She has reacted to Saving Private Ryan, and as you would expect, it is top tier react.

2024-07-14 23:26:56 +0000 UTCAs for Steven Spielberg, “Saving Private Ryan” is one of the most influential war films ever made, and “War Of The Worlds” (2005) is very underrated, in my book. 🙂
Trae King
2024-07-02 10:17:30 +0000 UTCI strongly recommend “King Kong” (2005) and even “The Hobbit” Trilogy (love them, don’t care), which were all directed by the great Peter Jackson who also directed “The Lord Of The Rings” Trilogy (which I know you already did reactions on in the past). 👍 Peter Jackson and Steven Spielberg are two of my favorite filmmakers of all time. 🙂

2024-05-23 21:58:36 +0000 UTCSome say Austin powers basically killed the spy movie. It wasn't until Jason Bourne that you get James bond again and it's done more in the Bourne style than the traditional.

2024-05-23 12:38:02 +0000 UTChmmm yeah HItchhiker's tv show from 81 is better than the movie for me. Hard to get better than the original you grew up with sometimes. Austin for me in this list.

2024-05-22 23:05:54 +0000 UTCI really don’t understand the appeal of The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. The books are amazing. The movie, despite an incredible cast, is ok at best. Just my opinion, of course

2024-05-22 23:04:41 +0000 UTCLets go Big Short! It's such an important movie and perfectly(I mean perfectly) excuted. I guess I will settle for a reaction to one of the most iconic comedic roles of all time.

2024-05-22 22:39:52 +0000 UTCAgreed. I know a lot of people are pretty "meh" on Goldmember because it's just complete and utter nonsense, and feels like a series of sketches more than a movie, but I love that they just went balls to the wall and just went for the absurdity.
Jeff K
2024-05-22 22:22:31 +0000 UTCI love that movie so much. "Ooooh I hate the Colonel, with his wee beady eyes, and that smug look on his face, 'Ooooh, you're gonna buy my chicken, ooooooh!'"

2024-05-22 22:21:18 +0000 UTCIf I remember correctly, Natalie appreciates more emotion-based films and series. I love Sci-Fi, so I voted for Hitch-hiker's. But that's a very secular, non-emotion based movie. Paddington is emotion based, but for the emotional depth of children. Austin powers is hilarious, no emotion and no logic or intelligence behind it, just based comedy. The other two I haven't seen. I guess it all depends upon what emotion we want to see from her...
Michael Adair
2024-05-22 21:53:29 +0000 UTCLars and the Real Girl is WONDERFUL. It definitely won’t win, but this is Ryan Gosling at his best. Premise sounds odd, but it’s SO sweet.

2024-05-22 21:39:05 +0000 UTCwow, so many. I like Austin Powers but voted for The Big Short. I also really like Hitchhikers Guide but I know some purists didn't like this version of it.

2024-05-22 21:22:40 +0000 UTCIt looks like my pick (Austin Powers) might actually win this time. I'm a Gen Xer and my movie preferences don't seem much aligned with most voters on the site.
Reggie
2024-05-22 20:44:49 +0000 UTCOh wow, I'm so happy Hitchhikers Guide is fighting for 2nd place here. It is kind of a niche movie, not something that was a huge box office or awards winner, so I'm hoping it makes it onto another poll sometime! That said, if you haven't watched the Austin Powers trilogy they really are must-watch comedies from the early 00's.
Erik Stevenson
2024-05-22 20:23:21 +0000 UTCVery slightly better, yes! Much better written!
—thoughtstorms—Keith—
2024-05-22 20:06:57 +0000 UTCSince it looks like Austin Powers will be the winner: There are 3 movies, and unlike most other comedy series, both sequels are better than the original. Which is not to say the original isn't great, but the series as a whole is typically what fans remember.

2024-05-22 20:00:13 +0000 UTCUnpopular opinion: So I Married An Axe Murder is a far better movie than Austin Powers.

2024-05-22 19:23:59 +0000 UTCAgreed. Like, it's not a BAD movie, and I also realize it's an incredibly difficult book to adapt to the big screen, but it just fell short for me.

2024-05-22 18:22:16 +0000 UTCYeah. I was hoping for more from Hitchhiker’s. I had hoped it would do well enough to continue through all the books but that first movie was lacking in everything that made the book great.

2024-05-22 17:37:44 +0000 UTCI remember liking Austin Powers in high school but I rewatched it a few years ago and wasn't as funny as I remembered. The first movie is kinda tame compared to the sequels and there are too many dated '90s references. If Natalie is going to watch a ridiculous comedy I'd recommend THE NAKED GUN movies. The first two movies are must-watch cop comedy classics! I voted for The Big Short because it's funny, intense, and disturbing in a "WTF were they thinking!? Oh... $$$$$" way.
Rod Reavern
2024-05-22 17:36:32 +0000 UTCIf The Big Short doesn’t win this time, please be sure to bring it back. Even if it’s not a movie that performs well for your channel, it’s a very important movie that needs to be shared with others (IMO). I think your analysis of it would be very, very interesting and make it more accessible to lots of folks that might feel it was out of their depth otherwise.

2024-05-22 17:02:57 +0000 UTCWe have to get Natalie into the Austin powers films. All 3 of them are just stupid fun comedy.
Thats MR. Baldamort
2024-05-22 16:54:19 +0000 UTCJust because others are willing to take the risk doesn't mean Nattie should do the same. Yes realistically nothing is gonna happen but reaction channels have been completely taken down in the past because of it and that is something she doesn't wanna risk :)
Danishprince
2024-05-22 16:47:12 +0000 UTCI love every version of The Hitchhiker's Guide, but the movie version is probably my least favorite, mostly because of the stuff they left out in order to insert a whole new subplot that didn't do much for me. The best parts are the parts lifted directly from the book, in which case you might as well just listen to the audiobook or the radio play. But I also know plenty of fans who vehemently disagree, so whatever! =D
Troy B.
2024-05-22 16:46:24 +0000 UTC......I mean, that is a fair point. But without spoiling for others or Nat if she reads this, the jokes haven't aged well in Austin Powers. Some yes, but not all. I get the whole movie series is a giant parody satire of the James Bond films and they are great...but watching Sam Rockwell and John Malkovich just be their goofy deranged selves is way more appealing than literal toilet humor, lol.

2024-05-22 16:31:18 +0000 UTCThis is a weird mix of movies but I'd have to go with Paddington or Lars and the Real Girl, which are both pretty wholesome films, in their own right (especially Lars which really surprised me). I was never a huge Austin Powers fan, always thought the schtick got old pretty quick, but I'm clearly in the minority there, as it got 2 sequels and is currently winning this poll. I'm sure it'll be a fun time either way.

2024-05-22 16:10:54 +0000 UTCOn Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, most of the humor of the book is lost in the movie. Watch the movie, but I recommend only doing so after having read the book.
