I really like the earnest dialogue. Lynn isn't someone to talk about her feelings openly, so this feels like a very special moment. One where she's wistful and making sense of it all in her head one more time, reminding herself the prices she's paid in life have been more than worth it. That perhaps she even found her better, truer self in the bargain. Or perhaps I'm reading too much into it. Either way, it's a fantastic hook!
