Added 2024-08-16 13:00:09 +0000 UTCThis is the end...hold your breath and count to ten....
When I tell you, I've had Adele stuck in my head for DAYS...I'm not exaggerating.
I'm so ready to get that song out of my head, but I'm also SO stoked to be watching another Bond film with you!
I watched this on Prime video for those who are curious. As always, thank you for your support here on Patreon. Until the next one, take care and stay golden :)

I really enjoyed this reaction! :) Bond movie have been a staple for me for many, many years. I began watching them back in 1995,when I was seven years old. It makes me feel very happy that you're watching these! They may not be for everyone but I do feel that they're a good bit of fun for nearly anybody.

2024-10-01 17:22:18 +0000 UTCAnd that's the reason why I haven't watched No Time To Die yet. I watched spectre in cinema when it came out, didn't mind it. But then I wanted to rewatch it, cause I remembered nothing from it before watching No Time To Die, which might actually be good again. But holy I tried to finish Spectre three times now... that movie is about the most boring and artistically detached movie I have seen in a long time. I mean how can you even achieve being boring for such a long time.

2024-09-01 19:16:57 +0000 UTCNow we need Spectre and then No Time to Die!

2024-08-24 22:55:13 +0000 UTCThat’s not a good enough excuse. It still has good plot explanations. Just because someone’s opinions got influenced I’m kinda disappointed in her.

2024-08-23 18:48:57 +0000 UTCShould watch the older Bond movies too, then a lot of little call backs, tropes, mentions of people or gadgets. Will make a lot more sense

2024-08-20 08:34:48 +0000 UTCHow perfect would that film have been if they got Sean Connery play Kincaid? Having Sean Connery and Daniel Craig defending James Bond's home would have been one for the ages. I mean who better to say "Welcome to Scotland" after blowing a bad guy away with a shotgun?
Kevin Maguire
2024-08-19 01:00:29 +0000 UTCOH No worries, She definitely knows she skipped QoS... Lol We told her to skip that atrocity

2024-08-18 10:17:56 +0000 UTCYeah, Quantum had potential, but it never managed to do anything about it. Also some strange stylistic choices that felt more motivated by budget and less artistic visjon (I'm thinking about the prolonged opening action scene vs the later one that essentially is a montage).

2024-08-18 08:24:26 +0000 UTCFantastic reaction. I love this film. I will however mention that that you did skip Quantum of Solace. Which was the next film to be made. And I'll be honest. It's not great. A good deal of why has to do with the 2007-08 Writers Guild of America strike happening around that time. And so the script wasn't totally finished when they shot it. And I stand behind writers, but that's the reason why. It is still intersting to consider watching if only to see the whole saga of Daniel Craig as James Bond. Because previously, actors would come and go, and it would all feel like one big nebulous timeline. The first 20 Bond films....SORT OF felt like one long timeline, with them ignoring technology advancing and history progressing fast. But with Daniel Craig, it felt like a brave new reboot. And Quantum is fun if only because it opens like an hour after Casino Royale, with Mr. White still in custody. So there's fun there. And ultimately, although the five film saga that is to come isn't always uniformly the best, it is still unique. Because no other Bond has done it. Also, I loved the final Craig film No Time to Die, but that's just me. I teared up in the theater towards the end. It just felt very emotional for me. Here's his saga BTW: Casino Royale Quantum of Solace Skyfall Spectre No Time to Die

2024-08-18 02:28:11 +0000 UTCI love how Quantum of Solace doesn't even get a mention.

2024-08-17 23:44:49 +0000 UTCWhen it comes to the Daniel Craig era Casino Royal is the best film, with Skyfall a close second. No time to die takes the third place. His car is a 1965 Aston Martin DB5 Silver and with the ejector seat it's not only a not to the Connery era, but to Goldfinger especially. Not only is it the first film he drives this particular car, it also features the ejector seat.

2024-08-17 20:54:45 +0000 UTCIdiots told her to skip it even though it picks up directly from casino royales cliffhanger. And every movie ties in together in the end.

2024-08-17 15:30:55 +0000 UTCBond girls always die Nat, it's kinda their thing.
Keith Jacobsen
2024-08-17 13:37:50 +0000 UTCI think its cause its kinda meh? Assuming most people recommended she skip it
PrayTellCaesar
2024-08-17 07:57:26 +0000 UTCyeah I'm super confused why we jumped straight to the 3rd movie.

2024-08-17 07:35:44 +0000 UTCHey Nat, I would love to see a reaction of Steve Jobs (2015). Directed by Danny Boyle and Starring Michael Fassbender.
Alex Caudill
2024-08-17 05:53:40 +0000 UTCCan we get an explanation to why she skipped quantum of solace cause it does answer questions to the first movie.
Modders
2024-08-17 04:42:39 +0000 UTCI'm pretty sure she skipped it because it was universally considered the worst Craig Bond film, and multiple people mentioned she should skip it.
Mike Hell
2024-08-17 04:28:59 +0000 UTCJust my opinion, but Quantum of Solace was kinda weak (bit forgettable) and skipping it Nat and us get a better film sooner. Not really missing anything of what little I remember lol correct me if wrong. That said, it is the only one I'd skip.
Spawncalibur
2024-08-17 03:51:40 +0000 UTCIn terms of Craig Bond movies....1. Casino Royal 2. Skyfall 3. No Time to Die for me. The other two are good, just like those 3 the best. Song always comes in opening credits with all sorts of visuals and easter eggs on what will be in the movie. One of the only opening credits that are not boring.......
Erik Larson
2024-08-17 03:20:06 +0000 UTCYes, Quantum of Solace comes before this movie, and yes it was skipped. My assumption is that Nat skipped it because she tends to get motion sick and QoS is known for its extensive use of shaky-cam footage. Purely an assumption on my part, though.

2024-08-16 23:58:15 +0000 UTCMiss Moneypenny is a very famous name from the original James Bond movies and books. She is M's secretary, and she and Bond flirt shamelessly at the beginning of most movies before Bond gets his assignment from M. One of the complaints when they rebooted the Bond series with Casino Royale was that they didn't include Miss Moneypenny in the movie. You asked how James Bond's parents died. They died in a mountain climbing accident when he was about 10. Also, the car is the original James Bond supercar from the movie "Goldfinger". It even has the same license plate. That car started the whole tradition of James Bond having a car with built in machine guns, missile launchers, revolving license plates, bullet-proof glass, ejection seats, etc.
Chris Gronau
2024-08-16 23:52:57 +0000 UTCBased on Nats reaction, I think we need to get her on some good old James Bond, Mission Impossible, Jason Bourne watches ASAP.
Boomcity
2024-08-16 23:21:50 +0000 UTCGoldeneye is for sure one of the better Bond movies but even the worst ones are still campy fun. For example, A View to a Kill is total nonsense but it has Christopher Walken and Grace Jones in it so I can't hate it.
Berry
2024-08-16 23:10:11 +0000 UTCNat clearly doesn’t read these comments. lol A bunch of people have mentioned needing to watch QoS prior to this and she didn’t even mention it in the intro. She’s really good about not spoiling anything for herself to a fault. She thought Bond dies in this film lol. I’d wouldn’t be surprised if she didn’t know there were other Daniel Craig Bond movies to watch lol
Giancarlo Gasparin
2024-08-16 22:58:22 +0000 UTCIt was always very personal for Silva. Her death couldn’t be a simple one, motivated by just revenge after what he suffered. He blows up MI6 without her being there on purpose. He wants her to feel the “sins” of her past. He gets captured so he can have the moment he wanted of showing her the result of those sins. He says as much. Once he had that moment, he was fully intent on killing her at the hearing, but he failed.
Giancarlo Gasparin
2024-08-16 22:54:39 +0000 UTCNext Bond film: Goldeneye. Dame Judi Dench's first outing as M, and after your Speed reaction, I crave more mid-90's action with you. Also doesn't require much Bond knowledge, as it too served as a "fresh start" for Bond after unceremoniously letting go of Dalton. I'd murder for a Living Daylights reaction, but I know it's not a realistic ask, hence the murder. Sean Bean's in it, too. In Goldeneye, that is
Shen V
2024-08-16 22:43:36 +0000 UTCNo doubt. MI3 really takes off and Fallout might be one of the best action movies of all time.
Giancarlo Gasparin
2024-08-16 22:42:33 +0000 UTCThe Living Daylights is underated, both the film and the theme.

2024-08-16 22:35:59 +0000 UTCGetting a little noise at 15khz when you're not speaking into the mic. Gate or compressor maybe?

2024-08-16 21:20:55 +0000 UTCSkipped Quantum of Solace?
Connor Ellis
2024-08-16 21:15:00 +0000 UTCHi Nat, Moneypenny was always M's secretary in the early James Bond films, there was always some flirting between James and Moneypenny.
Baggie Mark
2024-08-16 20:39:47 +0000 UTCquestion, did we skip Quantum of Solace? i think that came before this movie?
vlocke67
2024-08-16 20:33:30 +0000 UTCHi Nat, did you spot Polly from Peaky Blinders she was a minister asking questions when M was being questioned at the hearing?
Baggie Mark
2024-08-16 19:52:23 +0000 UTCSo many people say this is their favourite Bond film... I just get so taken out of it by the complete nonsense of Silva's plan. Why even bother getting captured if you're so capable of setting up such an elaborate escape? Just dress up as a policeman and turn up at M's house and kidnap her, or blow her up in her office, or something that doesn't require such nonsense as Q (another supposed genius) plugging Silva's computer directly into the MI6 network...
Chris Cooper
2024-08-16 19:31:24 +0000 UTCi had to laugh, nat was like her reaction was so subdued "i guess shes used to things like this happenening o.o o.o o.o" XD so funnny
MJ Eid
2024-08-16 18:29:51 +0000 UTCNot streaming for me but thankfully I own a copy of this film 😁
Shaun Bloom
2024-08-16 17:21:58 +0000 UTCThe Bourne films sparked the more action oriented film styling of the Craig Bond films, so if she likes these, she almost certainly would like The Bourne Identity.
Mike Hell
2024-08-16 17:14:00 +0000 UTCHell yeah. Jason Bourne walked so Daniel Craig's Bond could run.
Mike Hell
2024-08-16 17:12:00 +0000 UTCLoved the reaction! Best part the brief uncomfy interrogation scene between Bardem/Craig where Bond kinda turns things around on him. Nat's reaction to that part was great! Might clip that bit.

2024-08-16 16:40:06 +0000 UTCLord Voldormort was amazing in this even if he had little screen time.

2024-08-16 15:50:12 +0000 UTCThat's a great theme as well and maybe my favourite Roger Moore James Bond film, alongside The Spy Who Loved Me.
LittleGalaxyBoy
2024-08-16 14:11:34 +0000 UTCAnd the first 3 Bourne films!

2024-08-16 14:06:33 +0000 UTCNo "For your Eyes Only" by Sheena Easton?
Mastervodo
2024-08-16 14:06:18 +0000 UTCI think Nat would love the mission impossible series after watching Bond. After the first 2 M.I. films they just turn into a Tom Cruise stunt routine with twists ans turns. So fun.
John Locke
2024-08-16 13:52:53 +0000 UTCThe Main themes of these films are always amazing and often include fun little clues to the events of the films thanks to these songs being crafted around the movie. It's a trend that's followed James Bond into other media such as video games and one I hope continues moving forward. I don't think I could even pick a favourite but I guess if I narrowed it down to Six it would be. A View to a Kill by Duran Duran (1985) The Living Daylights by A-ha (1987) Live and Let Die by Paul McCartney & Wings (1973) On Her Majesty's Secret Service by Louis Armstrong (1969) GoldenEye by Tina Turner (1995) You Know My Name by Chris Cornell (2006) There's no doubt a few missing but those come to my mind as my personal favourites. Cannot forget about Dr. No by John Barry (1962) the first use of the iconic James Bond theme you hear across all films. The films of course have their own scores as well. GoldenEye may have my favourite overall score but the music across all the films is amazing so difficult to pick a single one.
LittleGalaxyBoy
2024-08-16 13:42:57 +0000 UTCI always go back and forth between those two myself as to which is the best Bond film.
PureGonzo
2024-08-16 13:27:06 +0000 UTCBest Bond film followed closely by Casino Royale
