Carmy even mentioned that Sydney's past employees have said she is incredibly impatient. Carmy didn't handle things well himself. I was thinking more about why Richie is not liking the change that's happening all around. It's not just him liking the way Michael was running the place, Richie loved the nostalgia. The feeling of the social environment. Customers who are regulars, families, that energy. Richie feels it's all disappearing not just with the restaurant but all around town. The world and environment he knew is disappearing.
