*Reiterating that I filmed these reactions when they had ad breaks in them. So unfortunately, that screws with the timer a bit. I do narrate when the ads start and when the episode comes back on. I figured out how to upgrade my account to ad free so that this won't be a problem in the future.

2024-04-05 01:19:17 +0000 UTCI take it more like all the things she was upset about or complaining about don't matter at all anymore after witnessing the Omni-Man fight, and knowing that Mark literally stopped a world takeover and almost died. She scaled her expectations back. And yeah, the writers probably pivoted a little bit, but I hope they had planned for this pivot initially and not just because she was so poorly received. For what it's worth, I think Zazie Beetz is killing it in season 2 and their relationship makes more sense now, at least expectations are more clear.

2024-04-02 14:06:04 +0000 UTCIt feels like the writers reacted to the negative response to Mark and Ambers lack of chemistry in S1 by pivoting too hard in the opposite direction and making them TOO in love. Like Amber is so supportive now that it feels out of character lol
