The original cast wasn't in the 2 movie because Diesel wanted more artist control and since they didn't give it to him and couldn't sign him they changed the story line. 2fast 2 furious was not well received so they decided to switch it up with tokyo drift and started with another cast but that also didn't go well. Then the stupid finally gave diesel want he wanted with more control and then the movies started getting better.

I could finally stop rolling my eyes at ALL the dialogue, and the car stuff had some neat ideas and very cool shots. I now don't want to imagine watching the rest of them without Natalie. Please keep going, even if you need a break. And like, your words say "This is dumb", but the vibe says you're enjoying this. You like this, don't you. Go on. Admit it. This isn't entirely awful, is it? I just watched you react to 3 of these in a week. That was not a react-person who hates this. That, or you're really good at keeping the gun that's pointed at you just out of frame. Like, REALLY good.

If only they put that same energy they put into the action into writing better dialogue, people would take it more seriously. I spotted two actors from Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul in thus movie. One was Tuco's stooge and another one was one of the two brothers who was Tuco's cousin.

So good and corny I guess. But they are worth a watch if only once, there is crossover storylines throughout them too which is nice and ties things together and ends some stories and starts new ones, which after having seen previous movies you go ohhh fuck ok then. You are right also in you shouldnt watch them in a big bunch cos it would definitely become too much fast.

But if you don't enjoy these movies because of physics...you probably shouldn't continue coz the rest are not gonna make you like them more (though the next one is arguably the strongest installment). These movies are basically the instant ramen of the movie business. They provide sustenance to people's crave for entertainment, but barely any substance. There are a lot of flaws in all of them but I think a lot of people appreciate the passion for providing entertainment to as wide range of people as possible. And frankly, these are the movies that have the highest rewatch potentials for me. Like, Parasite is undoubtedly a masterpiece, but I don't think I've ever rewatched it. But Marvels (pre phase 4) and these movies, many of times. A movie certainly can have both high rewatchability and entertainment value, but those are vey rare.

Like come on how can you not get that whole mexiko border thing or denounce the movie as senseless after not having the patience to wait 5 minutes for the explanation of Letties death. It just bugs me that her bias makes her jump the fence on criticism too quickly and not celebrate the good moments buried underneath all the movies other weaknesses (which they have plenty of and are rightfully criticized). She's been told the movies are bad and now she over criticizes, you see where I'm coming from?

Especially starting from this point and onwards these movies know exactly what they are and heavily lean into that which is what the fanbase loves them for. She’s priming herself to dislike it before the opening credits even roll. I would just say these movies clearly aren’t for her and that’s fine. They aren’t really the type of movie meant to be picked apart they’re just fun outrageous popcorn action flicks with characters that many people grew attached to over the years

It’s been that way for a very long time and it’s very clear. If you watch any of these reactions along with her it’s clear she comes in with an eye of trying to find things to complain about and nitpick on. She seems to be taking these movies far more seriously than they even take themselves. It’s not that serious.

It has some meaningful plot points and character development but the whole drug tunnel concept didn't really do it for me and I think there were a lot of plot holes on that side of things. Fast Five is a good one and also very definitely will have a mid credits scene right after the animated/cgi part. From this point on these are basically super hero movies.

2024-10-10 14:25:42 +0000 UTCI don’t remember what exact year I started listening to reggaeton, but I grew up with it. Anyone who grew up listening to old-school reggaeton has heard of Don Omar. For many, he’s considered one of the pioneers of the genre. “Dile” and “Dale Don Dale” were two of his first songs as well as two of several reggaeton classics. Both were from his first album The Last Don. At the end of Tokyo Drift, you could hear a song of his called Los Bandoleros. It’s a collab he made with fellow reggaeton musician Tego Calderon. Both Don Omar and Tego Calderon appear in the beginning of this movie speaking Spanish. Also in the end credits to Tokyo Drift, you can hear another one of his songs called Conteo which means countdown. That song wasn’t just in the movie’s soundtrack. It also made its’ way into Don Omar’s second studio album King of Kings which also includes “Angelito” (little angel) and Salió El Sol (The sun is out).
