I have to pull back slightly on content because of the upcoming film festival and travel next weekend. We basically will be in the city working for most of this week. So I'll be releasing just 2 episodes and 1 movie for a bit as I try to juggle life stuff.

Like, all the same stuff seems to be there. But it keeps going wildly out of sync, like hers is going .75 the speed of mine.

In addition to u and Ashleigh, I watch Cassie and Carly, cinebinge, addie and Vicky. I understand about the virtual thing not being ur bag. I like the personal touch too. Blake also doesn't like being on camera either. I'm socially awkward and have social anxiety. I'm also an introvert and on the autism spectrum. Yet I'm still good. Lol. I'm sorry to hear about the tough times you went through, Beth. I hope things are much better now, and I'm glad my videos (and Ashleigh's) could give you a nice escape. I adore Ashleigh and really want to collaborate with her! I hope to make it down to Nashville soon and do the collaboration in person. I just don't love the idea of doing a virtual collaboration. First though, just having u comment to me u made my week, I found ur channel at a rough time in my life . i was mentally and verbally abused for 7 months before i went on family leave and disability because i'm trans and i found Ashleigh then and when reactors turned up on my feed ,i found u and others i now watch regularly. I've enjoyed ur reactions on YouTube and Patreon, Also, thank u for giving us a look into ur life as much as u do. I do hope u enjoy ur trip. Can u collab with Ashleigh? she mentioned wanting to collab with u in her live stream yesterday. I don't expect her to cater to me, but I just love watching movies with her. Especially the fast and furious ones. This is just a curious inquiry. Otherwise, I enjoy her content. Its just I miss watching her. 😪

But in The Penguin (2024), they change it to Oz Cobb, a more "grounded" take for the character... Directors often strip away parts of Batman, Gotham, and his rogues' gallery for the sake of "realism", looking at you, Nolan. It’s why characters like Clayface, Mr. Freeze, Man-Bat, or Killer Croc likely won’t fit into Matt Reeves' Gotham. And if they do, they’ll probably be heavily altered, much like how Nolan reimagined Ra’s al Ghul, an immortal with a rich, supernatural background in the comics, as just a regular guy with his name passed down as a title in the movies. It’s a shame, as those fantastical elements are key to what makes Batman’s world unique, showing how he evolves from fighting crime families and thugs to battling supervillains, monstrous creatures, and secret organizations But anyway, back to Penguin. This series is still amazing, but I did roll my eyes when I heard they changed his name. At least with Penguin, the change kind of makes sense for the story. He’s not from a wealthy family like in the comics, so I get why they dropped Cobblepot. But it’s an amazing series and honesty one of the best shows of 2024.
