We're FINALLY diving into an anime series only here on Patreon! It's been a long time coming and I have to say, I enjoyed this first episode A LOT. Definitely excited to check out more episodes.
I will likely begin watching 2 episodes a week here soon. I've just gotten a bit behind on filming lately and am trying to play catch-up before I start releasing more content, but these episodes are short and I definitely do not want to take 6 months to get through 1 season!

2025-11-25 22:09:49 +0000 UTCAs for the show, all I will say is that the "extra" episodes are worth watching, just watch them at the correct time. I was going to skip them because they were a bit more difficult to gain access to, but they are just really special episodes of the show, they fit right in. There are 8 of them. I found this on reddit. https://attackontitan.fandom.com/wiki/List_of_Attack_on_Titan_episodes/OVA. If you want it simple, watch the first 7 after season 1, and before season 2. Watch the eighth after the first episode of season 2. So 1-7, S2E1, 8. Then just watch all the seasons as normal.

Lay on your side and turn the camera 90 degrees. Get like 4 oversized bean bags and toss them into the corner of the room, and burrow under them with your head popping out like a prairie dog. Whatever works.

2025-11-07 19:10:19 +0000 UTChad to sub to patreon because of this. so glad youre watching it subbed too cause as youve already seen, it changes a looooot in the dub. people like to defend it but the dub in my opinion changes way too much. but not here to do a sub or dub debate. just amazing series that is mostly faithfully to the manga. there are some changes as the manga wasnt finished yet but for the most part, its solid in adaptation and the music is just incredible as well as the actors. just one of those shows that you know will be timeless.

Since you're doing watch along format and not picture in picture you'll want to make a note of when it happens, and how often, and go back and read them at the end of each episode. It would make a good addition to the post watch discussion. It's best to read them when they come up, but that's inconvenient to have to pause and play a bunch every time it comes up, as sometimes there's 2 pages to read. But better late than never, as long as you get that info. And if you're able to read it on camera all the better because the information revealed can be pretty important sometimes so your reaction to them is an addition to the watch.

2025-11-06 22:17:08 +0000 UTCAlso some intros have a bit of spoily material in them. Some people say watch them all, most people say don't watch any of them. I am on the team of finding a super fan either in the comments or in your life to look up and write down which ones have major spoilers in them so you can avoid the 10-15% of intros or outro's that have spoilers in them. That way you can enjoy the rest. It sucks when everyone just says "they have spoilers in them don't watch them" and don't help out by specifying which ones. I say if you're going to not watch any of them, specifically don't watch the ones that might spoil and watch the rest, or just watch all of them because missing out on all the intros and outros art and music and throwbacks and stuff is tragic IMO. So just be prepared for this to become a hot button issue in the comments and for people to be passionate about it one way or the other hahaha. One thing everyone can agree on is if it says "preview" don't watch it. If it doesn't, there might be a post-credits scene. There's a few throughout the 4 seasons, and those you should watch. But a "next on" that says "preview" on the screen is simply a teaser and spoiler for the next episode, if that pops up, pause it there.

(please don't take to long though, I'm broke.) lol I'm so excided for your reaction. I haven't started it yet so IDK what you've decided with language but just be sure to watch with the correct subtitles if you're doing subbed, and if you dub DO NOT let people bully you into watching it in a way you don't want and will miss out on the art. The weebs disagree, but the dub voice acting is great and almost up to par with the original, and even better at some points, (I actually prefer some of the sound design in the dub) as well as simply for reaction purposes, if you are super good at watching things with subtitles and catching both subtle visual cues and art, all as well as reading quickly, then by all means subbed is great, and preferable in some ways. But do what YOU want and will get the best viewing experience with, not what your subscribers want, they can just watch their version in whatever audio they want while you watch what you want. (most people forget they can just watch their proffered version while the reactor does theirs. and bully them into watching the way they want rather than what the reactor wants and ruins the whole thing because they miss so much.) So do what you want and prefer and screw all the noise everyone makes about dub vs sub, they're both great and it boils down to what YOU prefer, if there's any doubt, watch the first few episodes in both (simply re-watch the other audio version after recording and see if you prefer it, and decide from there.) Good luck, have fun, and stay away from comment sections that have not been moderated or combed through for spoilers. This community is bad for indirect, unintentional, or even plain spiteful spoiling. Keep the blinders up and have fun! I can't wait!!!!!!!! LETS GOOOOO! Oh and PS don't google anything. Even to double check something you think might not be a spoiler. Have someone else look it up for you and confirm your inquiry.

The mid-episode infographics are usually not of vital importance but it's good to go back because it very much is a action/mystery show. This is the first time that I rewatched it and I recognize many little secrets already that will make only make sense in the future. Just keep paying attention and enjoy the ride.

Also I want to start the campaign for the next potential anime you watch to be Frieren.
