Man coming in with a negative opinion is interesting :(

2024-10-30 13:22:54 +0000 UTCLook, I was a huge fan of this movie when it came out. Must've watched the DVD 20 times at least. But I mean... "iconic driving backwards sequence"? It's a cool stunt, but in the context of the movie its an incredibly dumb thing to do. They're doing a job to stay out of jail and think its wise to goof around on the freeway, endangering themselves and others? Especially right after that dude was definitely crushed to death by that semi. It's fun stunt driving but makes no sense unless the characters are aware they have plot armor. Not everyone is fine with just shutting off their brain and accepting all nonsense that a movie throws at you.🤷

2024-10-10 16:54:41 +0000 UTCPlease do all of these, I need an excuse to actually watch them. I've only really seen videos *about* them. Still, there are things even I'd love to see your reaction to. Damn, everyone's got opinions on ... Fast and Furious of all things. How is "cars go brrr" SO contentious? lmao

2024-10-09 22:37:26 +0000 UTCThat's a great perspective. I had two vocal outbursts during her constantly mocking the actress in the Tokyo Drift reaction. A massive problem for these reactions is she went in with all the negative opinions she's seen others have. I will admit I took offense to her saying the iconic driving backwards sequence should've been taken out of the movie. Shit and the poker game like can we have no fun in our racing movie in Miami ma'am? Her constant predicting the future comments are also becoming another issue. Just wait and watch man ffs. You ruin shit for yourself doing that and in turn ruin it for us. If you ain't got nothing nice to say.. let me watch the movie lol I don't need to hear "BUT WHY" followed by some plot man hole cover statement.

2024-10-09 07:19:33 +0000 UTCI agree
Brian
2024-10-09 00:02:57 +0000 UTCI’ve noticed this trend growing as well. It takes a lot of enjoyment out of a viewing when it’s accompanied by fairly consistent negative and mocking comments. I just don’t see where the fun is in that type of mindset. Buy into a movie for what it is; or if you absolutely know it’s not your thing, avoid it.
Brian
2024-10-08 23:55:54 +0000 UTCPhysics in a Hollywood blockbuster franchise? lol Yeah you could literally say any action movie defies physics or reality lol. It's a movie not real life lol.
Louie
2024-10-08 21:37:48 +0000 UTCEveryone's a critic now huh. I remember when we could watch movies for fun and not try to dissect the ins and outs. It's a turn your brain off movie and you tried watching it with your brain at full power which just led to nothing but negative comments the whole time. You're doing way too much plot fixing comments nowadays too and a lot of them don't make sense. Just chill and vibe with something it doesn't have to be a logical masterpiece.

2024-10-08 07:43:43 +0000 UTCI love that you're reacting to these movies as terrible as they are they are so much campy fun
MightyHobo
2024-10-06 01:08:34 +0000 UTCNever got into this franchise. 🤷♂️ the first movie was enough
Billy B
2024-10-05 22:12:57 +0000 UTCThe "nose rings" on the orange '70 Dodge Challenger are actually thin cables holding in hood pins. For a long time race cars used hood pins to hold their hoods on, and some car manufacturers offered hood pins as a "racey" factory option. Terrible movie, but fun reaction Nat!
Keith Jacobsen
2024-10-05 15:11:45 +0000 UTCThis is the worst one in many ways, but it's still goofy fun cx
Jock
2024-10-05 08:20:42 +0000 UTCYeah this is the worst one, but Tokyo Drift is pretty good. Then 5-7 are a lot of fun.
Alex Caudill
2024-10-05 04:20:58 +0000 UTCI really hope you're able to get through all of them 🙏 Looking forward to these uploads!

2024-10-04 23:37:12 +0000 UTCThis movie did not age well. Damn
adrianR31
2024-10-04 15:16:17 +0000 UTCAnd yes, Miami is awful. Lived there 29 years. Leaving was the best decision I've ever made.

2024-10-04 14:39:53 +0000 UTCThis franchise got SO much better when they embraced the cartoonish and ridonkulous! It's a shame it took five movies to get there 😄
Opti_Frog
2024-10-04 13:01:05 +0000 UTCOH Nattie. If you think this movie was crazy, illogical, bad dialogue ... it doesn't get much better! It gets ridiculous and frankly, cartoonish. Like, defy the laws of physics with the power of "family" silly. Ye have been warned!
Mastervodo
2024-10-04 12:14:18 +0000 UTCI'm sorry Nat I tried watching made it to about 45 minutes. This dialog is so fucking cringe. But Tokyo Drift is my favorite.

2024-10-04 09:50:27 +0000 UTCJust make it to 5,6 and 7

2024-10-04 05:10:12 +0000 UTCLove these!
Peter Moe
2024-10-04 04:58:29 +0000 UTCI cringes so hard when Paul kept sayin "Cuh" it was fuckin awful 😂. Listen, these movies are only going to get worse, with like the exception of 1 or two, so get ready for that hot mess, atleast you can pull an "ejecto seato" if it gets bad lmao. Also weird that your version didn't have the end credit scene, its on mine.
Noctis
2024-10-04 03:43:39 +0000 UTCThat's actually hilarious if true. Bet he kicking himself now that his rap career been dead and Luda making bank with each sequel lol.
Noctis
2024-10-04 03:38:42 +0000 UTCHang in there, Nat. We promise it gets better. lol Your patience will be rewarded.
Giancarlo Gasparin
2024-10-04 02:07:24 +0000 UTCI loved this reaction. I also love this movie. Its corny as heck but its also so nostalgic for me. The post credits scene in the first film just shows Dom driving through Mexico showing that he successfully escaped.
Ashley
2024-10-04 01:44:22 +0000 UTCI actually liked this one. Granted I was fresh out of high school and was in the demographic for it. But omg Tokyo Drift. I'm still burdened by that movie.
john Alexander
2024-10-03 23:50:19 +0000 UTCUgh this was PAINful. Haha. Nats reaction was 100% relatable. 🤣

2024-10-03 21:58:26 +0000 UTCGREAT reaction. On the Fast and Furious craziness 1 to 10 scale… 2 fast 2 furious is at like a 4. And if this reaction series doesn’t make it to Fast Five it’s a legit travesty and a tragedy. I will never recover.
djKENTO
2024-10-03 21:26:03 +0000 UTCThe thing with the fast and furious is that Vin Diesel didn't want to do sequel at the time, not for fast and furious as Dominic Toretto, not for xXx as Xander Cage, not as Riddick after Pitch Black. He didn't want to be type cast and keep trying different roles.
David Bourgeois
2024-10-03 21:12:05 +0000 UTCJa Rule turned down this movie because he thought he was "too big" for it. That's why Luda got the role.
LionBro
2024-10-03 20:58:09 +0000 UTCHa ha dont think it was in 2001. DVDs and laserdiscs were still the format. It came out on blu ray eventually. I watched it on the 20th anniversay edition today 😄
Darryl Low
2024-10-03 20:47:34 +0000 UTCThe best way to think about these earlier F&F movies is like the MCU before the Avengers assembled. We gotta get origin stories for the Fast Family before they go full comic book splash page.
Michael Ford III
2024-10-03 20:43:09 +0000 UTCMy nostalgic heart loves 2 and 3 in this franchise even though they might be considered the weakest ones, but please keep the series going, they slowly turn into more of action movie style then racing. I will say Tokyo Drift has the best soundtrack of them all imo. Also even though the crew from the first movie aren't around, 2 and 3 are still part of the family😉
HeyItsSuper
2024-10-03 19:34:04 +0000 UTCWas blu ray even a thing in 2001? New lore unlocked
N
2024-10-03 19:25:41 +0000 UTCThis is definitely generally considered the worst one. Tokyo Drift gets mixed reviews, because it's a completely different cast. However part 4 until like 7 are generally considered the best. So I hope you continue into those, even if you don't like Tokyo Drift a lot.
Kevin Van heemskerk
2024-10-03 19:23:46 +0000 UTCHey Nat, so Tokyo Drift is a different cast but there's one member in particular who will be vital for the next movies (although it was released 3rd, Tokyo Drift is actually set after Fast 6) For credit scenes, I know I said the first one has a post-credit scene but it wasn't important and you didn't miss anything. Fast 5 has a mid-credit scene, Fast 6 has a post-credit (which relates to Tokyo Drift) and there's also post-credit scenes in 9 and 10.
Adam O Driscoll
2024-10-03 19:20:40 +0000 UTCSorry but I'm not a fan, it's just not my kind of films, I'll keep watching as I enjoy Nats reactions. Sorry to all those who love these films.
Baggie Mark
2024-10-03 19:16:16 +0000 UTC"Fuhget about it, cuh!" is the greatest line in cinematic history.
Andy
2024-10-03 18:49:04 +0000 UTCOn a scale of 1 to 10 it rates soft ice cream. Classic.
Essero Eson
2024-10-03 18:15:23 +0000 UTCAfter all the credits have rolled on the Blu-ray of the first movie, there is a very short scene of Vin Diesel showing that he is living down Mexico way 😊
Darryl Low
2024-10-03 18:14:59 +0000 UTC2 Fast is usually considered the worst of the series. The third film is a lot better IMO and is the first one directed by Justin Lin (who directed the best entries in my opinion) and the 4th one is when the "family" returns to the series.
K.N.
2024-10-03 18:07:09 +0000 UTCThere is no epilogue, there is a prelude to this one which shows Brian’s time leading up to Miami. Prolly find it on YouTube

Ashley
2024-10-03 17:34:46 +0000 UTCfrom Tokyo Drift onwards the franchise ramps up in quality. I swear to god it's a bump in quality from here on. I promise.
djKENTO
2024-10-03 17:16:23 +0000 UTCI think the movies improve from here. All of them are pretty goofy, but the writing is better from what I remember later on
SoaringTurtle
2024-10-03 17:10:47 +0000 UTC"The family" was definitely sorely missing from the franchise early on, but it comes back strong starting with Fast Five.
Giancarlo Gasparin
2024-10-03 17:01:05 +0000 UTCHopefully the link works/posts and my apologizes in advance for A) the quality, it's not my work and B) to anyone else who may have already shared this or similar clip! Here is a clip I found on the YouTubes of "The Fast and The Furious" post credits scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y13VdusvUcQ Sorry that the quality isn't all that good and if I wasn't at work I could probably make a better clip for you from one of the DVD or Digital versions of the movie I own.
PopeyeNelson
2024-10-03 16:45:18 +0000 UTCOh yeah such a big spoiler. If driving a car from a building into another building is considered a spoiler that says more about the ridiculously thin plot than anything else.
jamie jones
2024-10-03 15:52:07 +0000 UTCI wish she would continue things like this doing more movie series going forward. As long as it’s around other polled films I don’t think it’s too big of a deal
Michael Bergeron
2024-10-03 15:39:47 +0000 UTCTokyo is a decent movie on its own. It does have a whole new cast, but without spoiling specifics from later movies, they eventually do link it in with the rest of the series, and it actually works really well once you get the context. It's better than 2Fast for sure. After Tokyo is when the "family" begins and the story starts to come together, and then it's off to the races (pun intended).
Josh Noe
2024-10-03 15:38:29 +0000 UTCI really hope you do consider to keep watching these, I always found 2 and 3 to be a bit goofy but still fun. 4-7 I really enjoy, 4 maybe being the worst of those but still good. They start getting more and more ridiculous but I don’t think it’s all that bad until 8. Still most of these are good movies you should try to enjoy as just some mindless fun
Michael Bergeron
2024-10-03 15:36:37 +0000 UTCThe lackluster Bastard sequel of the series. 2 Dull 2 Dumb shouldn't even be apart of the series. They should have ignored this one. Fast 8 9 X are better and F8 F9 aren't that good. Jason Momoa was the only good thing about Fast X. Weird Diesel at the time didn't want to do the sequel and this was the best they could come up with. I can't wait till Tokyo Drift.
Redrum Ritual
2024-10-03 15:32:32 +0000 UTCRidiculous and dumb is dropping spoilers because a content creator is watching something you don't want them to. If you don't like the series, there's no need for you to be in this thread.
Josh Noe
2024-10-03 15:32:16 +0000 UTCIt’s no secret that these movies are ridiculous and obviously not the greatest but Nat’s biases always heavily influence her reactions. I’ve noticed for a long time that anytime she watches something that she’s heard a lot of good things about or a lot of not so good things about she heavily leans into that for the reaction. Don’t really mind either way myself just something I’ve noticed. Think she might enjoy these movies less than she otherwise would if she wasn’t coming in with biases. Again not to say they’re good movies but I find them pretty fun popcorn flicks with plenty of laughs and entertainment.
Dante
2024-10-03 15:23:50 +0000 UTCYeah you’re right obviously, but things still make a lot more sense than in the later movies which are just batshit crazy, don’t you think?
Lukas Weimar
2024-10-03 15:14:38 +0000 UTCMaybe things just dont make sense in these movies. Cant expect her to just get stupider before she watches something
jamie jones
2024-10-03 15:11:42 +0000 UTCI hope she’ll watch the next few less biased than this one, like because she was expecting it to be bad she jumped to saying that things make no sense too often as opposed to having a little bit of patience and attention as usual…
Lukas Weimar
2024-10-03 15:08:23 +0000 UTCUgh, these movies are so ridiculous and dumb. They literally get to the point of driving cars between skyscrapers from window to window. So much better stuff to react to. Is it seriously the plan to do every single one of them?
jamie jones
2024-10-03 15:07:48 +0000 UTCDamn that sucks
Erik Stevenson
2024-10-03 14:59:54 +0000 UTCLoved this one as a kid but that was before I actually got into filmmaking. Still... enjoyable-ish lol
Rico
2024-10-03 14:59:41 +0000 UTCNat, if you'd like to compare and contrast other car centric movies check out the following three: 1. Le Mans(1971) Steve McQueen, 2. Ford v Ferrari 3. Talladega Nights The Ballad of Ricky Bobby - not sure if Will Ferrell is your type of humor.
John Liebling
2024-10-03 14:58:25 +0000 UTCOne of his best lines ever! I'm "hungry" for more Fast and Furious!!
PopeyeNelson
2024-10-03 14:32:33 +0000 UTCI’ll be the Tokyo Drift defender. It’s the first one I saw so I have a kind of affection for it. Also as fun as the middle trilogy is it’s a mistake to actually think any of them are good. They are only relatively good which means you need Drift as your appetiser to set you up for four. Also that kid’s accent was worth the 10 dollars I probably paid for a ticket back in the day.
Jacob King
2024-10-03 14:30:30 +0000 UTCWe appreciate you sticking through this one to get to the better ones lol
Giancarlo Gasparin
2024-10-03 14:18:25 +0000 UTCF&F wasn't in a poll, she just wants to watch as many of them as she can before she finds them too dumb so yeah there won't be any polls for these ones :)
Danishprince
2024-10-03 14:14:39 +0000 UTCThis one is one of my favourite for nostalgia reasons even though objectively it is cheesy and kind of badly made. There was a 6 minute prelude short film on YT they released that shows everything that happened to Brian between the first film and the second.
Herb123
2024-10-03 14:03:25 +0000 UTCSo are we doing this entire series without it being on another poll?
Erik Stevenson
2024-10-03 14:00:15 +0000 UTCNat, one thing you should rememebr, is these movies are supposed to be chaotic as apposed to realistic. Just dumb fun and you can tell the cast has really enjoys being a part of them. Especially Paul Walker. I say, don't give up in them until after you watch the 7th and final film Paul Walker is in.
Thats MR. Baldamort
2024-10-03 13:59:27 +0000 UTCIf the plan is to make a video of you reacting to all the movies as if you watched them in one sitting you should really be wearing the same outfit for every movie.
Chris H
2024-10-03 13:55:42 +0000 UTCYou can say what you want, this will always be my favorite fast and furious movie. And Tokyo Drift I will always dislike. Rewatched alot both of them... still the same opinion, Tokyo Drift to me has trigger points of extreme toxic masculinity that is actually presented as desired by women, while 2 fast 2 furious is just 2 very good friends enjoying a great time and having a wonderful bromance. And it's interesting but these dialogues to me seam more authentic than anything the movies delivered later. Edit: I also want to add there were a lot of scenes that you didn't understand and laughed about that actually were explained. Biggest example I guess is Veronica being wet, cause she swam a lil part to the boat.
KaffeeKind
2024-10-03 13:55:35 +0000 UTCImportant things to know about the Fast & Furious movies: 1. Nothing is impossible and the more crazy a thing seems, the more likely it is to appear in one of them. 2. NOS will make any car go impossibly fast, impossibly quickly. 3. There's always a higher gear for them to change into :D
Danishprince
2024-10-03 13:51:35 +0000 UTC“I said forget about it cuhh” one of the best memes ever 🤣

2024-10-03 13:46:12 +0000 UTCThis one's a lot of fun especially if you grew up in Miami. If anything is going to deter anyone it's Tokyo drift. With the exception of a fan favorite character we're introduced to it's the weakest in the franchise. The 4th is where the series becomes self aware.
adrianR31
2024-10-03 13:29:16 +0000 UTCFirst off, thanks for this reaction Nat 🙏. I beg you to not give up after Tokyo Drift if you don't enjoy it. Without spoiling anything, it doesn't have the original characters, but it plays a vital part for the future movies if you continue.
Adam O Driscoll
2024-10-03 13:28:54 +0000 UTCI'm not a Fast and Furious fan. Tokyo Drift does have a special place in my heart. Enjoy the vibes everyone.
Julian G
2024-10-03 13:24:31 +0000 UTCFrom 4 onwards is when it starts to get consistent. It's like the Mission Impossible films.
Connor Ellis
2024-10-03 13:18:07 +0000 UTCThis one's a lot of fun too. If anything is going to deter anyone it's Tokyo drift. The weakest in the franchise (with the exception of a fan favorite character we meet). The 4th movie is where the franchise becomes self aware.
adrianR31
2024-10-03 13:17:49 +0000 UTCI knew this was gonna be your thoughts lol please don't give up after Tokyo drift, fast and furious four through six are complete bangers, especially five! that's when the actual story picks up! I promise you'll enjoy those!
dieselbeast
2024-10-03 13:13:29 +0000 UTCTokyo Drift is probably the weakest one. This one, I saw with my father in the theaters right after high school. We both agreed that it was dumb fun, emphasis on the dumb! Although, I will say that compared to most of what passes for action movies today, I do appreciate the lack of CGI and the reliance on practical racing. That's something the franchise loses in the future as they view the laws of physics more as guidelines than hard rules.
David Sumner
2024-10-03 13:13:26 +0000 UTCI absolutely love this one, just pure chaos and idiocy - Perfect movie for when the brain needs to be switched off :D

2024-10-03 13:08:51 +0000 UTCThe fast and furious movies are a guilty pleasure for me. Hope you get until at least 7 to watch the evolution from car racing to basically superhero movies.

2024-10-03 13:07:34 +0000 UTCHappy Thursday Nat. Not watched this one for a while so I can't remember much about it 😊 Well if nothing else, that was certainly a lot of fun watching with you today 😄 No.4 is where the story starts again and you get some consistency with the cast and the style of movie, but they do get bigger and bigger as it goes on. Thanks for a fun reaction today Nat 💛
