2021-08-25 03:38:14 +0000 UTCSomething I thought of during this rewatch. What if the TVA agents are a gathering of people that only had one variant on the sacred timeline? I mean, if there were going to be 50 or 100 variants of Morbius or Renslayer, that may make things hard to hide. Yet if there were only ever going to be one variant, then that would be the one you would want to recruit. Also, if there is only one, then that individual is good at following their prescribed path, and that in and of itself may point towards the type of individual that wouldn't make waves at the TVA.

I expected Mobius to be pruned (although I figured it would happen in the next episode not this one) and then bam! Both Mobius and Loki gone! I kept thinking to myself "Loki must still be alive somehow. They wouldn't just kill two main characters like that. This isn't Game of Thrones!" Then I saw the end credits scene and I started clapping after seeing the Loki variants. This episode (along with episode 3) were my favorites of this show! If I had to put them in order, it would go: 3, 4, 6, 5, 2, 1.

She of course ran out, but why, and why didn't they show that?

Definitely a lot more engaging, with a bit of heart and emotion and some good character moments. Really enjoyed your reaction Nat, and I'm now invested, and excited to see how it plays out. 2021-08-24 17:06:27 +0000 UTCSo, without going into spoilers territory, the scene where Silvy was aprehended as a child made me think how laws in most countries obey the principle that "Not knowing the law, doesn't prevent from having to follow them, and being judged if broken". The TVA certainly follows this principle since variants don't know about the Sacred Timeline before being pulled by the Minutemen... It makes one think about the justice of Justice.

She was a nice kid happy, with 2 parents who loved her and told her the truth about being adopted. So she would never have turned into the asshole that our usual loki becomes which ended up prompting the avengers to become what they become.

First, Mobius and then Loki was pruned. But that end-credit scene gave me hope for the next episode. Loved seeing all of the different Loki variants in that end-scene.
