Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope Pt. 1 (ULTRA LONG REACT)

UPDATE -- THIS VIDEO IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE ON VIMEO -- PLEASE CLICK THE GOOGLE DRIVE LINK BELOW TO VIEW IT

Hi guys!

Thanks so much for supporting me here on Patreon! As part of my promise to you, here is part one of my longer reaction to Star Wars: Episode IV - A New Hope! Part two was posted before this as this video had more difficulty processing. Had to split up the react into two parts for now, but working on resolving this issue for the future.

Let me know your thoughts in the comments and stay golden!

(Please note, this react is a Google Drive link because I don't have the raw footage to make it 100% copyright safe for Vimeo. This will only be the case for some older videos that I cannot fix ie: Star Wars + some LOTR)

Comments

Google Drive says this isn't viewable because it has been download or watched too many times recently. Perhaps these Star Wars reactions could be moved to YouTube?

Around the 85 minute mark. And both links lead to the same video. Still worth the watch.

FYI. There's upwards of 15-25 minutes missing. Starting after the destruction of alderan.

Great reaction Natalie!! Hope you react to the latest and final trilogy!!

sometimes I sneeze and sometimes my dog barks and in the beginning of my Patreon, I cut those things out

what's up with the random cuts. i was hoping to see a full reaction haha

I first saw this movie when I was 9. Your face captures exactly how I felt in that opening shot when the two ships fly into frame. BTW for you and your patrons, there are "despecialized" versions of the first three films created by fans that restored the films to their original theatrical release before George did all his updates. Hard to find but they are awesome and Han shot first. Stop messing with film history George.

"Eh we had to stop these here Jawas and unfortunately it uh turned violent" *tie fighter bombs Sandcrawler in background*

Hey Nicholas! The links should be working again. So sorry for the inconvenience! I will likely be switching everything over to Google Drive here soon as Vimeo and Patreon clearly do not play well together for me

Natalie Gold

Hello. The private link for Part 1 and 2 of a New hope is not working for me.

Nicholas Smith

Take a drink for every right arm that gets severed in these three films.

Good call on cutting the "Jabba scene" right before they lift off from Mos Eisley, Natalie. Saved yourself some grief points from the Debbie downers ;)

Here is a fantastic parody of the first half of Star Wars called "Troops". This is also a spoof of the reality show "Cops". https://youtu.be/5HO70-Rk3jE

The random large "snake" skeleton in the desert is a tribute to the giant worms on the desert planet in Frank Herbert's "Dune" novel (and movie).

Yay!!

Okay, I'm only five minutes into this video and I'm already glad I subscribed. It's much more fun to see the entire reaction than just snippets. Thanks for doing this!

Hi John! I can look into it for sure. Vimeo has been giving me a lot of issues, but if I'm able to get it to work consistently with a download option available I'll let you know!

Natalie Gold

Is it possible to get download links? That way I can load them on my phone to watch on the go. I highly recommend Rogue One after you finish Episodes 4,5,6 and 1,2,3. It falls between 3 and 4. It's the "first victory" mentioned in the opening title crawl and happens immediately prior to the beginning of 4. (but could spoil the other movies if watched first)

John
