It's the best Gilroy could do after he lost 3 seasons worth of storytelling. Pretty impressed he wrapped up the show so well honestly... Cassian sister was one of those plot threads they had to abandon thanks to limited time

Cassian's sister is supposed to be one of those things that haunts a character (or person) but never gets resolved because sometimes that's just how life is. (I realize this is antithetical to most Star Wars stories)

2025-11-01 06:43:58 +0000 UTCKleya is not Cassian's sister. Cassian almost tracked his sister to a brothel in season 1. Luthen and Kleya knew Cassian's home planet since season 1. If it were Kleya, she would've known Cassian was her brother from the start. Plus, Tony Gilroy said we're never going to see Cassian's sister because her identity is not important to the story. Her separation from Cassian was just a way to motivate Cassian to start the story.
