FIRST TIME WATCHING: Furious 7

Oh boy...this one hit me HARD. I'm honestly surprised at how the 5th, 6th, and 7th movies have been better (imo) than the first 4 of this franchise! Never would have guessed I'd still be watching this franchise...

Here is this week's schedule:
MON: Furious 7
WED: Poll
THU: Undecided Movie
(I have something in mind, but not sure if it will work so I'm holding off on announcing what this reaction will be)
FRI: The Wild Robot

As always, thank you for your support here on Patreon. Until the next one, take care and stay golden :)

Original Movie: Furious 7

Comments

She did the reaction, but its not in the collection. From the main page just search "furious" and I found it.

Nate Schomer

Thank you for introducing this series to me.

Lynden

did something happen to fast & furious 6 just asking?

PabloGreen26

The whole family thing is memed a lot, but without fail everyone gets sucked into the emotion of it. Especially because you realise before long that the whole family aspect refers to the cast as much as the characters.

Jeff Clark

5-7 had a real great groove going. Other than the first one I really like these 3 the most. I do hope you carry on though just to see you react to all the crazy moments and to SEE THE FAMILY

Josh R

Han’s name being “Han Seoul-Oh” (solo) 😭 too much

Daniel McGuinness

I remember exactly where I was when I first read the news of Paul Walker ☹️ crazy how things feel so much more real when it’s someone you grew up watching. The movie was pushed a full year after the accident, and the atmosphere was somber but felt very respectful to Paul

Daniel McGuinness

Also I think you will love X. Its wild. Jason Momoa really stole the show.

Ashley

It never fails to impress me how James Wan came into this franchise for what turned out to be one of the most troubled Hollywood productions in recent memory, and came out with one of the best action blockbusters of the decade, and arguably the peak of the series. He doesn’t get enough credit imo. Unfortunately the series is never even close to this good again, but there is still fun to be had. Justin Lin even returned to direct the (imo) underrated F9, which is nice to see.

Razor Bikini

So now you know. What's The Fast And The Furious series about? Family. On and off the screen. They were, and still are family.

Ranger Maverick

Yeah would love to see Nat do the Mission Impossible films in this format. Probably the greatest action film franchise of all time imo.

Razor Bikini

Scenes with Paul Walker's brother ...Brian puts his son in the back seat of a minivan. Brian is looking at a computer, with Mia (Jordana Brewster) comforting him. Brian shares an embrace with Mia. The family, including Brian, looking out over Los Angeles, pondering their next move. Driving a car while Dom (Vin Diesel) tends to a wounded Mr. Nobody (Kurt Russell). Sitting at the pool with Dom, Brian smiles. Being rocked around as a passenger in a car chase with Dom driving. After being tossed from a car and shot at, Walker holds up what looks to be a computer hard drive.

Joshua Decker

I actually agree on that. I’m pretty sure Natalie would enjoy what it has to offer.

Aldo Gonzales

Shoshana from the Perfect Mix thought his “woman” line was cringe.

Aldo Gonzales

It wasn't negative, just a fun remark.

Heliastein

It's not equivalent though. Slurs and insults within a group is different from when an "outsider" uses them. For example, the n-word has different connotations depending on the ethnicity of the person using it.

Opti_Frog

This movie is very emotional because of Paul Walker's death. There's been talk about bringing the Brian O Connor character back in the form of one of his brothers since his brother's were fill ins in unfinished Brian O Conner scenes. Natalie, if you ever see this in a sea of your other subscribers, Furious 7 is the best one and the peak of the serious. After this one is a cheesy B Movie nose drive sequels.

Redrum Ritual

I'M SO READYYYY

Natalie Gold

haha fair enough...by the end he won me over with his last "woman" line

Natalie Gold

Can't remember the last time I cried but the tribute took me out the second time

OttoBee

I am a pretty unemotional guy. I can't even remember the last time i cried for something in my personal life, but this ending/tribute broke me when i first saw it. And it still does.

Yoshi D'Haen

I love that you predicted future plots 15 minutes into your very first FF reaction(fast driving thiefs hired to catch fast driving criminals).

Patrick

She is yeah

Danishprince

Please watch Running Scared if you can, Paul Walkers performance in that is top tier

Simon Bauer

A couple fun facts: The phone conversation between Mia and Brian towards the end of the movie was particularly hard for Jordana Brewster to film. Paul had already filmed his scenes and Jordana had to do hers after his passing while hearing his voice on the other end. Also, "Mr. Nobody" was going to end of being Brian's father, but they had to scrap that storyline after he passed.

Giancarlo Gasparin

It's kind of funny that Nat is so stuck on Hobbs calling every ladies in the movie, woman. But she's calling all of them bitch here and there xD It made me chuckle!

Heliastein

are you going to watch arcane season 2 when it releases in a few days? :D <3

Çlôud

Hobs and shaw was actually more fun than some of the last movies in the franchises in my opinion!

Heliastein

Yep many scenes, even early were Paul Walker's brothers with a full CG Paul Walker head replacement, including back at the house, when Brian was putting little Jack in the car seat and the bomb went off. And when they jumped out of the hypercar and the shots held like they were going to get shot, that wasn't Paul either.

Connor Ellis

I would definitely finish the franchise but then I like all of these movies anyway - good popcorn fun. There's only 3 left before the "final" one comes out - 2026 I think. I would also include the spin-off Hobbs and Shaw. That's also fun.

Toasty Overlord

This is my favourite movie along side Fast five. So glad this series was chosen. Look forward to the next one technically only 3 movies left if you discount Hobbs and Shaw so over the hump.

James Bartley

I second that motion, she said she likes a tom cruise movie and we've seen top gun so why not.

James Bartley

Natalie is all of us. While I agree that this was pretty much the high water mark of the franchise, I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss what comes after. There are important stories still to be told, twists and bends, and spoilers I won't share. There's also a whole lot of stupid ridiculous nonsense, but is there any reason that can't be fun too?

Ryan Dodds

It still gets me everytime when that song at the end starts playing and they show clips of Paul Walker.

Shaun Bloom

As a car enthusiast and fan of this franchise, this movie marked the end for me. What they accomplished here, while losing one of the main characters was truly impressive and took a ton a creativity that they deserve credit for. From here on out, it was just a cash grab, sadly.

Giancarlo Gasparin

Agreed! Mission Impossible would definitely be a ride.

Giancarlo Gasparin

Based on everything I know I think you will enjoy the rest of the movies for every reason you stated in the outro. the first few were corny or easy to roast. but still fun. then 5 6 and 7 were fantastic. the rest will be a crazy mix of both.

Ashley

This was the last one I watched, and it was still pretty meh for me. It was a nice send off for Paul Walker, though. I think it would be kind of fun to do this type of movie marathon for other franchises, too. Like the Bourne series or Rocky/Creed, or even better: Mission Impossible! Think about it :)

Mike Hell

For Paul got me.. :'(

TN

Honestly she should’ve watched Loki season 2 before Deadpool & Wolverine.

Aldo Gonzales

Loki Season 2!! Agatha All Along!! I understand skipping the bad MCU shows but ur missing the good ones nat 😖

Lawson

End it now! 7 was the perfect ending for this franchise!

David Crabtree

Rondy rousey she was in ufc then went to wwe

Joseph salazar

Well be ready to come back down to earth with the next two, unfortunately

Rico

They did a great send-off for Paul. Can't wait to watch this with you!

Chen

Love the content, as always. What a fun journey this franchise has been so far. Would you ever consider watching Over the Garden Wall? It’s one season and it fits the fall vibes perfectly.

BettleBug

For me this was the last one I could enjoy - The previous ones were all dumb but enjoyable but from here on they just became too ridiculous and lost all enjoyment imo :D

Danishprince

Before we get into the facts, I just wanna provide a heads-up. Fate of the Furious and F9: The Fast Saga have extended editions respectively running 12 minutes and 7 minutes longer. 1.) Tyrese Gibson was longtime friends with Paul Walker. After hearing about the accident, he went to pay his respects at the crash site in Santa Clarita where people had set up a memorial for Paul. 2.) A little over a year ago, Tyrese reunited with Paul's Nissan Skyline from 2 Fast 2 Furious and hugged it. Seeing the old sports car brought back fond memories of his time with Paul. He felt the presence of his friend and brother was with him as well as with the car. Here’s the link to the reunion if you’d like to see: https://youtu.be/Zn54Mlmx0XY?si=XjiYmK8CyE7LO3LA 3.) In case you don’t know who portrays Mando, that’s none other than the King of Bachata himself Romeo Santos. I grew up listening to Aventura since 2005. They did exactly what their second studio album said and broke the rules of bachata by implementing other genres like rock and hip-hop. After Aventura disbanded, Romeo went on to make five solo albums. One of them called Utopia actually has Romeo reunite with his bandmates for the closing song called Inmortal. Romeo and Aventura changed the game and paved the way for other musicians to enter the bachata spotlight. One of the more notable ones to this day is Prince Royce. He started out by doing a bilingual cover of the late Ben E. King’s Stand By Me back in 2009. They even got to perform the song together for Premios Juventud on Univisión. Here’s a link to the performance as well. https://youtu.be/GOe8cpyjgWw?si=oKYLprGcohYYrMIq Royce (that’s his middle name by the way; his full name is Geoffrey Royce Rojas) contributed to this movie’s soundtrack with a song called My Angel. It played when Ramsey walked out of the water. 4.) This movie had some of the best fight choreo in the franchise along with 5 and 6. Of course I loved seeing Dom and Deckard one-on-one, but I also gotta give props to Brian vs. Kiet (Mose Jakande’s right hand.) His actor Tony Jaa has an extensive fighting background which includes but isn’t limited to Muay Boran, Tae Kwon Do, and Krabi-Krabong. Tony had already appeared in several films before this one, but this is his Hollywood debut. 5.) By the way, my favorite funny moments were Brian and Kiet realizing the bus was headed for a cliff before bolting for the door and both of them saying too slow to each other. I also laughed at Tej going “you can’t touch this” and pulling the window up. (It actually took me a while to realize that T-Pain was at the party.) 6.) And finally, this movie was the last big budget production to feature the original 6th street viaduct. Sometime after filming wrapped up, the Los Angeles City Council ordered to have the bridge demolished since it was gradually cracking. It took them six years due to several delays including the pandemic, but they finally opened a new bridge about two years ago.

Aldo Gonzales

what a pleasant surprise thought we would get this later in the week, but I'm here for it!

dieselbeast

Happy Monday Nat. Hope you had a good weekend. This Furious does indeed pack a punch at the end 😭 I went to see The Wild Robot at the weekend and absolutely loved it. I can't wait to watch your reaction when it hits digital here in a few weeks 😊 I said it last week, but I'm going to say it again anyway. Watching these movies with you is so much fun Nat. You just bring another level to the chaos 😄 I forgot how powerful the ending montage was, especially after we have whisked our way through the 20 years with you here in a matter of weeks 😥 Thanks for watching this movie series on your channel Nat. I hope you'll continue right to the end, and you'll also catch Hobbs and Shaw too as it's just as much fun 💛

Darryl Low

After how much crying there was in 6 I knew this one would wreck lol
