If you love Ryan Reynolds acting like a puppy dog, you should watch The Voices...

2025-03-11 00:50:35 +0000 UTCloved the reaction, but Nat dying at the end waiting for the romance was hilarious xD Edit: (watching the thoughts part): i agree with the content creators, i think having them show up was great, it was a funny joke and i know some (like Jack/Sean) know Ryan which makes it more genuine but i agree when it kept popping back to creators it became something i was waiting to be over, which is a shame because as i said i like the idea of using content creators because they are the people who would make those videos/comments irl. i think part of the issue for me was it brought no so good feelings i have about specific creators (wont say who) into the movie because i kept seeing them pop up, i think it would have been better to make fake content creators for the most part, then add a couple cameos rather than only using real ones, keeping the feeling and the "oh shit its *blank*" moments, but not overdoing it

2024-11-25 01:11:49 +0000 UTCFinally! A film that will be HONEST about the sort of people who attend Burning Man. 😁

2024-11-19 14:54:41 +0000 UTCThis is a nice fun movie to watch for sure, knew you would like this one Nat. Dumb and dumber is excellent as well as the Cable Guy. Another movie you would love I think is Real Steel with Hugh Jackman.

2024-11-19 05:52:38 +0000 UTCYou should definitely watch Dumb and Dumber and I’d love to see a reaction to The Cable Guy if you’re doing early Jim Carey. The Cable Guy deserves to be rediscovered.

2024-11-19 05:11:51 +0000 UTCI think you would also really enjoy The Hitman's Bodyguard, and the sequel. Ryan Reynolds and Samuel L. Jackson are just so good together.

2024-11-19 02:11:54 +0000 UTCAnother good movie like this is Pleasantville, only that's in the TV world rather than a game. It was more fantastical and would be harder to explain, and it had a more hard-hitting underlying message. But it had a similar vibe, a bit like WandaVision had only a very different underlying premise. Anyway, if you haven't seen Pleasantville, it's a good early Toby Macguire/Reese Witherspoon vehicle, and also has a great performance by William H. Macy.

2024-11-18 19:30:44 +0000 UTCDoes anyone else notice that some films do creative things with the end credits that reference which production credit is on screen at the time? Pixar films do it most often(Incredibles 1/2 are my favorite for it), but Free Guy also did it. I think D&D: HAT might have done it as well. It's just that I don't think I've ever seen a reactor notice them in any film(and I watch quite a few reactors). some Free Guy examples: Producers: camera gets shot by a tank (producers set the budget and often tell the production team what they can't do) Executive Producers: one is a woman shooting a smiley face into a window, the other is a guy running repeatedly into a light pole Film Editor: camera pans across the wall of game film clips in the stash house Co-Producers: camera shows Goldie the Goldfish in their tank Visual Effects Supervisor/Producer: a bunch of action shots I especially like: Casting: a flossing Channing Tatum

2024-11-18 19:30:33 +0000 UTCHappy Monday Nat. Hope you had a good weekend. Had a lot of fun with the livestreams on Saturday 😊 Hope Ridley is on the mend and doing better 🐶 Really looking forward, with anticipation to this week's Arcane 😅😊

2024-11-18 18:52:23 +0000 UTCI totally agree. This film is inoffensive but it takes a matrix-level Truman Showish concept of NPCs coming alive and turns it into sentimental schlock. Ryan Reynolds is somehow still snarky whilst supposedly playing likeable and most of the jokes come down to reference humour you would find in a Deadpool, down to Captain America himself! Ultimately this film is serviceable, but shouldn't we expect more than this??

2024-11-18 17:24:51 +0000 UTCNo covid references because it was pretty much in the can already before that all hit. It probably would have released in 2019, but the Fox/Disney merger delayed elements of production. Then it was set to release in 2020, but covid shut down the theaters before that could happen.

2024-11-18 17:21:25 +0000 UTCBig fan of fun, but sadly found this movie (and generally many of the people involved) excruciating to watch. No hate to those who dig it, just didn’t work for me at all.
