Hey, you should add Video Game High School (or VGHS) as a short series to watch. It's only 3 seasons and is a pretty quick binge. It was made by the Youtube channel/studio called Rocketjump back in the earlier years of Youtube when VFX heavy short films were popular (Corridor Digital is another channel that made those types of videos). Being a similar age to me, you may even recognize some of the cameos from Youtubers and other actors (Zachary Levi cameos in season 1, for example). They had a huge following on Kickstarter for their show and funded way over their goal, so they were able to make the show amazing. It really feels like a professional show. There's a fun, corny sense of humor, and it has a lot of great character development, especially in Season 3.

so as a fan of BoB and Invinvible i can say id be glad for both. That said a lot of the BoB fans absolutely tearing down Invincible and simplifying it to medicore show all sound down right pretentious as hell. And when you get replies from upset fans you act apalled that they would even defend invincible. For ones claiming to be fan of the more "prestigous" show you certainly dont act like it.

I feel like you can take what you want from each of these shows. Invincible can be a surface-level superhero beat-em-up if that’s all you can see, but by far the most interesting parts of the show are the dynamics between the characters - powered or not Sandra Oh and JK Simmons are both powerhouses and it’s a delight to watch (or hear) them work together

I've watched alot of cartoon finished watching Avatar the Last Air Bender. Band of brothers is just my favourite TV series I've ever watched so just a bit nostalgic to watch it again is all. I feel like it's been on the pole 4 or 5 times now and it's always narrowly missed out which seems like it will again so ther maybe a small tear for me haha.

Unfortunately we sometimes have to accept that we aren’t in the majority. It stinks, especially when it happens several times in a row with various TV series. I’ve had to leave people who do reactions because my tastes didn’t match the majority. It’s just life. Luckily, Nat’s price is a lot cheaper so it’s not as hard to live with. I do get the frustration, though.

I've watched the first season. No, it's not a carbon copy of The Boys. But it's a coming-of-age story where the main draw is to introduce how the world would operate if superpowered individuals were running around. There's good voice acting, but the story feels fairly unoriginal. I'm not saying I think it's a bad show, I just don't understand why it gets so much praise.

@Danishprince, I can't speak for Chris but I enjoyed Arcane. It's the lack of variety that's killing my interest. Band of Brothers is on such an other level than anything else on this list that it's a joke that it didn't win. It's a show that should be required viewing in US history classes. Instead we get yet another ultra violent superhero show. I attempted to watch the first season. It was basically an animated "The Boys" so I didn't make it through the season. I wish Natalie would consider a separate channel for more adult content (no, not THAT kind of adult content) so some of us could enjoy movies like - A Beautiful Mind Awakenings Dead Poets Society Apollo 13 Amistad Dances With Wolves The Last of the Mohicans Cinderella Man Tombstone Unforgiven ...and so on. I happen to like the newer Planet of the Apes trilogy but for it to win over Apollo 13? Really? It's stuff like that that makes me take a break from Nat's channel for 3-4 months so I can come back for a month and binge the couple of movies she's reacted to that I'm interested in.

It’s fine but not amazing, definitely better than I expected based on the trailers and animation style. A lot of other reactors have done it and it’s clearly very popular. Plotwise it’s a mashup of Teen Titans and Watchmen but the cast adds a lot in performance. There is an actual Watchmen TV show and The Umbrella Academy which cover the same ground with a lot more originality and visual panache. Ha, I commented to defend it and ended up convincing myself it was kinda mediocre.

I'd like to suggest Blue Eye Samurai - it came out recently and has 8 episodes. The story is VERY character focused and has stunning animation with adult themes. It's a revenge story with lots of interesting takes on well-known tropes which sucks you in from the 1 episode. It'd be really cool if you'd do a reaction to it, i really enjoy your take and reactions:)

I'm beginning to feel the same way. I've been a subscriber for over 3 years now and Nat always has the best reactions, but her subscriber base keeps choosing these godawful anime and violent superhero shows. We've already been forced to suffer through Arcane, Avatar, Legend of Korra, The Boys and Gen Z and now it looks like we'll have to suffer through Invincible too. If Invincible wins, I'll probably cancel my subscription simply because all the shows she reacts to are so terrible.

5 Days at Memorial was also 8 episodes but was great - like a train wreck you cant quite look away from. Almost similar to Chernobyl in a way. It was focused largely on an incident during Hurricane Katrina and is on Apple TV!

All great choices, only thing missing is The Bear. My vote had to go to Andor as with my personal taste I think it was the best show that has been released on Disney+. Understandable it has split the Star Wars fans as it moved away from the typical sci-fi fantasy genre to a more realistic and mature political thriller, but that's precisely why I loved it as the writing was great and all the characters had so much more depth and nuance rather than being one note.

Band of Brothers is an excellent series that would be a good choice for Memorial Day. Loki Season 2 has an amazing ending worth watching. Enthusiasm for Star Wars is at an all-time low these days, but Andor is the best series since Mandalorian S2 (arguably better), and I think Natalie would appreciate the more gritty style, well-defined characters, and the series' 3-episode-arcs story structure that builds to an incredible finale.

But I just don't have the interest in the stuff that the community votes for her to watch. The novelty of the extreme gore is the only thing unique about Invincible. Enough with the cartoons. Band of Brothers produced by Spielberg and Hanks is cinematic gold as well as an amazing cast with today's stars well before they became famous.

Im tired of all these cartoons wining these show polls. We literally just got done watching entire 3 seasons Legend of Korra. Every time Band of Brothers loses to these cartoons, its getting annoying. BoB is actually important cinema. Lets give the kid shows a rest, come back to them later.

Seems like Nat's watched nothing but anime for the last year. Band of Brothers would make for the best "Reaction" great characters (considering they're real people) Aswell as storytelling. One of the best Miniseries ever made.

I mean all of these will make for a good reaction and entertain you. But only one of them legitimately one of the best pieces of entertainment media of all time. I know a lot of people have reacted to it, but that's because Band of Brothers is..... important. If you don't react to it, at least watch it on your own. If you haven't seen it before. No one will be watching Invincible in 40 years. People will still be watching Band of Brothers.

If anyone here in the comments hasn't watched Andor because they don't like Star Wars, or are tired of Star Wars, or have been turned away by the poor quality of the other recent Star Wars, or don't care about that one character from that one movie, STOP and go watch Andor now anyway. It’s not just the greatest miniseries ever made (in my humble opinion) but Easy Company also just has one of the greatest stories of World War II. I had the honor to meet one of the real men shortly before he passed away and it was something I’ll always remember.

Band of Brothers even 22 years later still holds up as one of the greatest depictions of WWII, with Master of the Air coming in the next few months it would be a good time to do both Band of Brothers and then maybe The Pacific and finish it off with Master of the Air.
