Help me pick a movie!
Added 2024-10-23 16:00:08 +0000 UTCFull disclosure, I've seen all of these films once. Just once, and each viewing was many years ago.
So I figured it'd be good to combine these all in a poll together. Looking forward to seeing what y'all pick!

I am anxiously waiting for the day that you wind up reacting to Fight Club! Love that movie so much. :)

2024-11-07 12:37:52 +0000 UTCI'm not a big fan of watching someone rewatch a movie, so I appreciate when you are upfront about which movies you have already seen. I know people forget individual scenes when they rewatch, but they still have a really good idea where the film is going, so there are not going to be any big surprises or revelations for them.

2024-10-26 01:32:08 +0000 UTCYou gotta put The Prestige on one of these polls!

2024-10-24 19:28:23 +0000 UTCI wasn’t a fan but I would like to see Nat’s reaction. Would prefer reactions to Prometheus and (especially) Covenant tho tbh.

2024-10-24 16:36:37 +0000 UTCWith her memory for movies she has seen before, I'm not worried.

2024-10-24 03:52:33 +0000 UTCThe first 20 mins of Inglorious is some of the best film making ever
Gavinmc
2024-10-23 22:15:45 +0000 UTCi agree totally

2024-10-23 21:02:55 +0000 UTCAlien Romulus in a poll soon? 👀
Daniel McGuinness
2024-10-23 20:27:13 +0000 UTCFrom this list I would pick Fight Club. A second viewing reveals details missed on the first watch. All movies on this list are worth watching more than once though

2024-10-23 18:38:58 +0000 UTCI hope this shows up in a poll soon. This and Furiosa.

2024-10-23 18:27:52 +0000 UTCI guess the question is if she remembers why it would be different

2024-10-23 18:27:23 +0000 UTCoh wack, I just assumed given they share a title. that seems a little cheeky
Henry Orchard
2024-10-23 18:13:00 +0000 UTCThe original? Its not a remake, Tarantino just took inspiration from the old ones title for his movies titles.

2024-10-23 18:04:02 +0000 UTCYes. She's been traveling a lot this last month, plus it's Natmare season, so she wasn't going to have time to do movies + a new TV series. She plans on doing Arcane S2 in November, if all goes well.

2024-10-23 18:00:32 +0000 UTCInglourious basterds is absolutely amazing. (This is how you spell it)

2024-10-23 18:00:06 +0000 UTCHelp people, this is my weekly comment. Asking for your support for her to watch SICARIO. THANKS 😊

2024-10-23 17:50:59 +0000 UTCDoes anyone know why she hasn’t been watching tv shows recently?

2024-10-23 17:22:12 +0000 UTCWhy something you've already seen before?

2024-10-23 17:08:11 +0000 UTCFinally get to watch Inglorious! LOL!

2024-10-23 17:06:21 +0000 UTCThere is no wrong answer, but I think Fight Club might be the best answer, as it's not wearing literal military war story dress in the same sense as the other three. I'm most interested in Natalie's second-viewing take on both the film's style and its provocations about our society. I'm also interested in the community's comments, especially from those who've not seen it before.
Chet Brusk
2024-10-23 17:03:07 +0000 UTCWhy 4 films you've seen before? Another palate cleanser? Between these 4, I'd say, like others have said, Fight Club is the most rewarding 2nd watch, because it really changes how you watch it. They're all good films, though.
Mike Hell
2024-10-23 16:59:30 +0000 UTCI voted for Apocalypse Now, because I think it would make for quite a trippy reaction, but why four rewatches? Have we already run out of films you haven't seen?
Andrew Harrison
2024-10-23 16:40:45 +0000 UTCtough for me to choose between Fight Club and Ingluorious! both fantastic movies!
Crash Raynor
2024-10-23 16:35:29 +0000 UTCNat should watch the early Sean Penn movie Bad Boys (1983).

2024-10-23 16:26:36 +0000 UTCI don’t even know any of these movies :(
Kayla Rose
2024-10-23 16:26:20 +0000 UTCI vote Alien Romulus
Kayla Rose
2024-10-23 16:25:57 +0000 UTCI went with Full Metal Jacket, but I do enjoy all of these selections.

2024-10-23 16:25:33 +0000 UTCNow, I don't know about y'all, but I sure as hell didn't come down from old Valyria , cross five thousand miles of the Dothraki Sea, fight my way through half of Westeros and jump on top of a fuckin' dragon to teach Cersei lessons in humanity. Cersei ain't got no humanity. She's a Daenerys -hatin', mass murderin' maniac and she needs to be dee-stroyed.

2024-10-23 16:20:40 +0000 UTCFight Club is probably the most entertaining of these when you watch it for the second time.
Stephen Ray
2024-10-23 16:20:34 +0000 UTCThis is a tough one. 🤣 Okay, Fight Club it is. Of all of them, I haven't seen it in a while, my second would be Apocalypse Now.
José R. Colón
2024-10-23 16:19:55 +0000 UTCBeen a loooong time since I’ve seen Fight Club so that’s my pick. Full Metal Jacket would be good too but the others I already watched very recently.
Razor Bikini
2024-10-23 16:19:02 +0000 UTCAll great movies. I think Fight Club will be best for a re-watch purpose. Because you now know the reveal, on a re-watch, it will be a totally different experience.
Bryan Erickson
2024-10-23 16:17:30 +0000 UTCRead the caption people, she has seen all these already. This is about a rewatch, and the only movie on here that changes dramatically the 2nd time you watch it is Fight Club.
Jon
2024-10-23 16:13:49 +0000 UTCI could never vote for Inglorious Bastards, if only because I think you should watch the original first, what a masterpiece that is
Henry Orchard
2024-10-23 16:12:40 +0000 UTCInglorious Bastards for me just to see her reaction to Christoph Walz's iconic performance in that film. She's already seen him in Django, but this would be his first foray into Tarantino films.
Game Wizard001
2024-10-23 16:10:30 +0000 UTCNot sure if it's on Nat's list but the Rober Downey Jr. Sherlock Holmes movies? I think that would be a great watch and also see how Nat compares it to the show version by the BBC
James Bartley
2024-10-23 16:09:34 +0000 UTCWow Nat there's a great choice in this poll, I'll be happy to watch any of them. Think I'll vote Inglorious as I've only seen it once.. As always thanks for all the great content.
Baggie Mark
2024-10-23 16:07:12 +0000 UTCInglorious and Fight Club are the better. Full metal jacket and apocalypse now are stale. Should probably check out Once Upon a Time in Hollywood soon. A clever subversion similar to Basterds.
adrianR31
2024-10-23 16:07:00 +0000 UTCAlright now this is getting serious all such great flick..Apocalypse possibly the only true must watch. But imma lean into my QT bias 😂
Charlie Keeler
2024-10-23 16:06:16 +0000 UTCI would go with Fight Club, but it's also the one that has the most reduced impact from being a rewatch. It's still a great film though so will still be happy if it wins.
Gavin Kinsey
2024-10-23 16:05:15 +0000 UTCNot really any of these I have a strong desire to rewatch so skipping this poll - Hope everyone else has a blast with this one :D

2024-10-23 16:05:08 +0000 UTCHappy Wednesday Nat. Have only seen Apocalypse Now out of all of these. Going with Fight Club this time around. Still eager to watch it with you. Have an awesome day 💛
