I haven't seen anyone mention this in the comments, so to explain the fight scene on the moon it happened in the "Blue Area of the Moon." It's a place in Marvel where there's enough atmosphere in a specific isolated section of the moon for people to breathe. It's usually shown as the place where the Inhumans live (Black Bolt from Dr.Strange: MoM is their king). Inhumans are kinda like mutants, a subspecies of humans who have superpowers, but they got them from being the descendants of humans that got experimented on by the Kree. Instead of coexistence like Charles hopes for, they settled for isolationism and straight up left Earth to go live on the moon. I don't actually know if the Inhumans created the Blue Area of the Moon or if they just found it and lived there, but those ruins they fought in on the moon were likely from them. Even Uatu the Watcher from What If...? is usually shown to have set up shop in the Blue Area of the Moon (to watch Earth and record history without being noticed). And either Jean or Madelyn mention in an earlier episode how the X-men fought a battle in the Blue Area of the Moon when talking about the original cartoon's Phoenix Saga. The namedrop doesn't mean much tho if you don't know about it already. So it's basically Marvel's go to spot for when superheroes need to bring their battles out into space to avoid destruction on Earth. They just go to the Blue Area of the Moon and fight there. And that's why they could still breathe while fighting Bastion on the moon, Marvel literally created their own location hack for moon battles lol

No problem! Glad you liked the show!

haha I totally forgot it was Apocalypse until watching the honest trailer on stream last week! Thanks for the fun facts

Now that you’ve finished the show I can finally tell you. The xmen never thought Xavier was dead. Only the human population did. They knew he was alive the whole time. Which is why if you go bakc and watch they always say “with the professor gone” they never say dead. In the finale of season 5 of the original show Charles is almost killed and he goes with the shi’ar to space to heal and get better but they don’t know how long he’ll be gone. So to them he’s gone “forever” but they knew he was alive That’s why they didn’t really react lol Just thought to let you know since you didn’t see the original show Also if you remember the movie X-Men: Apocalypse they say that Apocalypse is the first mutant So when they go to 3000 BC that guy is Apocalypse. And the end credit scene is also apocalypse In the original five seasons, the three biggest bad guys were magneto, Mr sinister, and apocalypse. But apocalypse was the BIG BAD. Like the main recurring villain throughout the show. So this is a big tease for his return Though don’t worry I’m 99.9% sure season 2 of this show will still be able to be understood without watching the original, just like this season was. Id recommend the original show to watch in your spare time even if not as a reaction. Though warning, this season is better than all 5 seasons lol The original show was very much Saturday morning cartoon vibes and wasn’t nearly as dark or profound. It’s more just fun. There are serious moments though too, the Phoenix saga from season 3 was like 8 parts long lol and it’s really great You can kinda watch the show out of order cause since it’s a kid show continuity is loose Id legit just recommend watching the 8-10 episodes of the Phoenix from season 3. They’re great. Probably not worth a reaction but for your own viewing Grest reaction overall and I’ve loved seeing you react to this show!

Loved watching this show with you Nat. It was so epic. Definitely one of the best series we've watched here on your channel 😊

Such a great show dude En Sabah Nur (aka Apocalypse) was the world’s first mutant. Iconic big bad that’s popped up in the original xmen cartoon a couple times. Oscar Isaac played him in the movie if you remember haha Also it’s worth noting that Mr Sinister is actually Human. He was an old timey scientist who kidnapped and experimented on mutants and stole their DNA to extend his life and give himself abilities 2 more seasons are in the works, and it looks like we’re gonna be following the “Age of Apoclypse” storyline judging by the cliffhanger 😮‍💨 and that post credits 👀

Absolutely fantastic show. Its got two more seasons coming. the next season is currently in the rewrite phase due to some lets say writer issues. Looks like next seasons will be a new X-Men team in present day judging from Forges wall of characters so I hope we get an updated intro with new characters and the same theme. Would be so iconic

Just for clarity - Magneto has always been able to control adamantium. Unsure if this show hinted or displayed that he couldn't at some point, can't remember lol. I just know Magneto controlling adamantium isn't new. That's not a dig at you at all, you're obv still learning the universe and it's a LOT tbf. I'm still learning new stuff too. -- Appreciate you and your reactions!

As someone who read and collected the comics since the mid 80's and was a huge fan fan of the cartoon in the 90's, you have no idea how much joy this show has given me. I am honestly surprised be how many women, who are non comic book fans actually loved this series. Was a little worried when it was announced this was coming out, figured disney would screw this up. Have to say this is the best thing they have done in ages! I was in college in 1992when the original series first aired, and me and a group of about 20 other students both male and female would gather together, usually hang over from the night before and watch this and other classic cartoons. It was one of the best times of my life.

i hope you watch Deadpool soon!

I think what you have to remember is that this is basically a soap opera in cartoon form. Hence the more grandiose dialog delivery, sometimes excessively theatrical, ie, more formal and a bit dorky haha

Andy

Reminder (i think everyone knows this LOL) Deadpool and Wolverine is out digitally.

Joovain

And she's not talking about tax time, am I right!?

Happy Tuesday Nat. Looking forward to watching this later on. Been out this afternoon watching The Empire Strikes Back at the cinema. Got my own private screening. No-one else was there 😆

Peter Parker & MJ Cameo: I loved the random shot of 90s Peter and MJ watching the news, casually revealing that Peter had finally found MJ again, During the Spider-Man: The Animated Series (1994 - 1998), MJ falls off a New York bridge and into a portal that the Green Goblin opened, inspired by the death of Gwen Stacy but instead they used a portal for censorship reasons. Unknown to Peter, MJ didn’t fall into the river as he believed, but was actually pulled into an alternate dimension. For the remainder of the series, Peter is unaware that she’s trapped in a parallel world, leaving him devastated and guilt-ridden, thinking she’s dead. The series was cancelled before this storyline was ever fully resolved, leaving fans on a massive cliff-hanger. In the final episode, "Spider Wars," Peter is guided by Madame Web to a dimension-hopping adventure, where he encounters alternate versions of himself, Spider-Verse before both the Spider-Verse comics and movies. By the end of the series, Madame Web promises to help Peter find the real Mary Jane, setting the stage for a potential continuation that never came. Other Cameos: I also loved all the little cameos from Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four to Daredevil, Cloak and Dagger, Iron Man, and Doctor Strange. Giving the universe a real sense of interconnectedness, instead of feeling isolated to just the X-Men like the films were we saw heroes active across the globe trying to do their best. I would’ve loved a shot of the Fantastic Four on top of the Baxter Building in New York, working on a backup plan in case the X-Men failed. It would’ve been great to see them actively involved, but maybe they were off on their own adventures, which is why Morph turned into Reed Richards for a few frames. We also don’t really see the Avengers together, only just glimpses of Iron Man and Captain America protecting the White House. Doctor Strange is busy helping out at a hospital, while street-level heroes like Daredevil are trying to keep the peace etc.

Im glad the honest trailer helped you figure out that was apocalypse haha. This show was so much better than what my expectations for it were and was my favorite thing disney plus has made since wandavision . Im glad Disney let them tell a mature story

Rey

En saban Nur is the birth name of Apocalypse

pless jones

Hank had me laughing with his signature “oh, dear.” Now that we’re here, I can finally tell you a bit more about Forge. His birth name is Daniel Lone Eagle, and back in the original cartoon he only had one episode in the present. In his other appearances, he had correspondence in the future. He would often help Bishop and others from the future with time traveling and whatnot. It’s implied that his super intellect allowed him to have longevity like Logan except he doesn’t have a healing factor.
