Wait I gasped when you said that Kleya was Cassian’s sister because I literally hadn’t heard that theory 😭 it DOES make sense but I also kind of hate it at the same time so I’m glad to hear it’s not confirmed 😅 LOVE theorising about anything Star Wars tho so I encourage that xxx

He wanted to live a peaceful life after everything he’d done, she wanted to fight back. He was a vehicle for her vengeance, I think as a way to atone for what he did to her parents and people. When he gave her the choice to push the button, and she WAS willing, he didn’t let her. He just did it for her, so she wouldn’t have the blood on her hands 😭 And I didn’t realise until she was in the room that this was not a rescue mission 😭 I mean she would never have been able to get him out of there, so that was her saving him really. But damn. A love/hate relationship for the ages

But When they refer to “Axis”, I think of Axis and Allies, which was a board game based on the literal Axis powers of Germany and Japan, vs. the Allied powers of the Soviet Union, the United Kingdom, and the United States during WW2. Ghorman is heavily French-coded and represents nazi-occupied France during the war.
