Jayce disassembled his hammer while he was stuck down there, thats how he got the materials to stabilize his leg. The staff was the handle of the hammer, the only part he kept as it was.

2024-11-28 00:07:58 +0000 UTCim sure you've watch the rest by now but in case you haven't, the Jayce stuff in this episode was before he got spat out in act 2, its a recap to show you how he got to the point he was, and why he was so convicted and messed up. but yea the dance being animated at 4fps, 4 seconds being how far echo's power can take him back was such a nice touch. edit: OH also, im pretty sure, like 99% sure that Echo and Powder in this world were already a thing, Milo and Claggor saying "trouble in paradise" and "what would you do without her" the way she hugs him right at the start, and the "can we pretend like its the first time" line because for Powder it wasnt the first time. also i feel like you will appreciate the joke my sister said immediately after watching this, "there are about to be SOOOOOO many AU fanfics tomorrow" xD

2024-11-27 19:34:07 +0000 UTCWhen Heimerdinger, Jayce, and Echo first disappeared I thought, "oh, no, not another multiverse theme." But, this episode has turned out to be my favorite. Seeing this happy Powder and seeing Echo experience what could have been is everything! One thing the creators of Arcane really improved on this season is giving us such heartbreaking happy moments to go along with the sad.

2024-11-27 17:53:07 +0000 UTCThe ending of episode 6 basically happens after Ep 7. We saw what Jayce went through before he came back to kill Viktor. He did it to try and prevent what he saw in this alternate universe. Also, Jayce dismantled his hammer to get the staff and the pieces for his leg, then got the hammer from this new fucked up universe back at the end of the episode and brought it back with him.
