Does car insurance cover vehicles that were sucked into the void? lol I don't think the ending was long enough; it needed a 2 hour longer episode of just standing and talking lol. I really enjoy your watch alongs and the knowledge you drop when we watch a show or movie. You are beautiful. Will you not marry me; accept my un-proposal? lmao ha ha

For example when Nancy said Steve knew what he wanted (6 nuggets) but she didn't know.

2025-12-31 18:22:02 +0000 UTCI interpreted the scene between Jonathan and Nancy as them “acting like they were in love” because they thought they were gonna die. I think if they weren’t in a life or death situation the characters would’ve acted differently. But because they thought they were going to die they poured all their love out for one another (whether it was romantic love or not) because it was the feeling they wanted each other to leave this world with.

I thought Max’s speech to Holly was beautiful, telling her all the reasons why she is Holly The Heroic. I also really liked the scene with Jonathan and Nancy, when watching that I found myself thinking “if they do end up dying here it’d be heartbreaking but also beautiful in a way” haha

2025-12-31 04:16:28 +0000 UTCHateeeee what they did to Jonathan and Nancys characters tbh… been together pretty much from the jump and you break them up in the final season with a weird non-breakup scene and for what? Like I thought it was a cute “oh you drive me crazy but I still love you” scene and that could’ve worked but.. this? Someone mentioned how it feels like Charlie and Natalie are explicitly trying to play the scene the opposite of how the directors intended (like they’re still in love) and honestly I can see it Also trying to recreate Max’s “Running up that Hill” moment not only failed but actually pissed me off bc how dare you lmaoooo, one of the best most original, emotionally rewarding moments in the show and you do a shitty remake of it in literally the next season with worse lighting, writing, and performances? Why? Also every single character and their mother getting a monologue this season is the reason that every episode is over an hour long but also feels like nothing is happening… Kill like 6 characters and move on! I get final seasons are hard etc, but jeez it’s like nobody knows how to write anymore

2025-12-31 03:33:57 +0000 UTCThe end was a beautiful scene. Up there among my favorites of the season. Sadie and Nell just knocked it out of the park. But yeah, I was like you the first time. RUN!! JUST GO!! lol In hindsight at that point the immediate danger of the demodogs getting to her was gone, and Vecna very likely was busy elsewhere. But still. THEY DIDN'T KNOW THAT! The Jonathan/Nancy scene was confusing enough at first that the Duffers had to clarify that it was a breakup scene. Or at least a let's figure out who we are individually before we stay a couple. On a rewatch that's obviously what it is. I think because it's happening when they're about to die, the question about not getting married is a little confusing. Still loving this show!
