Here is my reaction to the second episode of Season 2!! This one has a fair amount of scared screaming near the end so brace yourselves!

Funny thing about that. In Spain (where I'm from) the card decks don't have the same symbol as the American. While the American has hearts, diamonds, slides and clubs, the spanish has gold, swords, clubs and... Yes "CUPS". Unfortunately, there is no Queen card. There is a King, a knight and something I can't even translate called "sota". I'm guessing I can't share images or links here, but I'll try. 2021-01-15 23:31:08 +0000 UTCI commented on your Home Alone reaction that I’m not scared of spiders much if at all, I even keep a couple of tarantulas as exotic pets (and with all honesty I think some spiders, mainly tarantulas, can be rather striking in terms of pattern, colouration or demeanour) but the spiders in this episode of the show are just the ugliest things I’ve ever seen.

2021-01-10 13:28:10 +0000 UTCOne of the X-wing pilots was played by Dave Filoni, he's the writer of the show and one of the directors. He's a big deal in star wars fandom. Also you're right, the rebels won and are now called "The New Republic" and run things for the most part.

2021-01-09 23:28:24 +0000 UTCMy brother and I had a conversation (pre-season 2) where we agreed that the show was decent. This season was Fantastic! Granted some of it means more to us who have watched the Clone Wars and Rebels. Great comment by C Biggs. The makers have said that in addition to other Star Wars that they've looked back to material that originally inspired Lucas like samurai films and westerns and it worked out amazing. Incidentally, Jango Fett was the "Dad" in the armor in Ep2 Attack of the clones. He was the model for all the clone troopers and for his clone "son" Boba Fett. Boba changed the armor color and wore it in Empire and Return of the Jedi and he's the one (presumably) who was at the end of the last episode. The actor Temeura is Jango in Ep2 and all the clones in Ep2 and 3 (grown clones) and he's the guy at the end of last episode. A different actor was in the suit for the original trilogy. Never seen her just go into horrified shock silence before! Poor girl. As to Lt. Davin, yeah, you got it right, he was the guard on the New Republic prison ship in the first season. Don’t be embarrassed for having a bad memory, that makes it fun for someone like me whose memory is LONG. Long enough at any rate.

There were a couple recurring characters but it was mostly centered around the adventures of the lone gunslinger. That being said, I think this season will still deliver what you're wanting

2021-01-08 23:52:31 +0000 UTCLt. Davan was the prison guard on the Republic’s prison ship from Season 1 Episode 6, Bill Burr’s character killed him, but Mando tried to defuse the situation and prevent his death.

So yes, the prisoner that he released from that ship was who they mentioned he spring, but he captured the other ones, which they also referred to. The Lieutenant Davin that they mentioned was the pilot/guard of that prison ship who was killed, which Mando tried to prevent. We didn't know his name before now, but it can be inferred from the context of that incident that he's who they are referring to. Basically they saw on the security tapes that he tried to stop them from killing that guy, which was a mark in his favor.

When the X-wing "cops" asked Mando whether his Razorcrest was the ship involved with that, that's why he ran from them. While he was hiding, they were able to figure out that it was, in fact, the same Razorcrest, but they also know he captured Bill Burr and the devil guy and the freaky chick, all of whom were apparently wanted, so that's in his favor. And if you remember, Lt. Davin was the guy in the main control room, even though there were only supposed to be droids on board. The bad guys pulled a gun on him, and Mando tried to de-escalate, but Bill Burr was all "screw that" and then the freaky chick threw a knife at the guy and ended the argument.

I personally think you'd love Agents of SHIELD, if and when you get around to it, because that show does such an incredible job at establishing relationships and developing the characters every episode.

Definitely has a ring to it!😃 There's a lot to learn in the Star Wars universe, and you're doing well so far remembering the important stuff. Wait until after you've seen the whole season before you look up the series, though. There's spoilers.
