Original Movie: National Treasure

Love this reaction. This is my second or third time watching it while rewatching the movie. I'm sure you've been asked but have you thought about reacting to the sequel? I think it's a fun watch.

2025-07-27 21:23:27 +0000 UTCJust a little trivia: The Original Declaration that was signed in Independence hall has been missing your years. They made copies to send to Britain and to store in the museum. I belive the one in Washington is the 4th copy? I forget but the 1st one went missing sometime after the war for Independence. If someone finds that hidden in an antique mall ...omg they would be rich and famous. Or in Grandma's attic!

2025-01-27 08:59:41 +0000 UTCThe sequel doesn't just involve a new treasure hunt but, of course, it also needs to require them to do something VERY illegal just to make sure the stakes are still really high. It's pretty good.

2025-01-27 07:07:26 +0000 UTCI would also watch the second movie!

2025-01-27 06:00:42 +0000 UTCgreat reaction Nat! I hope you continue on with National Treasure 2: The Book of Secrerts and the mini series on Disney+ I know I might be in the minority by liking the series, but I thought it was just a fun ride, like the movies before.

2025-01-27 05:29:50 +0000 UTCAwesome reaction! Have a look at The Crowded room eventually! It's so freaking good. So many tears!

2025-01-27 03:26:45 +0000 UTCI like how the very first thing they uncover was the "Charlotte" name, as if we needed to see that to make sure it was the right missing boat.

2025-01-26 20:17:48 +0000 UTCJust as pretentious though

2025-01-26 04:08:41 +0000 UTCThe sequel is just as fun as this one, same cast as this one , hope you watch it sometime!

2025-01-25 12:50:55 +0000 UTCOkay, Thank-you sir. I have been asking around. .You have done your 1 good deed for the day. My quest continues, as all good quests do. If I cannot find it, I will not feel ill will. For what is illness to the body of a knight errant? What matter the wounds? For each time he falls, he shall rise again. Woe to the wicked. Sancho my armor, my sword.... Sorry not sorry but Thank-you
Sean Kay
2025-01-25 12:48:09 +0000 UTCI apologize for my harshness and sharp tone, but let's get real; if we were to rank all movies, 1 being the best, this one has 4 or more digits. I also am entertained by terrible films, but I don't pretend they are not what they are. Your list is allowed to be differ from mine, sure, but great is a top shelf word. Greatness, to me, is difficult to achieve, is inspired, and revered.... If i had spoken these words rather than typed them, I assure you, they would sound less angry-I hate texting...
Sean Kay
2025-01-25 12:17:33 +0000 UTCLol no. 2/10 at best. These r like Dan brown novels. Fun and fast, no substance. I do not see how the word great can apply to..."national treasure 1 or 2" .it is firmly in the "fun but poorly made" category. You are still allowed to like films like this, but please, I beg of you, don't tarnish the word 'great' by dragging it down to this films level.

2025-01-25 12:01:53 +0000 UTCHi Sean. Welcome aboard. TLOTR reactions were some of Nat's first that she filmed on her phone, and the picture and sound were combined with her reaction audio track. Nat took them down so as to avoid any copyright issues, and unfortunately she doesnt have the raw footage anymore. If you are on Nat's Discord, ask around over there as some folks do have her reaction downloaded ๐

2025-01-25 10:41:35 +0000 UTCGreat reaction Nat, knew you would love this one. The second one is a great movie also. Def worth a watch.

2025-01-25 06:59:37 +0000 UTCThis movie is grade-A American Cheese, but it's so much fun that it doesn't matter. It's like the best Hallmark movie of all time. Super predictable, super corny, but damn it's a good time. The sequel is equality as cheesy and fun, hope you watch it soon.

2025-01-25 04:49:04 +0000 UTCHOLY CRAP! Sean Bean didn't die!? I would have put money on that happening... I could have sworn he got shot somehow, and I have this movie on DVD, not seen it in many years but I have it.

2025-01-25 03:34:31 +0000 UTCHappy to see a Philly resident. :) I don't live in Philly, I'm in the suburbs, but I am well aware of the Reading Terminal Market, and all the amazing businesses there, in particular all the take-out places.
Nicholas Sulikowski
2025-01-25 01:42:54 +0000 UTCThe part where Abigail and Riley run from the bad guys and Abigail hides behind the steak deli, that's the famous Reading Terminal Market, at about 50:30 on the timer. Really great food in the dozens food stands there if anyone is visiting Philly. Also in real life it's like 2/3rd's of a mile from Independence Hall, but Abigail and Riley ran there instantly.

2025-01-25 00:08:08 +0000 UTCSo, yeah...this movie's super corny. And pretty predictable. And kind of stupid. But, it's also thoroughly enjoyable. I'm not even sure why, exactly. Not quite one of Nic Cage's better performances, but he doesn't chew on the wallpaper here either. Sean Bean's pretty good, I guess. Maybe Justin Bartha? I don't know. I've watched it a few times now, and always find myself enjoying it. What does this say about me? About the world? About humanity? Fuck it. Good shit.
Steve Mercier
2025-01-24 21:49:26 +0000 UTCYeah this is a really fun movie. I've always been fascinated with secret passages and rooms and things like that. But the biggest win was for Sean Bean's character. He didn't die! I think the timing of the kiss makes sense at least in my man brain. Sure it wasn't a romantic moment. But, in that situation I would be thinking okay I'm about to die. Might as well shoot my shot before I regret it. LOL Loved revisiting this one. I saw it a bunch when it first came out, but I hadn't seen it in at least 10 years.
Marty McGee
2025-01-24 21:08:50 +0000 UTCJust finished the watchalong and overall I'm not a fan of this one. lol, I know that you hadn't seen this for a number of years but it really is a whole lot less fun to watch when you're frequently talking over the movie. To a point it's all good but this felt a little much on that. I'm probably being too picky on that not sure.

2025-01-24 19:40:30 +0000 UTCYou seem to get very caught up on why they took his dads car - The reason they took it was to help make it seem like the dad wasn't a part of the plan alongside him being tied up :D
