That doesn't mean it's the version she has to watch. Both are good. She could break it up episodically if she wanted or watch the theatrical in one go. Typically, I'd tell people to watch the theatrical and if they like it, go back and watch the extended, but I don't know what's best for a reaction channel.

2025-06-28 12:17:40 +0000 UTCSince it looks like The Hateful Eight may win the poll, I'd like to point out that there are two very different ways to watch it. One is the Theatrical Cut that runs at just under 3 hours. The other is the Extended Version, which is not only longer at 3.5 hours, but is also divided into four 50-ish minute parts like a miniseries. (Both are on Netflix.) I haven't seen either, so I don't know which is better. I don't know if the super long version is worth it or if it's just overindulgent, but I thought I'd share.
