FIRST TIME WATCHING: Fallout S1E6
Added 2024-05-23 16:00:07 +0000 UTCHowdy folks!
It's time for more Fallout! Had so much fun diving deeper into this show. It really has such a unique vibe. It's rare to find a show that feels so silly and goofy that still has moments of intense suspense and mystery.
Can't wait to see how the season wraps up next week! As always, thank you for your support here on Patreon. Until the next one, take care and stay golden :)

That is indeed his suit. You talked over the dialogue in which Birdy explained that their surface foraging teams had found it and were bringing it down to the vault.

2025-01-10 06:44:23 +0000 UTCNat, your comment on Bakersfield is practically prescient. [minor game spoiler] In Fallout 1, it is revealed that Bakersfield gets renamed "Necropolis" in the Wasteland. That vault did not fully seal and everyone inside got ghoul-ified.

2024-05-24 05:41:16 +0000 UTCGreat episode, loving all of the mysteries, twist & turns happening in this show. Kinda giving me vibes I haven't seen since watching the 1st 3 seasons one of all time favorite of mine, "LOST"!

2024-05-24 03:28:29 +0000 UTCThe absolute chills I got hearing the Fallout Theme by Inon Zur when Lucy looks at the flag. You should give Fallout 4 a go someday on a stream.

2024-05-24 03:00:12 +0000 UTCThe "A Man and his Dog" poster is a reference to the 1975 film "A Boy and his Dog", as well as the earlier novella by Harlan Ellison it was based on, starring a young Don Johnson. It also takes place in a post-apocalyptic wasteland, and prominently features an underground community of vault dwellers, who have a few disturbing secrets of their own. :)

2024-05-23 18:03:55 +0000 UTCAgreed - I've been wanting a Fallout show for years, and was nervous it might not live up to my expecations, but boy oh boy did it. Casting Walton was a great first step, but then when I saw the first teaser trailer I knew it was going to work because you could tell from that alone, they absolutely NAILED the tone and aesthetic.

2024-05-23 18:03:26 +0000 UTCI love this episode so much. Some fun little Easter Eggs (like the first use of the Fallout theme music in the series, when Lucy unfurls the NCR flag), not to mention I will never, ever say no to an episode of television that just lets Walton Goggins absolutely cook.

2024-05-23 18:02:26 +0000 UTCIsn't this show great? I was so worried it was going to be a terrible cash grab but it's about as good as I could have hoped! Between this and The Last of Us, we're getting really good video game representation in our TV Series!

2024-05-23 17:01:09 +0000 UTCYou really should stream some Fallout 4 or Fallout New Vegas, when you get a chance! Every game is stand alone but Fallout 4 is the easiest to get into and the show takes on the look and feel from Fallout 4.

2024-05-23 16:47:50 +0000 UTCHappy Thursday Nat. Excited for more Fallout today π Any Questions - "What's going on with your face?!?" πππ Your scream when Mr. Cyclops spat his drink out was awesome π So much is happening in these final shows. I loved the going back and forth between Lucy and Cooper, the way they kept the sinister music going. Looking forward to the finale next week. Thanks for another great reaction today Nat π
