Fun-Fact about Hans Landa... When Tarantino wrote his character he thought he had to scrap it, because it would be a nightmare to cast a fitting actor, who has the right charisma and was fluent in three languages - then he met Waltz xD

2024-12-01 21:14:23 +0000 UTCHi Nat, thanks for another great reaction, with regards to the intro and outro, I think a short outro like you did on this reaction would be nice but I totally understand if you don't always have time to do one. Thanks again for the great content.

2024-11-04 21:25:44 +0000 UTCI would love raw outros. Fun fact about Donny Donowitz's character: The medal looking things he is wearing around his neck in chapter 2 are German dog tags. The implication is he's beating Nazi soldiers to death to the point they are unrecognizable then taking the dog tags so they can't be identified and given a proper burial by their families. The baseball bat he carries is signed with the names of Jewish family members related to the people of his home town who were murdered by the Nazis. The Nazis deprived them of their loved ones. He is paying them back in kind.

2024-11-03 18:03:08 +0000 UTCGreat movie . Arguably Tarantino’s best. Great reaction. Enjoyed watching with you. ❤️ If you like action from this time period, might I recommend a movie titled, “ Sisu.” Kinda a cross between this movie, and John Wick.

2024-11-03 16:40:33 +0000 UTCI feel like you gotta do intro and outro. I watch for your perspective and opinion and by the time it hits YouTube depending on the film I may or may not watch just to hear the closing thoughts. Plus it is also interesting to hear immediate reactions and then your opinion once you had a bit of time to sit on it. Did your opinion change, sometimes movies hit a day later and I notice I can’t stop thinking about it even tho it may not be what I expected upon first viewing.

2024-11-03 10:46:38 +0000 UTCSo few movies got French language right, mostly when I hear French, my ears bleed, such a relief. Glad I'm not the only one that's bummed out that we don't get afterthought. Yeah that's what we love, your raw reaction.

2024-11-03 04:53:34 +0000 UTCThe strudel scene was clearly another example of Landa playing with his food. The ordering milk for her is one but the strudel and cream has hidden meaning. To make strudel (at least at the time) would require pig fat, which is non-Kosher. He clearly knows this and is just a sadist rubbing a Jew's nose in it. Amazing scene though.

2024-11-02 06:11:24 +0000 UTCTbh, I'd rather get the raw outro, if there's no outro, I wont ever see it cause I don't really remember to go check back on YouTube 1-3 weeks laters to see the outro. The rambling is fine I'd still prefer to get that over nothing. Good chunk of the fun about those full length watch along format is to get your thoughts about it after the fact. Just my opinion!

2024-11-02 04:22:20 +0000 UTCI'd rather you post the unedited outro rather than have nothing personally. Always feels a bit jarring when the reaction ends almost right after the movie

2024-11-02 00:31:09 +0000 UTCWhen I saw this in theaters it was at the Alamo Drafthouse RITZ location which is sadly now Joe Rogan’s comedy club. But that night when I went, the moment it was Nazi Night in Paris and David Bowie starts playing they unfurled Nazi banners from the speaker boxes. There are photos of it online still. Immersive and terrifying at the same time. I don’t think you could do something l ike that for a regular screening but Drafthouse is weird and special like that.

2024-11-01 23:37:53 +0000 UTCYou read the name wrong. It was Julie Dreyfus, not Julia Louise-Dreyfus. She was one of Goebbels' French Interpreter.

2024-11-01 23:08:40 +0000 UTCNat, please put One Piece live action on the next tv show poll. You can't understand how much I wish you saw that before the Avatar live action hot garbage. Its so much better!!

2024-11-01 18:44:36 +0000 UTCI hope Hateful Eight gets into future polls since that's one of the few remaining Tarantino films that hasn't been featured here yet.

2024-11-01 17:42:28 +0000 UTCThe first 20 minutes should be taught in every film class. Perfectly written, paced, filmed. Flawless…awful, but flawless. For similar flawless but hard to watch at times, Pan’s Labyrinth
