Happy Feature Friday Folks!

It's time for more tears and childhood trauma! Haha only joking, but this one did hit me in the feels. Excited to hear what you all think about this sequel.

As always, thank you for your support here on Patreon. Until the next one, take care and stay golden :)

Original Movie: Inside Out 2

I also like the first one more, but I still really loved this one too! I would hope to see more of these. I feel like 6 would be a good number. Like the third could be like Junior or Senior year of high school and maybe she gets a sibling, like Natalie predicted before. 4th could be freshman year of college, 5th would be graduating and life after college. And the final one could be more of a time-jump to right before she has a kid of her own, perhaps with little time jumps within the movie showing her meeting someone and then the kid later. Or if that would be too much, then just make a 7th with the kid and the 6th would just be meeting her person. But if it end up being three, I think ending with a new sibling would be a nice bookend.

Hopefully someone commented for you to watch "Riley's First date?" too! And I can't wait for the spin-off series that's the Dream studio in her head making dreams!

Inside Out 1 gets me every single time, this one did not make me cry at all, and yet it's still a fantastic and fun movie with a lot of emotion.

I finally can watch this.

I saw this with my niece and nephew, both of whom are roughly thee same age as Riley (give or take a year), and they seemed to like it better than I did. I was surprised at how much it revolved around hockey, but not hockey island. (Wasn't that an island in the first one?) I think this would've hit harder if I hadn't just seen the first one on here recently. Rarely does a Pixar sequel work better than the first of a series. (Except maybe the 2nd Toy Story.) My only other "issue" with the movie was that most of the mind metaphors were vastly different from the last one even though it had only been what, one or two years since the events of the first? Like, how did Joy make a giant memory chute/catapult without Sadness/Anger/Disgust/Fear knowing? Also, I thought the old memories just faded in the pit where Bing Bong was, not piling up in the back of the mind to come flooding back later. Ah well, as Ennui would say.

Hibernatus , Le Petit Baigneur etc... (all the films with Louis De Funès 👌) , all the films of la Bande a Fifi , les visiteurs , Les bronzés font du ski , la 7eme compagnie 1,2,3 , Le Grand Blond avec une chaussure noire , Je suis timide mais je me soigne (many films with Pierre Richard) , Le Cerveau and many many others 😆 then there are films that are comics but cool to watch like Les Grandes Gueules , Le Maître d'école , la Smala , un taxi pour Tobrouk , la Traversée de Paris etc... etc...😁 sorry in advance if you don't understand everything 😅 watch with subtitles because I don't believe they exist in a dubbing version

I think as someone struggling with Anxiety, that this was a great movie and definitely gave me lots of flashbacks to my Teenage years where I tried to fit in so hard that I lost my own Identity for a while. (Which came back in my twenties and bit me in the butt SOOO hard, im talking deep pit of despair hard). However, I do agree with most others here, I think they did muddle the messaging a bit here. I think the first movie also hit me a lot harder because the story was just a bit clearer, and the B story was sooooo great.

Joy: “Sadness, Riley needs you.” (Inside Out) Sadness: “Joy, Riley wants you.” (Inside Out 2)

The theme song is one of the greatest. Ever.

Anxiety by Pat Benatar sums up the character I find the most relatable. Adore this film so much, Anxiety was such a great addition... To the film. Not real life :( Pat Benatar - Anxiety (Get Nervous) - https://youtu.be/sXatoCG13tw

Hi Nat, really looking forward to seeing where they take this, if it's through teenage angst or puberty it could be very emotional 🤧 ..

Baggie Mark

Watched it recently. Personally I think the first one hits harder because the end of childhood, either remembered wistfully or fondly, is a stronger emotion (imho) than one’s teenage years.
