One small detail that I really love is very often the music of the title card changes, putting you into the emotions of the episode before you even see anything on screen. It’s just a small thing, but that attention detail is what makes this show really stand out. Other Star Wars shows pay attention to details too but usually lore focused. Details in this show are always there to serve the characters.

2025-06-17 23:02:35 +0000 UTCEveryone has already mentioned when this is set, but you should also be aware that this is a lead up to the Rogue One movie, which you maybe should have watched before this. Rogue One is about the team that stole the plans to the original death star that led the Luke destroying it, and Cassian is one of the main characters in that movie. It's probably the most adult of all the star wars movies, if not outright the best. With that context in mind you can understand why Luthen wanted to recruit him. He needs people with skill.
