This is one of the greatest near perfect shows. It's stupid bullshit if this show doesn't win any awards. At least win for best art work if not best story, characters, etc. There were awesome songs, but also some songs I wasn't feeling. Imagine Dragons is the worse of them all. Amazing story with Viktor being the one in the grim reaper cloak but also the chicken and the egg scenario with Viktor taking over the world vs Viktor seeing the beauty in imperfections and changing the past. Ekko doing his Life is Strange time travel to save everyone is so awesome. I think Maddie has been working with Ambessa this whole time. She was using a cute personality to win everyone over and no one suspect her of going dirty. She sure got what she deserved. The Violet and Caitlin relationship wasn't forced on us. It was natural. Also how the show makes a lot of the characters memorable. The piano player kid and the hot girl with the blue braids. You see something similar in X Men movies, The Avengers, and Avengers Age of Ultron. So much praise for this show. We all see you fall apart in tears Natalie and see you angry lol

2024-12-14 00:21:58 +0000 UTCSeems weird, I see major channels like Roshi and StudioGek uploading the full video along with their reaction with literally zero issues. I guess it's just a risk thing, then.

2024-12-05 03:44:16 +0000 UTCSomeone probably mentioned it but to make some feel better jinx isnt dead. When the explosion goes of you see a short purple string from jinxes shimmer. When Caitlyn hold the head of jinxes granade she looked at the constuction plans of the hexgate and she saw that there are ventilation shafts and smiled. In the last scene you see an airship. Same ship in the same representation when powder said in episode 1 of season 1 "one day im gona fly in one of those things". In an episode from Netflix after the end Ella Purnell answered to the question "is jinx rly dead?" with "who knows" in a suspicious way. The Interview with Just Johnny (a big person in the german league scene) and Christian Linke (creator of arcane) he said the story of Jinx and Ekko isnt over, they will do the next show, characters from arcane may take part in further series, and there is so much of cutted scenes and material. The sex scene between Vi and Caitlyn was way longer but they couldt let it in because of restictions from other countries, Episode 7 was way longer than one hour and so on. Since they dropped the first season on Harddisc i think they will release an directors cut on the season 2 harddisc cause the demand from the fans is so huge for this.

2024-12-03 03:47:14 +0000 UTCIt popped into my head when she was first introduced but quickly went away because the timeline doesn't make sense for that to work. I am glad she's not his daughter because it made her turning into Marcus in that last episode even better

2024-12-01 19:23:06 +0000 UTCIt wouldn't cheapen the ending at all, on the contrary. In her imaginary conversation with Silco, he says that "killing is a cycle" and that it doesn't stop . She needed to walk away, litterally, and that's what she did. This wasn't "plot armor", it makes sense that she was able to escape from the explosion since it was HER bomb (so she knew exactly when to dash away). The ending was perfect, she got to "ride in one of those things" like she said as a kid in episode 1 of the series. She left the region, and that was her way of "breaking the cycle".

2024-12-01 12:03:41 +0000 UTCIf you want more Arcane content to watch in your own time or on the channel, I super highly reccommend the 'Bridging the Rift' series on YouTube if you havent already watched it. Theres also 'Schnee' on YouTube who has made incredible videos breaking down this series and every little detail that will have you stunned at just how well thought out everything is and how good the writing really is on the macro level. Highly reccommend

2024-11-30 18:46:01 +0000 UTCWhen Jinx is standing on the bridge about to jump her running mascara spells iv for the four seconds Echo needs to save her. Also spells Vi if she’s looking in a mirror. Me watching Jinx, Echo, and Vi help each other in the battle: “My babies! Look at them all growed up and saving the world. They grow up so fast!” lol

2024-11-30 09:23:20 +0000 UTCEhm, not escaping being that close to an explosion. Warwicks claws and Vi's punches, sure, but an explosion? No. Yeah, she's durable, but has her limits still, or rather, SHOULD have. Again, I just don't like the idea of a basically invincible Jinx and would ruin her character, and I think her dying to protect what's left of her family is a perfect full circle for her story. Except we saw Vanders memories burn up during the transfer with Viktor, so if anything is left of Vander after that, that whole sequence feels powerless and pointless. The flashbacks were purely for Jinx, Vander is completely gone after he becomes metal, and Warwick actively tried hurting her when falling. I just really dislike the idea of characters keeping on surviving everything with endless plotarmor simply because people like them. Maybe I'm a crazy whiny bitch for thinking that but, yeah..
Linus Marjeta
2024-11-30 09:11:10 +0000 UTCShe's moved fast enough before to escape, plus she is likely more durable due to the shimmer within her. Plus the ending shows that there is still a little bit of Vander left in there with the flashbacks, it's possible he threw her from the explosion at the end.

2024-11-30 06:44:15 +0000 UTCIm so glad you loved it as much as i did, im sad to learn so much was cut (apparently 60 minutes) i hope we get an extended cut, but even without it, i loved this show, so much, while this season was a little rushed (id have liked a act 4 single movie length finale for example, giving us an extra ep and long finale) but even so, this is now one of my favourite shows, if not now my favourite i need to watch it a few times again before i knocks my number 1 off its spot haha. but man, this was so good, to answer your questions about Viktor, no thats not what he looks like, currently, they are redoing him in game visually based on Arcane (i cant wait). one thing i noticed a few days after that made me LOVE this ending so much. there was an aspect i didnt understand, why did Viktor need to try giving Jayce various runes as a child (i also love how in no reality was not saving jayce and his mother an option for viktor despite it being the inspiration for hextech). then i realized why this rune worked, when Ekko was in the other reality, he made the time device with a reversed version of "Jayce's Acceleration rune". because this time Viktor tried the acceleration rune, it gave Ekko the idea and allowed him to return, and allowed him to save the day, "the boy savior". Ekko was the outlier, that rune choice brought ekko back and put him in the fight. i love, that the in game title's Ekko and Jayce have fit with the show, Jayce, the defender of tomorrow, and Ekko, the boy who shattered time. also this finale though Jinx wearing Ekko's jacket, and having firelight markings all over her, and Ekko wearing Jinx's drawings and an X on his chest Cait using the 4th pillar of combat Ambessa is seen teaching her in episode 6, the pillar of sacrifice, to beat Ambessa, she chose to sacrifice her eye to remove the runes protecting Ambessa, god every scene in this finale is so well thought out haha just, brilliant. Edit number a billion, i keep coming back to add more stuff i remembered haha, just fantastic, thanks for the reaction as always!

2024-11-30 06:44:08 +0000 UTCThe Maddie twist is so great. There are a few little Easter eggs but I definitely didn’t pick it. In retrospect we all should have been suspicious of anyone so sweet just because it’s Arcane. I did love that part of your reaction.

2024-11-30 04:56:41 +0000 UTC1 This isn't a plothole, her parents having them is also someone close to her. And the difference is also that Vander kept his after, so Vander would be the one she'd refer more to. 2, Vander, you think it's impossible for him to have shaven before fighting Silco? It feels more like the attack failed, Silco wanted to keep going and Vander stopped him from spurring others on into their doom. 2, Viktor, there's nothing really saying this is a plothole as Viktor seemed to have been spending a lot of time on finding the right rune for Jayce to use, and what the carvings (if they were carvings) on his fingers were for is impossible to know for sure, so in the scene we do see his hand in S2, those runes might not have been necessary. Sidenote, actually if you look closely when Viktors hand "shows the world" in S1, it doesn't look carved in at all, more like painted on. I'd argue none of these are plotholes, the Viktor one gets the closest but as we have no real reason to believe they're carved in or what those specific runes are for, there is nothing saying anything either way.

2024-11-30 04:33:26 +0000 UTCI really hope she isn't alive tbh, or if she is, that they never confirm it or show it in any future show, it would cheapen the ending and Jinx's character SO much imo, just let characters die, it's fine. And I know she's fast, but she isn't the flash, if she can get away from the epicenter of an explosion then she's practically invincible. In my head she's dead. If you prefer her to have survived, that's fine of course, to each their own, I just don't like the idea of the overusage of "BUT, they actually randomly escaped/survived!", it's a tiring trope and really makes me not care when a character is in danger.

2024-11-30 01:55:36 +0000 UTCI always took the smile people have pointed out by Maddie at the end to be a lover scorned. My interpretation was Ambessa knew what was gonna happen to Maddie and turned her when at her lowest. Makes that empath smile make more sense to me imo than her just being a sociopath playing Caitlyn all along.

2024-11-30 01:49:10 +0000 UTCUnbelievable episode. Unbelievable television. With the amount they were able to squeeze into this episode it makes me think we could’ve gotten away with another season, but then this episode wouldn’t have been half as good - and christ it was SO good 😭 Jayce vs Victor Mel/Cait vs Ambessa Jinx/Vi vs Vander Literally every conflict was handled so well, and I didn’t even catch any of the clues that Jinx survived first time around 😂 I can’t wait for whatever comes next from this world 🫶🏼 still won’t touch the game tho x Also Jayce/Victor is canon now, I won’t be taking questions

2024-11-29 23:07:05 +0000 UTCYup, she had the bombs in her bag and handed them out so I'm fairly sure she had sabotaged all of them. I think a lot of people assume she betrays Cait because of getting cheated on, but I'm almost certain she was a plant from Ambessa from the beginning. Using it to "fill the void" left by Vi leaving, she didn't seem upset at the end, she seemed cold and calculating... I could be wrong but I get the feeling that was her letting the mask drop at the end, not anger.

2024-11-29 22:19:10 +0000 UTCOther cool things I want to point out because I was lost in my thoughts writing the original post: Jinx's airship is her friggin' house. She and the ship are decked out with things memorializing Isha. The guy Vi decks with an upcut at the beginning of her bender is the same guy she uppercuts in Season 1 Episode 3, then tray smashes in Episode 5, breaking his jaw. He can't get get away from those hands. The guy who licks the other guy's head in bar in S1 E9 is the guy she punches in the club. The bartender "chuck" that Jinx harassed in season 1 can be seen in throwing a molotov when Zaun arrives to save Piltover in the final episode. Deckard's (the first Shimmer test subject) head is in Jar when Cait and Ambessa are in Singed's liar, right as she announces he developed shimmer. Vander/Warwick's arm and cheek are visible in the final shots of Season 1 Episode 9 Vander/Warwick was the worst kept secret, as Warwick's known at the "Hound of the Underground" in the game, like Vander is in the show. Jayce and Viktor are likely dead in the Episode 7 reality. The gems in the Vi drawer that Powder holds onto seem to indicate she stole them all to keep them from hurting anyone else. Everything else being the same, it's less likely Viktor would have "interrupted" Jayce in season 1, and Viktor would succumb to his disease by this point without Hextech to save him. The guy who tries to take Huck for a ride in the beginning of Season 1 can be seen in a Barber chair in the happy reality. Harold, the enforcer security guard is also seen here and is a constant in the show. The woman who touches Jinx's shoulder first in Stillwater prison, the Waitress/Musician that Milo hits on in the happy reality, and the Zaunite that dies holding Vi's hand in the last episode are all the same woman. A lot of reactors aren't sure where Singed's daughter comes from, but he mentions her in Season 1 as a point of sympathy when he knocks Silco out for Jinx's shimmer procedure. Shimmer seems to advance as the story goes on, starting with strength and growth in Season 1, advancing to speed with Jinx and healing with Warwick (though it's implied Warwick has all 3, we don't see speed until after Viktor's transformed him further). In Season 1 when Victor coughs up blood over the railing of the Hexgates, the corrupted splotch is found by Heimerdinger when he Jayce and Ekko visit the bottom of the chamber in S2E3, and may be a key part to how the anomaly forms. Powder, Vi, Connell, and Felicia all lived in the spot where Vi collapsed the sign on Silco which then became the site of fields where Viktor's commune grew food. Prior to Vi collapsing the structure you can see Powder drawing the scary monsters on the wall that Vi tells Cait about in her bedroom later in Season 1. In every top down shot of the counsel room in Season 2 you can see an untouched circle where Mel protected her and Jayce from harm. Mel's gold "armor" shines whenever she's in danger. Jinx has the same hex crystal she steals in Season 1 through the entire show. Jinx's hex-tech gun is loaded by putting the orb in the hole Caitlyn shot through her original gun during her fight with Vi in S2E3. The song Vi hums from her mother is the song that Jinx sings on the bridge at the beginning of the show, hums (when she's the monster, killing everyone) before the Ekko fight on the bridge in season 1, and plays when Warwick Vander recognizes her in Stillwater Prison S2E4. Old bearded Viktor is likely the other "voice" and "will" working within Jayce as mentioned by Viktor and Sky when Jayce returns, and it's done via the Hammer which Viktor can see on the Arcane plane and confuses him. Jayce fights back when he tries to kill Viktor after returning, as he can be seen 'reality splitting' before firing, resisting it -- I'm still not clear on the implications of this, but I have a couple of theories. Isha was probably an escaped child laborer of the mines, as she has the same Mining helmet as Vi and Powder's parents, as shown in the flashbacks. It's implied Isha makes Jinx's voices go away. Sevika's new arm keeps a score, and shoots fireworks when 100 is reached. Jinx always speaks to her reality, or what she sees in the world. "Powder fell down a well" - Powder is dead. "Jinx is dead" "It's something I could fix" - She didn't fix the arm, she fixed Sevika, making her less predictable. When Powder first appear in S2E7 and freaks out Ekko in the otherworld, our Jinx is in the reflection that appears first, the pale skin, different eyes, and a frowning expression. The Necklace Ekko gives Powder in the end of S2E7 is made out of the Hextech shards he created the Z-Drive with and bears both their faces within the lines of the rose. I only caught one face on my first go through and had to pause to see the other the next time around, as it's hard to spot. The only thing close to a plot hole I've found in the show is that some of the events before the show were originally planned to be different and changed in Season 2 (or were never fleshed out): 1. Vi mentions that 'someone close to me used to have a pair of these' when finding Jayce's Atlas gauntlets, referring to Vander at the time. Then it's revealed her parents also had these in Season 2 2. In Season 2, it's show Vander betrays Silco on the bridge after Felicia dies when they attempt to take on Piltover (per his flashback and note in the mines), but in Season 1, he has a beard on the bridge and is bare faced when seen attacking Silco in the river in a flashback, indicating the betrayal happened earlier as by the time Felicia and Connell die on the bridge, he's bearded. Viktor being the mage who saves Jayce as child is foreshadowed in Season 1 by the runes that were carved into his fingers, as Viktor carves into his body, but this was dropped and removed in season 2, as his fingers are clean and bare. Prior to season 2 I thought this to be a red herring, but I'm not so sure now how far back that intent goes.

2024-11-29 21:48:35 +0000 UTCJinx is alive, they left enough clues to make it clear. I think they intended for us to believe she's dead at first, then we'd realize that she actually faked her own death so she could "walk away". If you watch the explosion frame-by-frame, you can see a bolt of shimmer-colored light moving away from the bomb right before it detonates (and Jinx has the ability to dash at lightning speeds thanks to shimmer). As you mentionned, I also think that Caitlyn was looking at the blueprints of the Hexgates (while holding a piece of Jinx's bomb) because they didn't find Jinx's body, she was looking at the ventilation system to figure out how she might have escaped. There's also the airship that Powder mentionned in episode 1 of Season 1 : "one day I'm going to ride in one of these things". The show is heavily suggesting that Jinx is piloting the airship we see at the end, it looks exactly like the one we see in episode 1 of the series.

2024-11-29 20:22:48 +0000 UTCAs far as Jinx surviving, I just saw a clip of them saying that they were wanting to see Jinx and Echo and how they could go forward... but it wasn't clear to me if they were talking about them in the paralell dimension or if they are going to spin them off but I'm hopeful... hehe

2024-11-29 20:01:46 +0000 UTCI was super glad that they didn't just use Echo to "reverse/fix" everything but instead maintained what happened for the most part... instead just using it in brief bursts for dramatic effect and to give Jace the opportunity to break through to Victor to see what he needed to see...

2024-11-29 19:24:06 +0000 UTCHonestly, my only complaint about season 2 is that episode 9 clearly needed another hour or two of run time. Without even considering scenes with Jink and Ekko *together*, Jinx's entrance into the battle needed more time to give more release from the tensions of Piltover losing to Ambessa, and Ekko's last run at Viktor needed more time to build the final tension of the conflict. Everything as is, is still masterfully done, but you can feel episode 9's story had much more gas in the tank that got cut short.

2024-11-29 19:19:12 +0000 UTCI'm going to use this to dump a bunch of Arcane thoughts I hope a bunch of people will appreciate. Forgive me if I'm covering anything in other posts, like how Jinx is alive. Cool things to point out: The intent is for Jinx to be alive. You can visually see this as she uses her shimmer speed to dash out. The ship in the end with the Jinx letter is the exact 3D model she says she wants to ride in in episode 1. Vi rolls over before she can possibly see Jinx escape. The point is that Vi can't know she's alive or she'll keep screwing her own life up to save family. Vickor only stops himself with acceleration rune, because Ekko breaks the rules of the timeloop. Maddie was always meant to be the bad guy. She's such a ray of sunshine that she's introduced in rays of sunshine. She's grinning ear-to-ear when she shoots Cait. Watch the gunshot that Mel deflects frame-by-frame. They turned her into this season's Marcus in like 30 seconds, and it's amazing how they did it. They made her way too sweet and pure for this world and for Cait. No one in this show is *not* jaded and if they're not jaded, they get jaded really fast. She didn't fit. And I know that gave a lot of people, including me, bad vibes. Ambessa was a great villain. I don't think there's much to say about her, though. She was laid bare on the table. I like how she's stoking the fire with Cait verbally while physically stoking the fire in the room with a poker in episode 4. She's so on the nose, you're never really surprised with anything she's done. Shout out to the gilled enforcer who's the silent MVP with all his assists. As far as deaths, any writer can come in on the behest of the IP owner and change anything, but I'll speak to what I believe are the intent of this show's creative team, and why. Jinx is alive. There's too much deliberate intent to tell use she's alive for it to be a "up to interpretation" ending for her. I expect they want to use her again, at least for future show cameos. Isha, Ambessa, Loris, and Maddie are dead. We get bodies. Only Ambessa was a champion in the game. I suspect they had bigger plans for Loris originally, but he got cut down due to them constraints, he seemed a little overused to go out in such an anticlimactic way. Everyone else is left ambiguous for possible future use. Heimerdinger went out in an odd way similar to Sky minus the dust. With the change to the acceleration rune, it's hard to say what happened to him. Maybe he's stuck in a timeloop. I don't think we're supposed to know, or the writers have a definitive answer. Jayce and Victor were sucked into the original acceleration crystal. Like Heimer, I don't think we're supposed to get a solid answer, here, but they want the ability to use them again. Warwick is ambiguous as he was functionally unkillable, but Vander appears to be gone. As far as everyone's endings: I think they're done with Vi and Cait. I don't think they want to bring them back, so I think the book is closed here. The show is done with Piltover and they're definitively Piltover's characters. This is their happy ending, as imperfect as it is. However, in terms of Vi, I noticed throughout ACT III she's running out of gas. She can't keep doing what she's doing and I think Power sees that, which further prompts her to silently leave. So does Cait, asking if she's still in it, in the end. Vi got no last stand scene. She gets pinned down several times, we never get a moment where she finds it in her one more time, which I expected in episode 9. Jinx is off to other lands, at least for now. I don't they they want borderline manic pixie dream girl as depicted in the game to be her ending. Hopefully they leave her here, and don't do more than cameos from here on out. He arc completed and I'm happy with it. Mel I think has a future in future shows of Runeterra. I think her ending is more of a beginning. Jayce and Viktor's ending is satisfying, but I don't know what their intentions are for them from here, as I haven't found anything yet, or seen anything from someone like Schnee pointing to an intent. I'd like to see the book closed. Also, I want to talk about the show itself and one character that I was meh about in her introduction but ended up loving by the end, after a couple of re-watches and going through people's reactions. Isha is probably the most thematic character to the season. There's a scene in episode 3 where Jayce explains wild runes. After ACT III I couldn't figure out why they were burning time on this, it seemed unnecessary for the plot, then I realized he's explaining the show and Isha and the themes that language goes deeper than words, how the show tells it's story through music and visuals, and how Isha without a single line of dialog tells so much of the story. This moment was telling us both how they intended Isha and their story-telling to be interpreted in typically Arcane "everything has an Analog" fashion. There's a youtube video about how "Isha is wild runes" and it mirrors and better explains what I feel here, and helped me expand on my thoughts and feelings about Isha. While Jinx is terrible for Isha, Isha is amazing for Jinx. She shows Jinx what Powder could look like successful, much like Episode 7 does for us. She's the good version of child powder that Jinx can see for herself. Her death finally lets Jinx see Vi's perspective of all this. This is why Jinx is so defeated in episode 8, who she asks Vi if she'll ever give up on her. Isha's death helps Jinx through her arc by getting her to the place where can be both wanting to live and wanting to walk away, with a little help from Ekko. Jinx finally sees herself through someone else's eyes for good *and* bad, not just one or other. She finally has an honest sense of self worth - something she's never had, which both Vi then Silco having always coddled her feelings. Isha was always meant to remind us of Powder in everyway. She's introduced with a jump she barely fails, saved by her older sister. She tinkers and tries to be heroic in spite of her caregiver denouncing the ideas. She goes out by shoving a bunch of Arcane hex gems into a device that explodes in an attempt to save everyone from an impending death. Making her non-verbal (presumably some form of partial deaf) was a great way to not only be inclusionary but also run all these themes through the gamut. Lastly, this show was mainly about Jinx and Vi with Jayce and Viktor stealing a lot of the thunder. I think those stories are done. I'm happy with them where they ended, aside from Mel and *maybe* Heimerdinger, no one else needs more story here. I'm good with leaving it here and having Riot and Netflix commission shows about other parts of Runeterra. I can't believe we got a steampunk animated fantasy show that is this good to begin with, and hope they can keep it up in the coming years.

2024-11-29 19:13:51 +0000 UTCI just finished watching your reaction and just to double down on my previous comment off the back of what you said on your outro: yes! Rewatch it! I agree! You should do that! I'd happily watch it all again with you to get your reactions and realizations on a 2nd viewing!

2024-11-29 19:02:03 +0000 UTCFirst time that i ever signed a patreon because as a League player that's invested in the lore of the game, i just HAD to see your full reaction to Arcane. I watched it saturday, and i watched it all over again with you today, and this time for some reason it was even more emotional to me. Really all i can say is thank you for that.

2024-11-29 18:59:58 +0000 UTCThat and at the end Caitlyn is looking at the plans of the place and focuses on an air vent at the bottom that seems to hint a bit more at her escape.

2024-11-29 18:48:47 +0000 UTCThank you Nat for being the only reactor to have the same reaction to Maddie dying as I did. Most reactors just seemed confused as to what happened.

2024-11-29 18:48:18 +0000 UTCIt was so good watching this again with you, cause not gonna lie the first time I watched it I started hating on everything once I saw that Jinx was gonna sacrifice herself, cause a happy end for her was the one thing that was important to me, so watching this again after seeing she survived made me appreciate the rest of the episode more.

2024-11-29 18:44:18 +0000 UTCThis series is just god-tier, especially this last season. However, my only gripe is that, according to the creators, there are 60 minutes of animated scenes in the last episode alone that they didn’t use—mainly Ekko and Jinx scenes after he saved her (talking about the other timeline, coordinating their gear, and painting each other’s symbols). Like, I’m gonna need that cut right now, or we better see these two together again in the three future projects.

2024-11-29 18:19:14 +0000 UTCPause the explosion, you can see a purple streak come out to the side as she escapes :) and the drawing style in 'the end'. Also just realized Jayce got sucked back into that thing xD

2024-11-29 18:11:37 +0000 UTCI didn’t know really how to feel after the show ended just because I think it’s so amazing, so the first time I didn’t had all the feelings, I have rewatched them a second time with you and all of the feelings came harder than the first time. I know some people have it’s problem with it (pacing, maybe plot and some characters choices), but I don’t agree maybe with 10 more minutes every episode would have been perfect and after rewatching I think I like the ending even more. Also giving it a maybe 3 season could have been better? But we don’t know, maybe it would be worst, I think it’s one of those shows that is so good and the writers are bold so not everyone will be please by it.

2024-11-29 18:06:52 +0000 UTCI also hope that one day The Legend of Vox Machina wins a poll because i think you might love it too.

2024-11-29 18:04:44 +0000 UTCIndeed. There are so many hidden things in frames that you miss out in a first viewing that a 2nd viewing is still a treat. One viewing is already a delight but a 2nd viewing that still seems fresh is a feat very few series, or film, can achieve. Bravo to Fortiche for the animation and writers on how jam packed the series is.

2024-11-29 17:39:18 +0000 UTCThis series has 18 episodes, and not a single one of them is lacking in any way. There are no "bad" or "placeholder" episodes. There are no "filler" episodes. There are no throwaway episodes to pad the runtime. And each episode is crafted with such care, with so many things that they COULD have done easier and no one would have noticed. For example, in S2E7, at the beginning, they show (alternate) Ekko working in his lab, and they show it by animating his REFLECTION on a piece of equipment on the desk. HIS REFLECTION! Which ties into the story where this "timeline" is the same, but slightly different, than the one we know. That's just one example of dozens I've picked up on, and probably have missed dozens of others. They didn't have to change the animation style so many times, and doing do you risk a lot of criticism. But they nailed each one. This is my favorite animated anything, ever. And is now my 2nd favorite series next to Lord of the Rings. It just finished, and it's already Legendary. I will watch anything Fortiche makes for the rest of my life.

2024-11-29 17:38:58 +0000 UTCI've been watching for this drop so I could get in quick in the comments just to say: I would watch you react to this a second time, it's just that good. I don't mean I would watch your reaction again, I mean I would watch you react to watching it a 2nd time. This piece of art, of the highest caliber, is so good and there is so much to understand and notice on a 2nd viewing, that I would happily sit through that experience with you. It's just so incredible and rewatchable and you get so much from a re-view that I genuinely think it could be the first thing you watch twice on your channel and it would be just as entertaining as the first time.

2024-11-29 17:27:12 +0000 UTCI for sure thought Maddie was going to be the daughter of Marcus. Guess I can kiss that theory goodbye.

2024-11-29 17:09:28 +0000 UTCHappy Friday Nat. So excited to see how this story ends 😊 This was just an epic finale. It can't be faulted. So many powerful moments and the journeys of each of the characters stories where perfectly wrapped up, and some were heart-breaking. I really enjoyed watching this series with you Nat 💛

2024-11-29 17:02:29 +0000 UTCWhat a series. The art was superb from Season 1 Episode 1 to the finish and the story just heart wrenchingly good. Definitely one of the best series out there, animated or not, bar none.
