COVID has finally left my system and it seems the power outages may be over for a while 🤞so it's finally time to stream! Looking forward to catching up with y'all on Saturday at 1 pm PST. I'll be gaming afterward at 2 pm PST.

37:21 Daredevil: Born Again isn’t set in another universe. Marvel confirmed that all the Netflix shows, while originally more adjacent to the MCU, are now officially canon. The Daredevil we see in the MCU is the same one from the Netflix series. People assumed the Netflix shows were 'non-canon' because Marvel never referenced them during the Infinity Saga (2008–2019), and, vice versa, the Netflix shows never directly referenced the MCU. But since Marvel confirmed that all the Netflix shows are MCU canon, this means that the events of Daredevil Seasons 1 to 3, along with Luke Cage, The Punisher, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, and The Defenders, are canon to Daredevil: Born Again, which is firmly set within the MCU. The only major difference is that Daredevil: Born Again will be more closely tied to the MCU, with the ability to reference the broader universe. For example, in Times Square, where we see Mayor-elect Fisk addressing New York City, there’s an advert for Roger the Musical, a musical about Captain America, and a "Happy New Year" message from Pym and Dynes Company, highlighting the greater universe. Like I said, prior the Netflix shows were more adjacent to the MCU. It seems like Marvel, beginning with Daredevil: Born Again is treating New York as its own little universe, home to street-level heroes like Spider-Man. Stories isolated from the larger universe threats with Mayor Fisk kind of acting like the Thanos of street-level heroes. So we could see the events of this show bleeding into future projects, like the next Spider-Man movie, Punisher show, Maybe a team-up between all these characters. So yeah, same universe, no multiverse bullshit :D
