Help me pick a Patreon exclusive anime series!

I've been thinking of doing this for a long time and am excited to see what wins. We'll start off with just 1 season of a show for now and see how things play out. Stranger Things is releasing soon, and Fallout shortly after, so I just don't want to overcommit to shows.
I know some folks suggested Blue Eye Samurai, but that's not really a true anime, so I didn't want to include it here. If that's a show you love, please mention it in the comments below, and I'll keep it in mind for the future! Also, I noticed some folks suggested Fullmetal Alchemist, while others mentioned the Brotherhood adaptation. Let me know if you have strong opinions on the two versions in the comments. :)

just all wrong. dub for attack on titan is horrible, that changes way too much from the original anime and is worst for it.

2025-11-07 23:33:12 +0000 UTCAll good choices and feel free to choose dub or sub it doesn't matter since we can easily watch along with our own preferred language and it won't cause an issue. Aot has amazing dub and I've watched it both subbed and dubbed. I would say however that for a new anime watcher dub is easier because you don't have to focus on the subtitles to understand what's going on on the screen as much and there's usually a lot of fast talking even in intense scenes. Many prefer sub but since we supply our own video and audio it really shouldn't matter so go with your own preference

2025-10-29 23:05:01 +0000 UTCBlue Eyed Samurai isn't anime. If anything, it adheres to the Arcane style of animation. And while nothing touches Arcane when it comes to animation, Blue Eyed Samurai gets really close. There are some stunning imagery here. The fight scenes are also on-par with Arcane.

2025-10-29 23:04:01 +0000 UTCI'm kind of surprised, this list has some solid shows on it but seeing frieren on there below the others is pretty depressing, frieren isn't just a good anime, it's one of the single greatest works of art to ever come out in any medium in the last 20 years. Not to mention it's honestly the one of the bunch I think Natalie would be most into, the others are solid for Shonen fans or hard-core anime enthusiasts, but frieren is the only one in this list that moves me to tears every time I watch it. I love fun violent depressing action as much as anyone, but frieren is just, on a whole other level to any of the other shows here
