought I'd give you the feedback.. as always thanks for the great content..

Thanks Nat 😊 The new mic sounds amazing. It sounds a lot clearer. Having the arm in the way doesn't matter, although Koda looking across at you - "Huh. Mom's jealous that we were becoming the stars of the channel so she's blocking us out!" 😂 Another fun, action packed episode today. I would definitely have a sky bison. All the money you would save on petrol and airline tickets. Don't know where I would keep him though 😄
